At The Box Office: ‘Watch the Skies'
One of the strongest aspects of this film is that we follow club characters 'that we really grow to care about,' according to Swift. She describes the first half of this experience as 'charming'.
Swift also notes that the main actress is strong and has a good dynamic with the cast.
While the second half sort of 'falls apart', Swift says that this film still remains 'unabashedly sincere', which makes it worth seeing.
Behind the scenes, 'Watch the Skies' was made by a five-person collective, meaning there is not one single director. The movie also tried some new technology for dubbing, and attempted to use computer models to aid in matching lips with the actors' translated lines.
Those interested in checking out 'Watch the Skies' can see it at AMC theatres.

Travis Kelce Sparks Taylor Swift Wedding Speculation With Latest Gesture
As Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift come up on their two-year anniversary, many are expecting the couple to tie the knot sometime soon. And while marriage rumors hung over Kelce and Swift's head for nearly the entirety of the 2024 NFL season-many expected them to get engaged following Super Bowl LIX back on Feb. 9 before the Chiefs got blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles-multiple reports have indicated if and when Kelce does propose, it'll be a private, intimate event just between he and Swift. Fans are likely counting down the days until news breaks of the couple's pending nuptials, which, according to a new report from the Daily Mail, might be closer than some think. A source close to the situation indicated that Kelce helping take care of Swift's father Scott after his recent heart surgery may have brought the couple one step closer to wedding bells. "This was their first crisis together and Travis was doing everything right," a source told the Daily Mail. "If Taylor wasn't ready to marry him before, she sure is now. They were in love before, but now it seems unbreakable." Page Six reported that Kelce, who was recently added to the Swift family group chat, went into "caregiver mode," ordering meals for Swift while her father is in recovery and personally checking in on Scott as well. Scott had quintuple bypass surgery more than a month ago. His family-wife Andrea, son Scott and Swift-has been with him throughout his recovery, and Swift's rep even disclosed that he was "feeling fantastic" as he works his way back to full health. His heart procedure was not a result of a heart attack and came about after his doctor notices something during a routine checkup. Copyright 2025 The Arena Group, Inc. All Rights Reserved

This '70s pop band has won over Gen Z (again) with 1 billion Spotify streams.
It's not 1979, but ABBA is bewitching a whole new generation with its disco magic. The iconic Swedish pop group, beloved for its infectious blend of Europop and danceable grooves, has made Spotify history with its late-'70s hit "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)." The song, cowritten and coproduced by members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, entered Spotify's Billions Club on Sunday, July 20, after surpassing one billion streams on the music platform, Spotify exclusively confirmed to USA TODAY. This isn't the first time ABBA has dominated the streaming universe with its timeless tunes. The band's enduring anthem, "Dancing Queen," entered the Billions Club in July 2023. Released in October 1979 as part of the group's compilation album "Greatest Hits Vol. 2," "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" peaked at No. 1 in several territories, including Europe, Denmark, Japan and Switzerland, and cracked the top 20 in ABBA's native Sweden. The song has received a number of revivals over the years thanks to various covers and samples. '80s diva and "Queen of Pop" Madonna featured the track's opening synth line in her 2005 song "Hung Up," which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
