It is now up to the honours committee who will send a shortlist of recommendations to the Prime Minister Keir Starmer and then King Charles to sign off.
Robbie is tied with The Beatles for the most UK No1 albums, with 15 chart-topping records, as well as seven No1 singles as a solo artist.
He is also responsible for creating Soccer Aid way back in 2006, which to date has raised £106million for Unicef, who he has been an ambassador for since 2000.
Robbie has been involved in 11 Comic Relief events and is a patron for Music Support — a charity helping people in the industry who are suffering from addiction or mental health issues.

Radio 2 breakfast show host Scott Mills has thrown his weight behind calls for Rob to get the honour.
Scott told Bizarre: 'I think Robbie should be knighted, 100 per cent. For his contribution for music alone.
'Let's not forget, he's the most decorated Brits winner in history. I think we should celebrate and acknowledge how much joy he has brought.
'He deserves it. Not only for his contribution to music, but also for fighting his demons in the public eye and coming out the other side.
'He should be acknowledged for his honesty and bravery. He really is a role model.'
Scott recently DJ'd at Robbie's Emirates Stadium gig and said: 'He reminds me of the Knebworth Robbie.
Robbie Williams kisses fan in Murrayfield crowd as he belts out Sunshine on Leith
'He is at the peak of his powers. He has his mojo back. He would admit that he lost it for a while but he's like his old self, just clean and sober.
'It's clear that it doesn't scare him right now.'
He added: 'I don't know why. I just think he's really comfortable in his skin. I really loved his film Better Man.
'I thought a lot of the reviews were really unfair. I got emotional and cried. I thought it was really clever and honest and I watched it three times.'
It has already been a bumper year for Robbie.
After kicking off his latest tour and with 13th album Britpop out in a few months, it's only going to get busier.
I'd love to see him get the honour. In my eyes, it's long overdue.

HAILEY BIEBER found the perfect way to show off her body, errr, I actually mean her new Rhode lip tint, by posing with it in her bikini.

Apparently there's been a lot of discussion online about her new Lemontini gloss, which is described as having a 'sweet, citrusy lemon cocktail scent,' as lots of people suggested it should be inspired by the colour of butter instead.
She said on Instagram: 'Stop asking me why it's not 'butter yellow.' It's not butter yellow because it's LEMON. Not butter. And butter yellow is played out…respectfully.'
Who knew shades of yellow could provoke such a reaction?

The singer, whose album Idols is currently No1, will be celebrated at the Peugeot Attitude Pride Awards Europe 2025 today.
It comes after he was questioned over his sexuality, having only recently ended a long-term relationship with a woman.
He said: 'I don't fit into a box. If it's a fing vibe, I'll fing kiss you no matter what you are. I don't give a f.
'I'm a lover in terms of everything sexually. It's been the hardest thing to have my authenticity questioned, because I've only ever been myself.'

That didn't later stop Best Live Act winners Idles shouting out Palestine in their acceptance speech.
As Sophie, won Best Female, she said: 'I've actually got a shelf in my house where I put all my Best Female awards and this will take pride of place, and I promise it's not just because it's the first one I've ever won.'

Tony is on his farewell tour – but it might not be the end. He said: 'The amazing thing is, since I announced I was going to do a farewell tour, the phone has never stopped ringing.
"It's gone berserk. The tour anyway was going to be a good two years because it takes in Australia, New Zealand and all these places, but now it's actually getting longer.'

Oasis fans travel from Australia for band's first gig in 16 years
Oasis will kickstart their long-awaited worldwide reunion tour in Cardiff on Friday. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will perform together for the first time since their dramatic split in 2009, when they appear at the Welsh capital's Principality Stadium. Fans Lachlan Weekes and Jayden Helm, who spent more than a day travelling from Sydney, Australia, to attend the concert in the Welsh capital, were among fans gathering ahead of the gig. Fans have gathered outside the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, as the band's long-awaited reunion tour kicks off in Wales (Jordan Pettitt/PA) Mr Weekes said: 'We've been planning it forever. We always said that if they got back together, we'd be at that first show.' Mr Helm said: 'We've been lifelong fans – we're 22 and 21, so haven't really had a chance to see them before. 'We always said it was worth it to come, we wouldn't miss it for the world,' he added. 'To take time off work to come over here, it's more than worth it.' The pair also visited Manchester, where the band formed in 1991, stopping off at Heaton Park as part of their personal Oasis tour. Fans travelled from as far as Australia for the gig in Cardiff, Wales (Jordan Pettitt/PA) Lawrence Evans, from just outside Swansea, said his 'life changed' when he started listening to the band as he then started to play music and write songs. He said: 'They were the band that made me realise how much guitar music meant to me. 'It's something that stays with you forever. If you get into this type of music, I think it's in your soul forever,' he added. His son Jimmy said of the concert: 'The fact that it's in Wales is really special for us. 'It's the first time I get to see Oasis, (my dad) he's lost count, he's seen them countless times. 'I've been waiting for this day all my life.' Fans began queueing from 8am, outside the Principality Stadium, Cardiff (Jordan Pettitt/PA) Alex Schuetz, an Oasis fan from Germany, said you could not travel far enough to see the band. 'The first time I saw them was in 1997,' he said. 'The last time was in Manchester 2009, just before they broke up. 'I even got a ticket for a small festival in Germany and on the ferry to that festival I heard they broke up. 'I was like, 'Oh my god' something was dying inside of me – it sounds a bit stupid, but it took me ages (to get over it).' He added: 'I've come from Germany. You cannot travel far enough, I've been a fan since 1995.' Glenn Moss, an Oasis fan from Essex who regularly gets mistaken for Liam Gallagher, said he started working as an impersonator ahead of the Britpop band's reunion, having previously been against the idea. He said: 'I get stopped all the time – as soon as I got here yesterday four people within five minutes stopped me asking if I was him or for a photo.' The brothers announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last August, starting with two dates in Cardiff on Friday and Saturday, before heading across the UK and Ireland. Artist Nathan Wyburn with his artwork 'The Wonder Wall', a monochrome portrait of Oasis bandmates Noel and Liam Gallagher constructed entirely from bucket hats, commissioned by St David's, on display at the shopping centre in Cardiff (Alistair Heap Media Assignments/PA) Doors are expected to open at 5pm, with Cast and the Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft in support. Former members of the group are expected to make a return, with Andy Bell on bass, and Gem Archer and Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs on guitars. Noel was spotted getting off the train in Cardiff on Tuesday, while a drone display spelling out the band's name could be seen over the stadium on Wednesday. Fans across the city have also heard what they believe to be rehearsals in the Principality throughout the week. The reunion announcement came 15 years after Noel quit the Britpop band, saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer', following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. While fans have been pleading for the group to reunite since they disbanded, website issues and controversial dynamic pricing brought outrage, with many failing to secure a spot. After tickets for the UK and Ireland shows went on sale last year, some standard tickets appeared to have jumped from £148 to £355. Ticketing issues, with website problems and dynamic pricing, mean many fans failed to secure a spot and resale prices were high (Yui Mok/PA) The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing. Following Cardiff, Oasis will visit Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July, August and September. The group will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America. A movie, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is being made in conjunction with the reunion tour. The rock band was led by lead guitarist Noel and his brother, lead vocalist Liam, during their 18 years together. The reunion comes 15 years after Noel Gallagher quit the band, claiming he could no longer work with brother Liam Gallagher (Zak Hussein/PA) Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994. They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever. Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.

