Named as 'Edition' models – although Audi hasn't disclosed how many of each will be available for customers – the three limited-run models are in Australian showrooms now.

The additional gear includes a black-themed exterior with black 17-inch 'polygon' alloy wheels, black grille surround and front badging – while there's an S line exterior front and rear bumpers, side sills and a more aggressive roof-mounted rear spoiler.

Lotus denies plans to close UK factory
British sports car maker Lotus has denied reports it is considering closing its only UK plant, and shifting to the US. Multiple publications, including the BBC, Automotive News and the Financial Times, are reporting Lotus is contemplating closing its plant in Hethel, about 20 minutes south of Norwich. Lotus and parent Geely initially refused to comment on the reports, but on Saturday Lotus put out an official press statement: 'Lotus Cars is continuing normal operations, and there are no plans to close the factory. We are actively exploring strategic options to enhance efficiency and ensure global competitiveness in the evolving market. 'We have invested significantly in R&D and operations in the UK, over the past six years. Lotus remains committed to the UK, and its customers, employees, dealers, suppliers, as well as its proud British heritage.' The company also said 'the UK is the heart of the Lotus brand', while also noting the UK is its 'largest commercial market in Europe'. Former Jaguar design chief launches A$160,000 Mini restomod
Ian Callum, the design chief of Jaguar until 2019, has teamed up with coachbuilders Wood & Pickett for a Mini restomod. Based on the Mk5 Mini Sportspack built from 1997 until the original car's demise in 2001, the restomod includes wide Wood & Pickett wheel arches, and new side sills. The front and rear valences under the bumpers have been redesigned for improved cooling. Both the head- and tail-lights have been upgraded to LED units, with new graphics at both ends.
