Sandeep Reddy Vanga shares an update about his next film, Spirit, with Prabhas and Triptii Dimri. Here's what he said
Sandeep Reddy Vanga to start Spirit shoot
The filmmaker shared an update about his film during a chat with Vijay Deverakonda and filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri on the Sithara Entertainments channel on YouTube. He shared that Spirit will have back-to-back schedules and a non-stop shooting plan once it hits the floors.
Earlier this year, the film made headlines when Deepika Padukone exited the project following disagreements over working hours and compensation. At that time, Sandeep had posted a scathing note seemingly criticising actor Deepika for 'ousting' the script of Spirit. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sandeep didn't name anyone, but appeared to have slammed Deepika for "dirty PR games" and "putting down a younger actor".
Following her exit, Triptii Dimri was roped in to play the female lead opposite Prabhas. According to several reports, Sandeep has already completed the musical compositions for Spirit in collaboration with composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
Some time back, while speaking to Baradwaj Rangan for Galatta Plus YouTube channel, Sandeep reacted to dealing with the pressure of the box office, and spoke about Spirit.
When asked if he is also concerned about the economics, the filmmaker opined, 'I think because the kind of budget they are putting, I feel the producer is safe. With Prabhas and my combination along with satellite and digital rights, we can recover our budget there itself. If everything goes well with the teaser, trailer and songs pre-release and whatever we do to grab the audiences attention, opening day would be ₹150 crore. It's a trade calculation. It should be worldwide or pan-India. Easily it could be ₹150 crore in one day for a film like this if the material is good.'

Spirit marks the first-ever on-screen collaboration between Prabhas and Triptii Dimri and her second collaboration with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, producer Bhushan Kumar, and Pranay Reddy Vanga, following the success of Animal. Backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit will feature Prabhas as a fierce and intense police officer. After wrapping up Spirit, Sandeep will start the process of writing for his much-awaited project, Animal Park, on which he will once again collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor following the success of Animal.

He spent most of season 1 fighting Peacemaker, but this time his role could swing either way. Sean Gunn steps in as Maxwell Lord, a character with a shady reputation in DC lore. He appears to be connected to Justice League recruitment efforts, but fans know Lord is rarely trustworthy. Rounding out the villain squad is White Rabbit, played by Brey Noelle. Bollywood couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn's daughter Nysa Devgan is now a graduate. The star kid attended the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Montreux, Switzerland. A clip from her graduation ceremony has surfaced online on Saturday as Kajol attended her daughter's graduation and cheered loudly for her 'baby.' Nysa's graduation ceremony was telecast live on YouTube. A clip from the live session has surfaced online, featuring Nysa. Dressed in the traditional graduation robe over a lilac dress, she was spotted smiling as she walked onto the stage to receive her degree from her teachers. While some are heard cheering for her, it was Kajol who was the loudest of all. Kajol is heard screaming, "Come on baby." Even Nysa's teachers couldn't resist from passing a giggle at Kajol's excitement. Sharing the video on X, formerly Twitter, someone wrote, "Congratulations Nysa!!! (In the chaos of 100s I can actually hear Kajol's "C'mon babyyyy!!" So clearly )." Kajol's reaction immediately reminded fans of her character Anjali from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. 'She's truly the real life anjali. 'haaye… meri beti' (sic)," commented a fan. Another added, 'This is so Anjali from K3g energy.' Someone also said, 'It's the Anjali in her.' It is not known if Ajay Devgn joined Kajol and Nysa at their daughter's graduation. The Raid 2 actor is yet to post about Nysa's graduation. Nysa Devgan previously studied in Singapore at the United World College of South East Asia, before moving to Switzerland to pursue her undergraduate degree. While Nysa is Ajay and Kajol's first child, they also have a son, Yug Devgan. Yug is currently completing his school. Meanwhile, it is not certain if Nysa will make her debut in Bollywood after finishing her graduation. Kajol and Ajay have repeatedly stated that Nysa is not interested in joining the industry as of yet. Talking about Nysa, recently Kajol told Zoom: 'When I look at her, I feel, my God, she is the woman we all want to be. It is this amazing quality which today's girls have that they expect to be treated well. They expect to be treated with the same dignity. They expect good manners. If you are not there, they call you out.' "I am very proud of her. I have said that to her as well. I am proud of the fact that she carries herself with so much dignity and grace. I think it is always a test of your character when you are faced with uncomfortable situations, and how you react to them. It shows your true mettle. I am proud of my upbringing and my daughter," the actor also said.
