Avalanche sign forwards Matthew Stienburg, Jason Polin
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Stienburg, 24, missed most of the 2024-25 season with an upper-body injury sustained in November. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 16 and recorded no points and 22 penalty minutes in eight games with Colorado.
Colorado drafted Stienburg in the third round in 2019.
Polin, 26, made his NHL debut in 2023-24 and has collected one goal and two penalty minutes in nine games over the past two season for the Avs.
Polin was undrafted after playing collegiately at Western Michigan from 2019-23.

Dolphins sign CB Jack Jones after Artie Burns injury
July 26 - The Miami Dolphins signed free agent cornerback Jack Jones in response to the season-ending injury suffered by Artie Burns in practice on Wednesday. The team announced the signing on Saturday but did not reveal the terms. ESPN reported Jones signed a one-year deal. He was at work at training camp in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Saturday. CBS Miami posted video to its X account showing Jones talking with head coach Mike McDaniel. Jones, 27, was selected by the Patriots in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He spent his first season in New England before being waived on Nov. 13, 2023.
