Red Velvet's Irene, Seulgi to tour Asia
Irene and Seulgi of Red Velvet will launch a tour in Asia in mid-June, announced label SM Entertainment on Monday.
The duo will host a concert in Seoul June 14-15 and will visit fans in six more cities in the region from July under the title 'Balance.' It will be the pair's first such event as a subunit. The destinations for the tour are: Singapore, Macao, Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.
The namesake subunit is poised to return next month with an EP, about five years after the first mini album 'Monster.'
Seulgi dropped second solo EP 'Accidentally On Purpose' last month and Irene brought out her first solo set 'Like A Flower' in November last year. Red Velvet celebrated tenth anniversary of debut last year woth EP 'Cosmic' which topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in 50 regions.

WayV to drop 7th EP next month
WayV is gearing up to return with its seventh EP 'Big Bands' on July 18, label SM Entertainment announced Monday. The upcoming mini album will be dropped about eight months after the group's previous EP 'Frequency,' which charted in the top five on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 19 regions and earned the band three trophies from the television music charts in Korea. The new EP will consist of six tracks, including Korean and Chinese-language versions of the title track. Soon after the album release, the band of six will launch its second concert tour, 'No Way Out.' New single from aespa nets million preorders
New single from aespa, 'Dirty Work,' received more than a million preorders, according to label SM Entertainment on Friday. The single is due out on Friday and is likely to become the group's sixth million-selling set. Its five preceding albums — second to fifth EPs 'Girls,' 'My World,' 'Drama' and 'Whiplash' as well as first LP 'Armageddon' — all accomplished the feat. The foursome will drop the hip-hop dance tune first as a digital single and next month, will roll out physical albums in limited number. Meanwhile, aespa is gearing up for its third international tour 'Synk : aeXis Line.' The tour will kick off on Aug. 29 with a three dates in Seoul. The rest of the destinations of the tour is yet to be announced, except for those in the Japan leg scheduled for October: Fukuoka, Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

NCT Dream to return in July with 5th LP
NCT Dream will be back July 14 with its fifth studio album, label SM Entertainment announced Monday. The band of seven will return with the LP 'Go Back To The Future,' a nine-track set that will portray the emotions and experiences of traveling through time with a time machine. The time travel device is likely to be a hover board — if a teaser clip for the LP is an indication — a symbolic item from the septet's debut single 'Chewing Gum.' From next week, a string of teasers will be released, and on July 9, the music video for the main track 'BTTF' will be unveiled. On the following day, the band will kick off its fourth world tour, 'Dream Show 4: Dream The Future,' in Seoul.
