Rumours of
Stats gurus say the France international would be the perfect fit for the Blues, because he is excellent with his feet as well as top class in most other aspects of goalkeeping.
Meanwhile, big clubs around the world are aware that

Chelsea, Manchester United and
But in the Blues' case, the answer is probably five. Aside from the biggish transfer fee that PSG would want, Donnarumma's £300,000-per-week wages just would not fit into the Chelsea owners' blueprint.
Deals to bring in defender
But the big question is whether Maresca and the Blues are willing to put their faith in Sanchez for another season.

Chelsea have been holding out for up to £40m for the 21-year-old, who has also attracted interest from
Chukwuemeka is clear that he only wants a move back to Dortmund, but they are only considering a loan at this stage - something which is not as attractive to Chelsea.
This has resulted in somewhat of an impasse in talks, something which looks like it could take a while to get past.
Someone is going to have to budge.
BLUE IT
THERE was excitement among Chelsea fans - and supporters of other clubs were furious - when reports went round of the club's owners investing another £339m.
But what sounded like a substantial transfer warchest was in fact another bit of sensible accountancy.
For a start the actual figure Stamford Bridge chiefs put into the club by means of the June 30 share issue was just over £339,000.
In layman's terms, millions of new shares in Chelsea FC Holdings were created and bought by Blueco 22 Midco, one of the firms through which the owners control the club.

Why? 339k does not get you much in football these days.
But the date of the transaction is significant - the final day of the Blues' financial year.
Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules allow clubs to lose an average of £35m per season or a maximum of £105m over each three-season reporting period.
But that limit is only £5m per season (£15m in total) unless owners put new money in the form of equity (not loans) into the club every year.
Chelsea bosses did the same thing on June 29 2024, just before the end of that financial reporting period.
So this year's share issue wasn't to fund the big spending of the summer.
It was simply to give Chelsea the biggest amount of leeway possible for PSR purposes, which they are likely to need BECAUSE of the outlay on transfers.
BLUE SKIES
CHELSEA stars have flooded social media with photos from their glamorous vacations.
Player of the season Moises Caicedo picked up another award while back in his native Ecuador.
The country's parliament presented Caicedo with the Vicente Rocafuerte medal, the highest civilian honour for sporting excellence, in recognition for his role in Chelsea's Club World Cup win.
But the most heartwarming snaps came from club captain

TICKET WOES
SOME Chelsea fans have been left furious at the club's new ticketing system, with many unable even to get close to attending the first game of the season vs
The new system, in partnership with Ticketmaster, has been controversial since its introduction, but has now left fans wishing they could get a refund for the £60 'premium' membership they bought before the season began.
True Blue member Aadam told the Chelsea Files: 'The new Chelsea ticketing system is a joke.
'I had 136 points last season, went to loads of games including the final in Poland, but didn't even get a shot at a Palace ticket.

'At least with the old system, there was a chance, and now even my mate with a season ticket can't help out on the new system.
'Total shambles and I wish I could get a refund for my £60 membership!'
But other supporters said they liked the new system, which puts all members trying to buy tickets into a queue and gives them a number in that queue that gives a good indication of their chances of getting anything.
The process favours the more casual fan who can't afford to attend every home game but wants the opportunity to buy a few tickets per season.
But the queue of 10s of thousands trying to buy a ticket for the Palace game underlines the wider issue: Chelsea badly need a bigger stadium, and the sooner the better.
BADGE SHORTAGE
MORE frustration for supporters came in the Chelsea Megastore.
On Monday, some fans turned up at the Stamford Bridge shop hoping to buy the Club World Cup Winners patch for their shirts.
But the item was sold out.
Hopefully, the Blues have enough of them to make sure the men's first team can at least wear them with pride.

The Under-21 side who donned the new kit for the friendly at Bromley did not have the patch on their shirts.
It is unclear whether Enzo Maresca's senior team will have the badge of honour for the friendlies against Bayer Levekusen and AC Milan, or wait until the first Premier League game against Crystal Palace.

