Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon know how to cut loose together.
It's partly why, when the opportunity to work together onscreen came up in the form of the new film The Best You Can, the pair jumped at the chance.

'I always know that when I throw the ball, he's going to throw something back,' Kyra told E! News in an exclusive interview during the premiere of their movie June 7. 'As an actor, I think you don't always know that your partner is going to do a great job acting partner, not just life partner. But knowing that it's him, I know it's going to be exciting and fun to work with him, and we're going to keep mixing it up and having a great time.'
And after 36 years of marriage, that off-camera camaraderie is easy to replicate with the camera turned on.
As Kevin explained, 'I think they call it a scene partner for a reason, because you have to, in that moment, form a sort of partnership, even if the partnership is that you're two actors who hate each other.'

'We've been partners for a really long time,' the Footloose star added. 'So, we take that life partnership and you know just kind of transfer it into our scene partnership.'
It's that life partnership, especially, that has become something admirers are clamoring to know the secret to. But as the couple love to quip, this time Kyra sharing with a laugh, 'Secret is don't take advice from celebrities about how to stay married.'for Tribeca Festival
That, and they never say no to dancing together, as seen in The Best You Can—though they have a message for viewers
'We really want to clarify,' Kevin said, 'we are playing the characters dancing. And there's a difference.'

To which Kyra added, 'And they may or may not be great dancers. So don't think, 'Oh, it's over. They've lost it. We thought they were good dancers, they're not.''
'Exactly,' Kevin said with a laugh. 'We don't want to hear how we've lost it.'
After all, with this movie making its debut at Tribeca Festival and Kevin's new series Sirens soaring to number one on Netflix, the couple haven't lost a single step.On the success of Sirens, and whether the series might get a second season, Kevin teased, 'That'd be great. I don't know what happens to old Peter, but…'
But no matter what happens with the series, he always has a supporter in Kyra.

'Oh, it's great,' the Closer alum added. 'I always love watching him. He's always fresh and different in every role.'

Lena Dunham made her TV return this week when her new series Too Much landed on Netflix. The much-anticipated rom-com series stars Hacks' Megan Stalter as New York workaholic Jessica, who moves to London after a dramatic break-up and swiftly falls for a mysterious musician, played by The White Lotus' Will Sharpe. Whether you're yet to give the series a try, or you've already sprinted through all 10 episodes, there are definitely more than a few faces on the star-studded cast list that you'll recognise. Here's where you've seen the cast of Too Much before... Too Much's lead star is best known for her breakout role as Kayla in the dark comedy Hacks. But before her TV career exploded, you might have seen her in many a viral online comedy skit. Since those early days, Megan has also landed roles in Queer As Folk, Sometimes I Think About Dying and the animated sitcom #1 Happy Family USA. She was also in the music video for Kacey Musgraves' song Simple Times along with Muna's What I Want. The White Lotus fans will instantly recognise Will Sharpe for his role as Ethan in season two of Mike White's much-hyped series. He also appeared in last year's Oscar-winning A Real Pain alongside Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg. Going back further, Will was a staple on medical drama Casualty between 2009 and 2010, playing junior doctor Yuki Reid. More recently, you might have seen him in Defending The Guilty, Giri/Haji and Flowers. As well as creating the show, Lena also appears as Nora, Jess' older sister. The multi-hyphenate writer, director, actor and producer had her breakthrough with her semi-autobiographical 2010 feature film Tiny Furniture, after which she shot to mainstream fame by directing and starring in the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Girls. As for acting, she was in Lena's 2022 movie Sharp Stick and her TV series Camping. Dean-Charles has certainly come a long way since we saw him on our screens as Tommen Baratheon on Game Of Thrones. His impressive resume also includes movies like 1917, Before I Go To Sleep, Blinded By The Light and The King. He also previously worked with Lena on her movie Catherine Called Birdy. One Of Stephen King's Most Intense Horror Movies Is Streaming On Netflix
The work of horror author Stephen King has inspired so many great films and shows over the years. Of course, it can be difficult to keep track of them all. Here's a recommendation for one intense Stephen King adaptation you may have missed on Netflix – which was directed by none other than Mike Flanagan. Flanagan has made a name for himself both on and off Netflix, having been involved with several exclusive films and shows for the streaming platform. With original titles that include Hush and Midnight Mass , Flanagan also helmed the theatrical King adaptation Doctor Sleep . As for Netflix, however, he chose to adapt a King story that was long considered impossible to film. The story has a very unique setting, one which sees its protagonist trapped in a singular area. Of course, that's a great opportunity to induce some psychological horror, as King's novel exceled in doing. Flanagan takes those concepts and somehow makes it all work for a cinematic interpretation. The Mike Flanagan Netflix film based on the Stephen King novel, Gerald's Game , revolves around Carla Gugino's Jessie Burlingame and her husband, Gerald, played by Bruce Greenwood. The two take a vacation at an isolated lake house. During their time there, however, the two decide to spice up their relationship with a game of bondage, which leaves Jessie cuffed to their bed. One thing leads to another and Gerald suffers a heart attack, with Jessie forced to survive as she battles her inner demons and some that may be more real than she suspects. Mike Flanagan directed Gerald's Game from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jeff Howard based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. The cast includes Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Carel Struycken, Henry Thomas, and Kate Siegel. Madea's Destination Wedding is the twelfth official movie in the comedy franchise that first launched nearly two decades ago, with Diary of a Mad Black Woman in 2005. If you're thinking that must mean that Perry's signature character—the tough matriarch of the family known as Madea—must be getting up there in age, you'd be right. These days, Madea is a grandmother. Like many grandmothers, she doesn't like to travel. So she's not too happy to learn that her nephew Brian (also played by Perry) wants her to attend the surprise, destination wedding between his daughter Tiffany (Diamond White) and a rapper she just met in the Bahamas. But family always come first. Madea's Destination Wedding certainly sounds like a movie that would be filmed in an exotic location, right? But expensive, destination productions is not the way Perry rolls. Read on to learn more about where Madea's Destination Wedding was actually filmed. Despite the title of the film, Madea's Destination Wedding was filmed, for the most part, on a set in Atlanta, Georgia at Tyler Perry Studios. Perry is known for his lightning-fast, breakneck productions with sometimes controversial labor practices, in order to shoot his movies in a matter of days. Madea's Destination Wedding seems to be no exception. The entire Atlanta production took place from January 15 to 26, 2024, according to a report from The Atlanta Journal-Constution. If you're wondering why so much of a movie that takes place in the Bahamas is set indoors—that's why! That said, there were a few additional shooting dates that took place in the Dominican Republic, which doubled as the Bahamas for several of the exterior scenes in the movie. Some scenes were shot on location at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas, for a few key beautiful shots in the film. So there you have it! Madea might be in the Bahamas, but, for the most part, Netflix viewers of the film will be staying in Atlanta.
