WWII Drama ‘The Ghost And The Gun' Unveils Cast, Set To Begin Production In Bali In June
The film is set in 1948 and follows a pair of soldiers abandoned by the British in Malaysia after the war. Both soldiers soon find themselves having to defend a village from rebel warlords.

Filming will commence in Bali, Indonesia at the newly-built Viking Sunset Studios.
The Malay-and English- language film will be the third feature film from Anshul Tiwari (Netflix's Before Life After Death).
The Ghost and the Gun producers include Debasmita Dasgupta (Films Positive), Mikail Mahmud Chowdhury (LDNO Productions) and Tim Willrich (Limbo Pictures).
Misfit Productions co-founder Jessie White will serve as the film's executive producer, with The Ghost and the Gun marking the company's first narrative feature film involvement.
'Rarely have we seen the aftermath of WWII in Asia,' said director Tiwari. 'That's what drew me to this project, a chance to show a period in history that is often forgotten. The backdrop is the British withdrawal from Southeast Asia, but the heart of the film is these characters suffering from trauma and guilt. External scars of war may heal but the emotional damage never goes away.'
Dasgupta added: 'To make a film with such complex characters and emotions requires a remarkable calibre of cast, and we are fortunate to have that calibre onboard.'
Bo Holmgreen, founder of Viking Sunset Studios, said: 'We are thrilled to bring this magnificent movie to Bali. We combine state of the art facilities and the largest enclosed soundstage right on the beach alongside a huge range of locations with jungle, rivers and palm trees next to our backlots so we can concentrate sets close to the studio with minimal crew movement.'

She went to Juilliard, thank God. She actually finished high school. And what I did learn [about mothering] is that nobody listens. So it's really about being there for [my kids] rather than telling them what to do,' she said. Pulp Fiction, about two hitmen — portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta — and how their exploits intersect with the lives of a cast of characters existing in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, also stars Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Christopher Walken and Harvey Keitel. Oasis at Manchester Heaton Park set list for Sunday July 20
Oasis have now bid farewell to Heaton Park following their stellar run of Manchester shows this past week. Their five performances at Heaton Park will have attracted close to 350,000 fans across the five dates and have been hailed as a big return to form for the iconic local band. The Live '25 tour marks the first time Liam and Noel Gallagher have reunited on stage in nearly 16 years, following their split in 2009. But when they announced last summer they were coming back, it sent fans in a frenzy to secure tickets. Some ten million people tried to secure tickets for their run of UK and Ireland shows, as fans came up against inflated ticket prices due to dynamic pricing and other sales issues. Christina Aguilera Attends ‘Burlesque the Musical' in London: See Her Reaction
Christina Aguilera is gushing over Burlesque the Musical. On Saturday (July 19), the 44-year-old pop icon attended the stage adaptation of Steven Antin's 2010 film Burlesque, in which she starred as an aspiring performer opposite Cher, who played a glamorous nightclub owner. 'BLOWN AWAY!!!' she captioned an Instagram video of herself at the show, set to her track 'Show Me How You Burlesque,' from the original Burlesque soundtrack. The short clip shows Aguilera — an executive producer of the musical — smiling and clapping during the performance, with scenes from the production spliced throughout. 'My review of Burlesque the Musical,' the 'Genie in a Bottle' singer wrote over the video, adding five stars. After Saturday's show, Burlesque the Musical shared clips on Instagram of Aguilera arriving at the theater, waving to fans while wearing a sheer black outfit. She soon becomes a dancer and cocktail waitress at a struggling burlesque lounge owned by Tess Scali, played by Cher. The 10-song Burlesque soundtrack — featuring music written and produced by Diane Warren, Sia, Tricky Stewart, Ron Fair, Linda Perry and Aguilera — reached No. 18 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in 2010. Burlesque the Musical made its world premiere in June at the Manchester Opera House and is now playing at London's Savoy Theatre through early September. Written and produced by Antin, the stage adaptation features songs by Aguilera and Sia, along with new music by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley.
