Full-fledged advance bookings for Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1-Sword vs Spirit have opened today across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and other parts of India.
Pawan Kalyan fans have been eagerly looking for the release of his highly anticipated Pan-Indian film Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs Spirit. The historical action epic, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna, will hit the theatres on July 24. Just a few days away from its grand release on the big screen, the makers have opened partial bookings in Andhra Pradesh.
According to BookMyShow, the partial bookings for Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs Spirit have crossed 10,000 tickets in the last 24 hours.
The full-fledged advance bookings opened on Monday across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and other parts of India. With the growing buzz, trade analysts estimate the film is expected to break records through advance bookings alone.
Adding to the excitement, the film's producers scheduled a pre-release event on July 21 in Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan will be addressing the media today for the first time in almost a decade. Due to this infrequent public appearance, the anticipation for the movie's debut has increased significantly.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit is a Telugu-language period action-adventure film. Set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, the screenplay has been written by Jagarlamudi and Sai Madhav Burra. The period action drama will feature Pawan Kalyan as criminal Veera Mallu, and Bobby Deol plays the antagonist.
The much-anticipated period action drama also brings together a stellar cast of Nidhhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi, Nargis Fakhri, Sathyaraj, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Pujita Ponnada, in important roles.
Adding to the anticipation, the background score and soundtrack were composed by the Oscar-winning and legendary composer MM Keeravani. Announced in January 2020, the film began shooting in September of the same year. After several delays, the film is finally releasing in theatres this week.
Produced by A Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Productions banner and presented by AM Rathnam, the film recently passed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) process and received a UA certificate. The final runtime of the film is 2 hours and 42 minutes, and the board has not demanded any major adjustments or cuts.

CM Punk Weighs In On Dricus Du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev: 'It'll Look Like...'
Last Updated: Punk discussed the middleweight clash between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev on August 16 in Chicago. Punk, a Chicago native, may attend with Belal Muhammed. WWE Superstar CM Punk recently weighed in on the much-anticipated middleweight clash between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev that is set to take place on August 16 at the United Centre in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The UFC returns to the Windy City after a six-year absence, and therefore it is natural of the Chicago-born Punk to have a vested interest in the event. Punk himself has fought for the promotion on two occasions. However, to call his performances lacklustre would be an understatement, as he got utterly dominated and battered by his opponents. Regardless, his celebrity status as one of the biggest names to cross-over, alongside Brock Lesnar, who enjoyed much greater success inside the octagon, is undisputed. He has also stated that he might even make an appearance at the pay-per-view. 'I'm very excited, I'm probably ultimately going to be very disappointed too because I don't know if I can go to the show, I've got to look at my calendar," Punk told Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen on the recent episode of their collaborative show, Good Guy/Bad Guy. Dissecting the fight, he remarked, 'That's going to be a wild main event, man. That's going to be (wild). It's so hard to bet against Chimaev, you know, especially after what he did to (Robert) Whittaker but I think Dricus is really really smart, probably smarter than a lot of people give him credit for. 'He knows what his game plan is going to be, he knows Chimaev is gonna come and try to dive on an ankle right out of the gate so I'm sure he's doing his preparation, that's what's going to make this so fascinating. 'I don't know if I see this making five rounds and if it does, we're probably gonna have two very tired fighters and it'll look like Derrick Lewis vs (Francis) Ngannou," Punk said. CM Punk With Belal Muhammed? Punk, continuing on the podcast stated that he might make his appearance, sharing the spotlight with the former UFC welterweight champion, Belal Muhammed. 'Brother, I'm so busy, like it's absolutely insane. I know we're in Europe for a big chunk of August but I don't think it's until the last week of August so I've got to double check. Hopefully I'll be there, I'm gonna sit next to my bud Belal," Punk added. view comments First Published: August 02, 2025, 10:09 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
