During the 2024 season, Royals was named second-team All-Mountain West. He led Utah State with 55 receptions, 834 receiving yards, and tallied six touchdowns while starting seven games. He listed some of the top receivers in the game today, but understands the hard work ahead of him starting this weekend at Rookie camp.
"Just taking it one step at a time, taking it day-by-day," said Royals, "I know it's the first day, but just trying to come in and work and take it step-by-step."
Royals has garnered comparisons to starting receiver Rashee Rice for their similar play, as he hopes to mirror his production on the field in 2025.

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas seem to confirm romance rumors during Vermont getaway
After months of speculation, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas appear to have confirmed their romance during a low‑key getaway in Vermont. The action stars were photographed Saturday holding hands as they strolled through de Armas' home state in the town of Woodstock. Cruise, 63, wore an all navy outfit while de Armas, 37, sported a white tee and black flared jeans. They both took on the town in sneakers. The sighting follows their date night at the Oasis concert in London the night before. Rumors about the pair's connection began in February when they were first seen on a night out in London. At that time, a source told People that the outing was a professional meeting with agents rather than a date. In recent months, Cruise and de Armas have been spotted together multiple times, including leaving David Beckham's 50th birthday party in May and on a yacht in Spain earlier this month. De Armas owns a home in Woodstock, and confirmed in May that she's working on several projects with Cruise, including the upcoming film Deeper, which begins filming in August. The film follows a disgraced astronaut who undertakes a deep-sea expedition into a newly discovered trench, where he comes face-to-face with a terrifying and sinister force. A source told People the two share a 'special work relationship,' and that he is an 'incredible mentor' to her. "She has nothing but amazing things to say about him,' the source said in an article published on July 18, adding that their dynamic was 'not romantic.' Cruise has had three marriages, to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes, and has three children: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, with Kidman, and Suri, 19, with Holmes. De Armas was recently linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba's president. She previously dated Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis and actor Ben Affleck. De Armas bought her Vermont home in November 2022 to escape the spotlight. The remote New England property features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and sits on 30 acres with mountain views, meadows, forests, trails, and a pool, according to the Daily Mail. 'I feel like nowadays, we all want to go away from the craziness of the world,' de Armas told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. 'We all want to have the chance to build your own safe space. I've made that decision myself. I found a home where I really feel off the grid. I can collect myself and only bring there who I want to be with. I have my little cocoon there,' she added. Solve the daily Crossword

Highlights from Day 7 of Bears training camp
The Chicago Bears were back at Halas Hall for their seventh practice of training camp, where there were plenty of notable observations and highlights. It was a lighter practice in shells following back-to-back padded workouts on Monday and Tuesday. There was a heavy focus on red zone, which included quarterback Caleb Williams rushing for a score but the starting offense did have their struggles after a strong start. Rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III was the star of this lighter practice, and it's clear he has a bright future. With fans and media in attendance, there were plenty of highlights from this lighter practice, including Burden's impressive catch and Williams scoring during red zone work. Don't want to draft a kicker this fantasy football season? Here are some Week 1 streamers
By Jennifer Eakins, 4for4 I prefer to stream my kickers from week-to-week for fantasy football, so I usually draft based on Week 1 matchups, and always in the final round. Since the odds for the first week of the 2025 season are already out, I figured I'd share my top picks for those who choose the same approach. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] You won't find the elite names here since they'll be drafted, and most likely too early at that. Week 1 Streamers Evan McPherson, Bengals @ Browns Coming off a rough 2024 where he converted just 72.7% of his field-goal attempts before missing the final five games with a torn abductor muscle, McPherson starts out with a plus-matchup on the road. The Bengals head to Cleveland favored by 5.5 points, with a generous team total of 25.5 points. Brandon McManus, Packers vs. Lions We have another divisional battle in Week 1 as the Packers host Detroit from the jump. Green Bay is projected to win by 1.5 points in this one while scoring 25.5 in the potential victory. McManus joined the team in October and was perfect in PATs and only missed two field goals, earning a three-year deal this Karty, Rams vs. Texans It was a mixed bag for Karty in 2024, but he should start the 2025 season strong at home against Houston. The Rams are favored to win by a field goal, with a decent team total of 24.5 points. Cam Little, Jaguars vs. Panthers The Jags begin at home against Carolina and are favored by 3.0 points. Little should put in some work, as Jacksonville currently boasts a team total of 24.5 points. Little is a solid choice and is a guy who'll be there in the final round no matter what fantasy football draft slot you're choosing from.
