According to media reports, around 400 guests attended the extravagant wedding ceremony, which went viral on the internet after video of the event, showing the bride and the groom, as well as the 'baraatis', dancing to popular Bollywood numbers on Wall Street.
Another notable thing about the event which stood out was that even non-Indian guests had donned traditional Indian party attires, giving the ceremony a uniquely Indian look, as if it was taking place somewhere in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, or any other Indian metro city.

As per media reports, Wall Street can be rented for $11,000 with proper permits, while the cost of blocking each area in the vicinity ranges between $25,000 to $60,000. These included roads, sidewalks and alleyways in New York's bustling Financial District, commonly known as the Wall Street.
With over 400 guests, the event had the typical vibe of an extravagant Indian wedding procession, with the New York Mayor's Office describing it as an 'extra large' event. Who was the bride?
Varun Navani married Amanda Soll, a risk–management legal compliance director at MasterCard, in a grand wedding at the Wall Street, which has earned him the moniker 'The groom of Wall Street', a play on words of the famous Hollywood flick 'The Wolf of Wall Street' starring Leonardo Di Caprio.
According to reports, Amanda was draped in a red Sabyasachi lehenga, looking very much like an Indian bride, as her friends and family attended the key event. Meanwhile, Varun had donned a stylish ivory sherwani, and made his entry in a vintage white car accompanied by groomsmen.

The movie's momentum seems to have faded after a promising start. As per early estimates by trade analyst Sacnilk, the film managed to collect only Rs 28 lakh on its ninth day, marking its lowest single-day figure so far. Box office trends The film, which hit theatres on July 24, opened to massive expectations, especially with Pawan Kalyan taking on a full-fledged period role and the makers branding it as his first pan-Indian film. While the opening weekend brought in decent numbers, the collection has steadily declined since the weekdays began. In the first week, the movie opened powerfully with Rs 34.75 crore on day 1, but sharp drops followed. Collections slumped to Rs 8 crore on the second day and fluctuated around Rs 9-10 crore through the weekend before falling further during weekdays. The total earnings for the first week stood at Rs 80.86 crore, but the second week hasn't seen much traction. A Grammy Award winner and a Grand Ole Opry member since 1967, Seely was celebrated for her trailblazing contributions to country music and for her warmth, wit, and on July 6, 1940, in Titusville, Pennsylvania, Seely began her musical journey at just 11 years old, performing on local radio. After a stint in California working with Liberty and Imperial Records, she moved to Nashville and signed with Monument Records. Her 1966 breakout single, 'Don't Touch Me', written by her then-future husband Hank Cochran, earned her a Grammy Award and propelled her to national fame. The couple married in 1969, but their relationship ended in divorce in 1981. Years later, Seely found love again with Eugene H. Ward, a Nashville-based attorney. The two had known each other for years through the Donelson Chamber of Commerce and eventually tied the knot in November 2010. He married his fifth wife, Suzi, and they were married until his death in 2010. Prior to his relationship with Seely, Cochran had three sons which Seely helped to raise. Cochran underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer in July 2008 and a second surgery for an aortic aneurysm in April 2010. His health declined, and he died on July 15, 2010, at 74. Later, Seely married Eugene H. Ward, a Nashville-based attorney and former Vice President and Legal Counsel at the Nashville Electric Service. The couple tied the knot at Two Rivers Mansion in Nashville in November who had represented NES before both the Tennessee General Assembly and the US Congress, passed away from cancer in December 2024 at the age of a heartfelt statement following his passing, Seely told People magazine:'My heart is broken now, but I am so grateful for the 15 years I had with Gene… My love and respect for him grew daily, and it continues as I learn how much he touched the lives of so many people.'The two had known each other for many years, serving together on the Donelson Chamber of Commerce, and only later developed a romantic never had biological children of her own but embraced the role of stepmother and grandmother. She remained close to Cochran's sons and later helped raise Eugene Ward's children and had three children from a prior marriage: Judy Olive, Keven Ward, and Johnny Myers. Seely once described becoming a grandmother as a joyful and unexpected gift in her Seely celebrated 55 years as a Grand Ole Opry member in 2022 and continued making music until shortly before her death. In 2024, she released the single 'Suffertime' and was reportedly working on more material, highlighting her lifelong passion for country music.
