American YouTuber heading to M&D's for baby and toddler show
Miss Rachel Fever, the American YouTuber who creates baby and toddler learning videos, is heading to Lanarkshire.
The former teacher who has 14.9 million YouTube subscribers and a reported net worth of around $10 million began producing videos in 2019 to help preschoolers with language development and has become a phenomenal success.
M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, in partnership with Wicked Entertainment, has announced details of a Miss Rachel inspired morning featuring two shows which sold out within a matter of hours.
The family attraction has now added a further two performances in response to the overwhelming demand. The shows will take place at 2.30pm and 4.15pm on Saturday, July 19.
Jensen Taylor Connelly, M&D's Director, said: 'Miss Rachel became popular during the pandemic and her popularity has just rocketed as people look to entertain their babies.
'However, we were taken aback by how quickly our initial two performances sold out. We're really looking forward to welcoming all the babies on the day, it will be great fun!'
Tickets cost £13.95 plus booking fee, which includes entry to Krazy Congo soft play as well as the Miss Rachel performance, and can be purchased at https://scotlandsthemepark.com/product/ms-rachel-inspired-morning/

The band's final London concert is set to go ahead as planned tonight (August 3), it has been confirmed. It comes after the Metropolitan Police said a man in his 40s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and was found with injuries "consistent with a fall". The force continued: 'The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage. 'If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.' Sky News said the police confirmed officers on duty at the stadium responded, alongside venue medics and the London Ambulance Service, to reports a person had been injured at around 10.20pm. Reports suggest the man fell from Wembley's upper tier. A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: 'Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall. Recommended reading: 'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. 'Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. 'Tonight's Oasis concert will go ahead as planned.'

The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor, who is also the co-owner of Wrexham AFC alongside fellow Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, was seen in a short clip practising his Welsh words and phrases as the cultural festival kickstarts this weekend. The American actor was aided by Maxine Hughes, a Welsh journalist from Conwy who now lives in Washington D.C. The journalist has been helping both McElhenney and Reynolds with learning Welsh since they took over the north Wales club in 2020. At the start of the short clip, Maxine begins: "Ok, let's do: 'Croeso i'r Eisteddfod yn Wrecsam', which I know you can do this because we've done the 'croeso' many times before". Rob then repeats 'Croeso i'r Eisteddfod yn Wrecsam' in near perfect Welsh, but as Maxine points out the 'y' in the word 'yn', which means 'in' in Welsh, has a distinctive sound. "You actually sounded like a proper Welsh person there because you called it 'Steddfod, which is what we call it. That was excellent." The two then go over 'Mae'r Eisteddfod yn dod i Wrecsam', which means that the 'Eisteddfod is coming to Wrexham'. By his second attempt, the comedian and actor has perfect pronunciation of the phrase and seemingly knows it as his smile beams. The sweet clip comes as the National Eisteddfod begins in the Welsh city on Saturday, August 2. The week-long cultural festival will take place at Is-y-Coed in Wrexham, the first time it has been held in the city since 2011.
