Glow & Lovely empowers women influencers in new campaign
, one of India's skincare brands, has unveiled a new chapter with '
Apni Roshni Baahar La
' (Bring Out Your Inner Light), a nationwide movement designed to champion and enable the next generation of
women influencers
.
With this initiative, the brand introduces an empowering narrative — one that celebrates visibility, voice and influence of young Indian women.
At the core of this movement is
The Glow Up Academy
, a first-of-its-kind creator-upskilling platform with a bold ambition: to train and nurture one digital creator in each of India's 19,101 PIN codes.
Through structured modules, mentorship, and real-world exposure, the Academy will equip aspiring women with the skills to build personal brands, create compelling content, and thrive in the
creator economy
.
Glow and Lovely's campaign, created by
Ogilvy Mumbai
, is brought to life by a collective of women creators who exemplify the spirit of 'Apni Roshni Baahar La'.
The campaign features the journeys of creators Shehnaaz Gill, Jannat Zubair, Nabha Natesh, Larissa D'Sa, Avneet Kaur, Shreya Priyam and Chum Darang.
Each of them brings their unique story, voice and influence to the fore. Together, they represent a growing movement of women rewriting the rules of self-expression in India from metros to small towns.
Launching with a social-first film, the campaign challenges conventional definitions of what it means to be an 'influencer'.
Today's influence is not about creating content to 'fit in', it's about standing out. It isn't about just sparking attention, but about owning your story, showing up unapologetically, and building a following with purpose.
Harman Dhillon, executive director, beauty and wellbeing,
Hindustan Unilever
Limited said, 'With 'Apni Roshni Baahar La', we are reframing the definition of influence to one that is rooted in authenticity, courage and impact. We believe that every woman has the potential to build her own identity and this campaign, along with The Glow Up Academy, is our commitment to enable her and help her shine.'
Anurag Agnihotri, chief creative officer, Ogilvy India (West), added, 'This idea was born from a simple truth that every woman carries a light the world needs to see. Today, influence is not simply about her simply gaining status; it's how she uses her authentic narrative to shape culture, claim her space, and inspire others to do the same. 'Apni Roshni Baahar La' is our mirror to every woman: your light is enough, now let it lead.'
The campaign is live across Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms, supported by influencer collaborations, regional content rollouts and on-ground outreach initiatives through The Glow Up Academy.

South Indian superstar Allu Arjun is all set to take things to the next level with a massive sci-fi action film, currently titled AA22xA6 (working title). This big-ticket project marks his first collaboration with Atlee, the hitmaker behind blockbusters like Jawan, known for blending emotion with mass entertainment. With a jaw-dropping budget of Rs 800 crore, the movie is being produced by Sun Pictures, and the buzz is off the charts. One of the most exciting developments? According to reports, a famous Hollywood actor is in talks to play the villain in this movie. And it's not just any actor—it's Will Smith, the global superstar known for movies like Men in Black, I Am Legend, and The Pursuit of Happyness. If confirmed, this would mark Will Smith's first major role in an Indian film—and that too, as the main antagonist. A move that could signal a major shift in how Indian films are perceived globally. To match the scale of the cast and story, the makers are going all-in with top-tier VFX work by Hollywood studios that have previously worked on massive franchises like Avengers, Spider-Man, and Wonder Woman. The team is crafting the visuals and action with an international audience in mind. There's more. In a major update, Allu Arjun's team recently clarified that the actor will be playing double roles in the film, which has only added to the excitement. Fans can expect a high-voltage showdown between Arjun's dual characters and the Hollywood villain. The movie is also rumoured to feature a two-hero storyline, though details on the second lead are still under wraps. Joining the cast are leading Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Mrunal Thakur, bringing even more star power to an already high-profile project. Atlee, who made blockbusters like Jawan, is known for mixing strong emotions with mass action. His team-up with Allu Arjun promises a high-energy entertainer packed with emotions, scale, and spectacle. Previously, Allu Arjun shared details about AA22xA6 in an interview with News9. The actor said, 'Yes, it's my twenty-second film, it's with Atlee garu who directed Jawaan, and we have come together for it. I like the idea that he told me, and I like his aspirations, and I felt it was like mine on many levels, and we hope to bring a very new visual spectacle film to Indian cinema."
