Sisi: Peace in Middle East Will Not Be Achieved Until Palestinian State Founded
Yara Sameh President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that Egypt, a consistent supporter of peace, believes that peace is not born by bombing, imposed by force, or achieved through normalization that the people reject. Addressing the nation on the 12th anniversary of the June 30 revolution on Monday, Sisi added: "True peace is built on the foundations of justice, fairness and understanding,". "The continuation of war and occupation will not produce peace, but rather will feed the cycle of hatred and violence, and open the doors to revenge and resistance... That will not shut down ... Enough with the violence, killing, and hatred, enough with the occupation, displacement, and homelessness," he noted. Sisi continued: "Peace, although it may seem difficult to achieve, is not impossible. It has always been the choice of the wise. Let us draw inspiration from the experience of the Egyptian-Israeli peace process in the 1970s, which was brokered by the United States, as proof that peace is possible if intentions are sincere. Peace in the Middle East will only be achieved with the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, based on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital." read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

Macron Urges Iran to Respect Ceasefire, Resume Nuclear Talks
Nada Mustafa French President Emmanuel Macron, in a phone call with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, stressed the importance of respecting the ceasefire as a crucial step toward restoring peace and returning to the negotiation table. In a post on the social media platform X, Macron stated: 'I held a phone conversation with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian. I emphasized the need to respect the ceasefire and exercise maximum restraint in order to restore peace and resume negotiations.' Macron added that the discussion also touched on the release of French nationals Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris, and the protection of property in Iran, which, he said, 'must not be subject to any threats.' He further highlighted the urgency of returning to negotiations to address ballistic and nuclear activities, underlining the importance of adhering to the ceasefire to help restore regional peace. Macron reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and called for the swift resumption of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) operations in Iran to ensure the necessary transparency. He concluded by stating that he would continue efforts in the coming days to achieve these goals. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

OPEN// FM: We are finalizing ceasefire deal on Gaza including 60-day truce
CAIRO, June 30 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affaires, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said that Egypt is currently working on an anticipated agreement regarding the Gaza Strip, which includes a 60-day truce, with the hope of moving to a subsequent phase. In an exclusive interview with "ON TV" satellite channel Saturday night, Abdelatty added that international parties, most notably the United States, have become increasingly aware of and convinced by the soundness of the Egyptian approach and vision, which assert that all these issues are interconnected, and that there can be no security or stability in the region without addressing the core of the conflict: the Israeli-Palestinian issue. Abdelatty continued by saying that clear messages have also been conveyed to the Israeli side: that there will be no security or stability for Israel or the region without addressing the Palestinian cause and reaching just and lasting peaceful solutions. The Foreign Minister noted that the United States understands the importance of any future agreement on Gaza including clear guarantees for the sustainability of a ceasefire. He emphasized that the ceasefire on January 19 could not have been achieved without the intervention of the new US administration, even before officially taking office, and expressed appreciation for President Donald Trump's vision in working toward a sustainable ceasefire, which should lead to a comprehensive settlement.