‘It's about time' – Dublin's All-Ireland team arrive in Smithfield for first-ever ladies' homecoming celebration

The Dublin team arrived on stage to the huge cheers from a sea of blue as they held the Brendan Martin Cup trophy aloft on stage. Dublin won their seventh All-Ireland ladies title in front of a crowd of more than 48,000 people at Croke Park on Sunday. Speaking to the Irish Independent, Dublin captain, Carla Rowe, said tonight's celebration marked the first dedicated homecoming for the Dublin ladies' team. 'It's the first-ever homecoming for a ladies' team by itself, which is absolutely amazing. So we're gonna just soak it all in, and whatever comes our way, we're gonna enjoy it. "We're all together, and we have our friends, our partners and our families close by us, so we're just enjoying every moment while we can,' she added. "It means a lot to be here and share it, even with young girls and boys who are coming up and show them that this is achievable for so many of them. "That's the kind of role model status that you want to get back to the city of Dublin. And we're just so delighted that we can do that this year. 'We're so excited for the next weeks and months to come, and we've been just enjoying the last few days and soaking it in,' she added. Dublin manager, Paul Casey, said it was 'fantastic' to see the support of loyal Blues' fans. "It's the cherry on top of the cake for the girls after all their hard work they put in,' he said. "It's great for them to have an evening out like this, where their supporters get to come out and show their appreciation for what the girls have been doing in the county over the last number of months. "To get to win on Sunday was fantastic, so we're delighted for the girls. We're delighted to be here. It's a privileged position,' he added. The celebration, hosted by MC and RTÉ presenter Blathnaid Treacy, was initially planned yesterday, but was rescheduled due to bad weather. Families gathered for this evening's homecoming and were entertained by music, dancing and face-painting. Air cannons fired football jerseys into the crowd to huge cheers. Announcing the team on stage just before 7pm, Dublin Lord Mayor, Ray McAdam said the ladies team 'have made our city and our county proud'. "This is also a historic night, because this is the first time Dublin City Council and the Lord Mayor have hosted a dedicated homecoming celebration for the Dublin ladies football champions. It's about time,' he said. "It's a fitting way to celebrate every member of this squad who has achieved so much on the pitch and has represented our city and our county so well over the last number of years. "They are inspiring the young girls and the young boys here before us, and they are going to be the future of Dublin in Croke Park over the years ahead. "Members of this team have shown that with heart, with commitment and with dedication, you can achieve anything. So all of you, young boys and girls, bear that in mind.'

F1 team take action against broadcaster as pundit declares 'they don't like us'

Aston Martin have reportedly decided to refrain from giving interviews to Sky Germany due to what they perceive as recent negative coverage of the team, according to Express Sport. This comes in the wake of alleged biased reporting from the broadcaster. As per a report from German newspaper BILD, Aston Martin declined Sky Germany's request to interview their chief trackside officer, Mike Krack, ahead of the Hungarian GP. Team owner Lawrence Stroll also turned down an opportunity for a live on-air chat. Ralf Schumacher explained the situation to viewers, stating: "I know they're not giving us any more interviews because they don't like us that much at the moment." Co-pundit Peter Hardenacke provided further insight, admitting: "We were a bit too critical of the people at Aston Martin,". Express Sport has learned that Aston Martin have restricted the broadcaster's access to drivers and team personnel for the time being, pending more balanced reporting. Discussions between the two parties are ongoing with the aim of resolving the matter, reports the Express. Despite the lack of exclusive interviews, Sky Germany will still be able to interact with Aston Martin team members during the open media sessions held on Thursdays in the paddock. Schumacher made harsh comments about Lance Stroll after the British GP (Image: Getty) Aston Martin has responded following harsh remarks from Schumacher about driver Lance Stroll after the British Grand Prix. "It's the worst piece of s**t I've ever driven in my life, to be honest," the Canadian told race engineer Gary Gannon. "But it's okay. Seventh." Sky Germany pundit Schumacher was quick to criticise these comments. "I have to say, this statement is very disappointing, and quite honestly, it's a question of manners," he said on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast. "You have to consider the external impact. The mechanics who work tirelessly so that the two can race - and then the boss's son comes along and says: 'Wonderful, and with such a crappy car.' I have to say, that's completely unacceptable, that's an absolute no-go "I would hope that at the next race, he goes and apologises. It's just a shame, unspeakable, and it indicates a poor upbringing. "I don't know what film he thinks he's starring in, but such statements diminish his own results. "These are important points, after all. One mustn't forget: These are also significant bonuses for the mechanics and the like. And when someone then ruins it like that - quite honestly, you have to say: Grade F, dear Lance - and apologise to the team.".
