'90s Rock Icon, 61, Nearly 'Snaps' After Having Continued Guitar Issues Mid-Show
One of the major solo artists to emerge from the '90s rock scene is Lenny Kravitz. The New York star has had massive amounts of success over the years as one of the premier solo rock acts of his decade, reaching the Billboard Hot 100's top ten multiple times with songs like "It 'Aint Over 'Til It's Over," Fly Away," and "Again." Kravitz also set a record for most consecutive Grammy wins in the "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" category.
Needless to say, Kravitz is a superstar and somebody who knows how to give a performance. As it turns out though, everybody is victim to technical difficulties. At a recent show, the artist showed some clear frustration after suffering some malfunctions with his equipment.
When someone asked, "What happened?," the creator explained, "He kept having issues with his guitars and sound... but to us, it was perfect... we didn't notice any issues."
He might have been "snapping," but he played it off like a true pro.
Taking to the comments, fans shared their support for the artist.
"The show must go on… Lenny is super professional. 💗""Yeah, he really didn't need to bring it up. He was smashing."
"He doesn't have time for nonsense."
Technical issues or not, you're guaranteed a good show when this legend is performing.

‘90s Rock Icons Took Ozzy Osbourne's Death So Hard, They've Canceled Tour Dates: ‘We Need Time to Grieve'
'90s Rock Icons Took Ozzy Osbourne's Death So Hard, They've Canceled Tour Dates: 'We Need Time to Grieve' originally appeared on Parade. Perhaps no band, aside from Black Sabbath, has taken 's death as hard as Pantera. The current touring lineup of the '90s chart-topping metal band includes , who may be best known as the guitarist in Osbourne's solo band. Given Wylde's closeness to Ozzy, it may not be too surprising to hear that Pantera has opted to cancel some live dates in wake of Osbouren's death. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 The band announced the decision to postpone and cancel some dates in a recent post on its official Instagram account. 'Ozzy wasn't just a legend who shaped the very foundation of heavy metal and inspired Pantera from the beginning — he was family. A mentor, a brother, and a constant presence in our lives both on and off the stage. The bond we shared with him ran far deeper than music,' the post reads. 'In light of this profound loss, we need time and space to grieve — to be with our families, our crew, and each other as we process and honor the life of someone who meant so much to us,' it continues. 'Out of respect, and to allow members of our team the time to mourn, we will be rescheduling the following shows: July 28 - Saratoga Springs, NY → Tuesday, September 9, July 31 - Holmdel, NJ → Monday, September 8.' The band also announced that it is canceling dates on July 29 in Gilford, N.H., Sept. 8 in Birmingham, Ala., and Sept. 10 in Virginia Beach, Va. The band ended the post with, 'We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.'Pantera covered the Black Sabbath song 'Planet Caravan' on their chart-topping 1994 album Far Beyond Driven. The band is also no strangers to tragedy. On Dec. 8, 2004, the band's original guitarist, Dimebag Darrell, was shot and killed onstage during a show in Columbus, Ohio. His brother, Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul, died of heart failure in 2018, leaving vocalist Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown the only surviving original members of the band. Matthew Broderick was a nervous wreck during 'Ferris Bueller' parade scene: 'I've never danced before'
Choreographer Kenny Ortega looks back at the making of the 1986 John Hughes classic. Oh yeah, Matthew Broderick nailed that dance number. But Kenny Ortega, who choreographed the iconic parade scene of the 1986 movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, in which star Broderick's Bueller encourages the crowd in downtown Chicago to "Twist and Shout," as he lip-synced to that song as well as "Danke Schoen," says the actor was not nearly as confident as he looked on screen. Dramatically dropping to his knees, shaking his head, and moving his hips, like a rock star would do was uncomfortable for the young actor. "Matthew, the first day I laid eyes on him was in a rehearsal," Ortega said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. "He was in a pair of sweats and a T-shirt, and he was a nervous wreck. He was like, 'I've never danced before,' and I was like, 'Don't worry about it. We're gonna figure this out together.' And he was the most charming, wonderful, sweet man to work with." And Ortega, who was also working as a second unit director, truly meant that. "That was my first directing assignment for a motion picture," Ortega said of the John Hughes film that continues to be an audience favorite. "And he gave me 12 cameras. We moved the float into a real parade. And then we got one take. It was such a magical day, and working with Matthew Broderick." Ferris, which costarred Mia Sara and Alan Ruck as the main character's girlfriend, Sloane, and best friend, Cameron, followed the three teens on an epic day after he faked being sick to skip school. Apparently Bueller wasn't too worried about being recognized when he hopped onto a float. (Like the rest of the movie, parts of the parade scene didn't make sense, but the point was that it was definitely a fun watch.) Sara has said that the filming of the parade scene is her favorite memory from the set, because she "had so much fun," she told PEOPLE in June. Ortega also told PEOPLE that Ferris Bueller's Day Off is where he met the actress who played Ferris' sister, Jeanie: Jennifer Grey, who would soon work with him on another movie, 1987's Dirty Dancing. She simply loved acting. "I've had no career – I was trying to earn money to keep myself alive. I've never had any idea of a destiny or where my career would go and I have never ever asked myself, "Will this damage my career?" I loved acting, so that was going to be my chosen thing," Lumley explained to the Radio Times. Originally a model, Lumley soon found herself stuck in roles as the "pretty girlfriend." Eventually, she began to land roles that allowed her to show her immense talent. "We actors just wanted to get to be better actors, and we wanted to work so we could pay the rent. We weren't longing for stardom. We're jobbing actors and we're no different, really, from painters and decorators," she noted. "It's a precarious profession at the best of times and I've just done anything to keep my head above water."'AbFab' Legend Joanna Lumley, 78, Stuns on the Red Carpet first appeared on Parade on Jul 30, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 30, 2025, where it first appeared.
