Kieran Trippier's wife, Charlotte, has broken her silence after he was seen getting close to Chloe Ferry. Last week, the Newcastle United defender was spotted getting close to the Geordie Shore star at a party in Ibiza.
The England ace who married Charlotte in 2016 has been hit by a scandal that sparked when an infamous night out saw him lifting a blonde woman during a night out with his teammates. Just last month, he was also seen with a mystery blonde woman on a night out. Charlotte, 36, was said to have been sent a video of Kieran with the woman in May.
But last week, a photo showed Kieran with his hand placed on Chloe's bum as the pair partied with friends at Ibiza super club, Ushuaia, with a source saying Chloe was "having some fun."
The England international, who has 54 caps, shared with his followers that he's moving forward after parting ways with his wife and the mother of his two children. Now, Charlotte, who has remained quiet throughout the situation, has spoken out and told fans she is "fine" but not ready to talk.
Taking to Instagram in view of her 34,300 followers, she said she had been inundated with messages of support from women and also men who had been sending their well wishes. "I just wanted to let everyone know that I am fine," she said. Charlotte added: "Obviously, I am not ready to talk about my situation.
"In time I will, when I am comfortable and the time is right, also I have three young children, haven't I, so I don't want to be putting things out there for them to see. But yeah, I just wanted to let everyone know it's not that bad, and you can get through it once you make the decision.
"Like, you can get through it, the sparkle does come back, I feel like I am getting my glow back again, and yeah, like, you'll get there. So, anyone that needs any motivational speech or just some general chit chat, I'm all about mental health and stuff like that, I'm letting you know you will absolutely get through, any sort of break up or anything similar to what I'm going through."
Charlotte's post which has been liked over 2,800 times was soon flooded with messages of support. Former The Only Way Is Essex star Billi Mucklow penned: "Keep sparkling beautiful." One Newcastle United fan penned: "I live in the North East and I'm a huge Newcastle fan, I love Trippier on the pitch and all he's done for the team, and if I'm being honest, I didn't want to believe what I was reading on social media about him. However, I wanted to say I've followed you for a while now and what a lovely, genuine person you seem to be. Always so happy and classy. You're so pretty, he's lost a good one there!"
Charlotte replied to the fan: "Thanks so much! Tripps defo does great on the pitch and so happy for you Geordies that you are doing so well! Much love to the Geordies." "Love this! Well done for bringing awareness to your followers and other women in this situation," said a second follower.
Meanwhile a third went on to write: "Top lady, he's lost a beautiful wife... If he don't know this now he will soon... As said above, I love him on the pitch as im a huge NUFC fan... However, he's let himself and his family down. Stay classy Charlotte." There seems to be no chance of a reconciliation as sources recently claimed that Charlotte is seeking legal action and is "keen to move on with her life."
"Kieran is a devoted dad, but as a partner, it hasn't worked out as Charlotte had hoped," the source told The Sun. "She has moved house and started anew, so getting a divorce has been the next logical step. Charlotte wants to keep things as amicable as possible with Kieran."
Writing on Instagram on Wednesday night, the footballer told fans: "Myself and Charlotte separated over a year ago. I have not commented previously as it is a private matter, and we want to protect our children. We ask the media to respect our privacy in the same way."

The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home. Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau. Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December. Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: 'I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.' Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019. Owen recalled: 'I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work. Ryan was diagnosed with stage two bladder cancer, making one of the 10,500 people in the UK each year - and 29 per day - to receive this life-changing news. 'I was in complete shock,' Ryan admitted. Home and Away actor Tristan Bancks is best known for his role as Tug O'Neale on the popular Australian soap and, since leaving the show, has landed a string of impressive roles From its debut in 1989, Home and Away became a must-watch for soap fans With its gripping plotlines and the beautiful backdrop of Summer Bay, it's no wonder audiences continue to enjoy the Aussie soap after more than three decades. Over its impressive 36-year run, Home and Away has seen a host of stars grace its screens, including Tristan Bancks, who played the character Tug O'Neale. From 1992 to 1994, Tristan was a regular fixture on the soap, having been chosen from among 200 hopefuls for the role. As Tug, Tristan found himself at the heart of numerous high-profile storylines, tackling issues such as mental health and bullying. However, after two years, he decided to step away from the show to explore new opportunities. After leaving Home and Away, Tristan, now 50, relocated to London for a short time where he secured several presenting roles, including hosting the game show Don't Try This At Home.