This Morning's Alison Hammond at centre of embarrassing blunder that goes completely unnoticed by co-host Dermot O'Leary
This Morning's Alison Hammond was at the centre of an embarrassing blunder on Friday that went completely unnoticed by her co-host Dermot O'Leary. The latest instalment of the ITV show saw the dynamic duo return to our screens to chat about the latest headlines and celebrity guests. Alison, 50, and Dermot, 52, were in high spirits as they spoke to Jake Quickenden, 36, live from Cardiff ahead of the iconic Oasis reunion later today. Alison told viewers: 'Well listen, its the all inspired by the big reunion, we're partying like it's 1994 today with some Brit pop themed Friday juke box throughout the show. 'What have you got for us, Dermot?' Dermot replied: 'Well it's tough for me because I wanted to go with one song but I think someone is going to play that later on. Alison, 50, and Dermot, 52, were in high spirits as they spoke to Jake Quickenden , 36, live from Cardiff ahead of the iconic Oasis reunion later today 'I've got with my second choice, but what a choice. A little bit of Blur... 'Come on give me Song 2!' Dermot and Alison then busted out some moves to the popular tune. Alison then shared her choice, explaining: 'I am going to go way, way, back. I think I am going to go with Supergrass, Alright.' But some eagle-eyed fans were keen to point out that Alison picked a song in the wrong year. One said on X: 'Alright came out in 1995 not 1994 #thismorning.' Supergrass released the song Alright back in 1995 and placed in at number two in the UK singles chart. Moments before, This Morning fans confessed that they were going to switch offf their TV when Alison and Dermot 's Oasis tribute backfired. Friday's instalment of the ITV programme opened with the presenter duo dancing around to the iconic Oasis song, Wonderwall. Both wore black bucket hats and green coats, while Alison donned small, round sunglasses, mimicking Liam and Noel Gallagher. As the music played, they both threw off their coats and hats and lip-synced to the song. Dermot commented to Alison: 'You're the only person I've seen ever that looks good in a bucket hat.' She replied: 'You look really good actually.' 'Oasis fans, you can stop crying your hat out because Liam and Noel have officially decided to stop looking back in anger and are getting back together,' Dermot exclaimed. Alison added: 'After 16 years apart, today the band will finally roll with it on stage once again kicking off their first stop on their comeback tour in Cardiff which is happening tonight!' However, the pair's performance didn't impress some viewers who took to social media to share their thoughts on the Oasis tribute act. One said: '#thismorning F**k sake.' Another commented: 'Oh my f*****g god #thismorning.' 'Yeah not watching this s**t #ThisMorning,' someone else added. One viewer raged: '#thismorning are all programmes on ITV opening today with the presenters dressed as Oasis?' '@ITV why do you do this ? You pick a subject, today it's #Oasis and you rinse it across every single show on your channel. Do you not think they are making enough cash with you giving them free publicity! #ThisMorning,' another commented. However, the pair's performance didn't impress some viewers who took to social media to share their thoughts on the Oasis tribute act Though some did see the funny side and one penned, 'No way #thismorning,' followed by laughing emojis. It comes after Lorraine also opened with presenters, Ranvir Singh, Rishi Davda, Mark Heyes and Claer Barrett dressed in similar Oasis-style outfits. Ranvir commented: 'How else could we start the show today? It's a big day in music.' As the four hosts sat down, she added: 'We got a moment of what it might be like this evening as they come out to rapturous applause.'
