Drake Congratulates DDG For His New Album ‘Blame the Chat,' Trolls Adin Ross For Not Listening to It

Drake has given DDG his flowers for his new album Blame The Chat and clowned Adin Ross for having not listened to it.
In DDG's latest Twitch stream on Monday (May 12), DDG and Adin Ross spent the day together, culminating in a video call with The Boy. 'Congrats on your album,' Drake told the rapper, before pivoting his attention to Adin, 'Did you listen to it?'

'Nah, you know me man, I was, uh,' Adin began to say, before Drake cut him off. 'Why are you saying you didn't stream man?' he exclaimed. 'You were literally just streaming. You've been streaming for four out of the last like seven days!'
The compliments from Drake come after DDG said he thought his new album was gonna sell the equivalent of 500 units in its first week. The YouTube star turned rapper then confirmed that the album had only sold 1,230 units, before changing that number to 11,000. Regardless, the album did not chart the Billboard 200.
The low numbers don't seem to be phasing DDG, who claimed last month his lifestyle is actually so extravagant he still lives paycheck to paycheck.
'I have to make money,' he said during a livestream. 'Bills are high. Did I tell you how much my bills is a month? N—a, my bills high as s—t. If I don't work, I'ma go broke ASAP… Like, I have to work. I don't have a choice. It ain't 'bout me trying to pocket some money. I have multiple homes, multiple cars. I have family. I have a child. I spend a lot of money.'

Drake pettily covered up his LeBron James tattoo with one of SGA

After seemingly taking a jab at LeBron James on his NSFW recent single "What Did I Miss?" last week, rapper/recent beef loser Drake has taken his apparent distaste for James even further. After James telegraphed his support for rapper Kendrick Lamar during last year's epic rap battle between Lamar and Drake (one that sent the latter's career into a tailspin), Drake has apparently covered up his LeBron tattoo with one of Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a fellow Canadian. This is next-level petty from Drake, who clearly wasn't thrilled that James was in Lamar's corner during last year's back-and-forth. He's got a right to covering up his tattoo if he wishes, we suppose. Alas. Drake has always been a bandwagon fan, so we guess he's a Thunder guy now. The only question is whether or not this means he'll no longer perform Forever. We'll lean no, considering he wrote the song for James' high school documentary More than a Game.

Drake gets Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tattoo to cover a LeBron James one

In the latest sign that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has turned into a global brand, Drake recently sported some new ink inspired by the NBA's MVP. The two Canadians are among the most successful individuals in their respective industries. At a show, Drake had Gilgeous-Alexander's jersey tattooed on his arm. It replaced LeBron James' old high school jersey that was previously on the musician's arm. You can research it yourself, but Drake and James have beefed over the last year because the latter supported Kendrick Lamar. Meanwhile, Gilgeous-Alexander has shown love for Drake in his superstar ascension. Any time you walk into a Thunder shootaround or practice, there's a coin flip chance you'll hear one of his songs being played. When the musician performed in OKC last year, the MVP winner starred in a hype video. The Oklahoma City Thunder are fresh off an NBA championship. Gilgeous-Alexander just had one of the greatest individual seasons ever with an MVP trophy and ring. Considering OKC will be a perennial contender for the foreseeable future, not bad to align yourself with one of the league's best players and teams. Drake did a jersey swap of Bron and SGA for his new tattoo 😭🔥
