Bad Bunny announces world tour following sold-out residency in Puerto Rico
The Grammy-winning singer announced new shows Monday, via a short clip on Instagram that featured his animated concho frog exclaiming, 'at last!' before shooting off his paper plane into the ether.
The 23-date stadium tour will kick off Nov. 21 in the Dominican Republic, followed by shows in Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina.
The 31-year-old singer will also stop in Brazil, Australia and Japan, and will return to Europe for the first time since his 2019 'X 100pre' Tour.
News of this world tour comes two months before the trap-reggaeton star embarks on his sold-out residency, 'No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí,' this summer at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum of Puerto Rico, better known locally as 'el Choliseo.'
Upon its release earlier this year, his critically-acclaimed sixth studio album, 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos,' spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and has remained in the top 10 albums for the subsequent 13 weeks.
Bad Bunny has kept busy since the release of 'DTmF,' appearing in a steamy Calvin Klein Underwear spring campaign and performing on NPR's Tiny Desk concert series. The 'Baile Inolvidable' singer is also slated to be the musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' on May 17 to close out the show's milestone 50th season. He will also also appear on-screen in Netflix's 'Happy Gilmore 2' and Darren Aronofsky's film 'Caught Stealing,' which will hit theaters Aug. 29.
His last tour, the 2024 'Most Wanted' tour, grossed over $208 million, selling over 700,000 tickets, according to Pollstar. His Puerto Rican residency has sold over 400,000, both online and through in-person sales.

Sterling K Brown Chooses Black Women As Love Interests
Sterling K. Brown knows the importance of representation. In an interview with Refinery29, the Emmy-winning star spoke candidly about regularly having Black women play his love interests — a decision he says is very intentional. Sterling has appeared in over 70 TV and movie projects — and often with a Black love interest by his side — whether that's Susan Kelechi Watson in This Is Us or Teri Rogers-Collins in Paradise. When asked whether he makes those casting decisions "consciously," Sterling confirmed he does. "I'm aware of the sort of Eurocentric standards of beauty that tend to predominate media," he explained. "Light-skin oftentimes is seen as more beautiful than dark-skin, etc. and Brown wants to be someone that sort of shows all of the beauty that is Blackness, right?" He continued, "Brown don't discriminate, to be perfectly honest with you. I understand the power of representation and how often Black women seem to feel unseen by Black men, in particular. And there's so many sisters that are waiting for brothers to be like, 'Hey, man, I'm here for you and whatnot.' And brothers sometimes don't tend to see them." Sterling, who's married IRL to fellow actor Ryan Michelle Bathe, said he's hoping to change that narrative through his casting choices. "I want them to know that SKB sees them," he explained, "and hopefully in the people that he chooses to be paired with onscreen or whatnot, there's an appreciation for them and that they know that they are as beautiful as I know they are." Sterling's comments were met with widespread praise online, with many commending him for using his platform to uplift Black women in such an intentional way. One person wrote, "Well, ok Sterling flips hair over shoulder." Another said in part, "Yes , thank you ! good for himWay too often , its a light skin if not white love interest in tv and movies." Another comment read, "Love him he makes a great point, I think the first time I saw a dark skinned black woman treated as a beauty was the original Vivian in fresh prince, she was stunning." Someone else said, "Ok. I'm in love." "Truly appreciate this from Sterling, representations matters," a fifth fan said, as someone else gushed, "He's perfect." Yes, Sterling!! ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' Star Lucy Finally Comes to ‘Guilty Gear Strive'
Fans of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime have been looking forward to seeing Lucy cut it up in Guilty Gear Strive as a DLC character for a while now. During this weekend's EVO tournament, Arc System Works finally pulled back the curtain on how everyone's favorite living Edgerunner fits into its fighting game. Lucy's appearance here looks to be justified through her mind being hacked and transferred to the Guilty Gear universe. Still dealing with the events of Edgerunners that left her old crew dead, she's determined to figure out why she's here and how to get back home. Until she finds those answers, she's got some tricks to hold her own against Sol Badguy and the rest of the Strive roster. Gameplay-wise, her she's got her wrist whips, and her hacking prowess lets her disable her enemy's powers while boosting her own, which is a neat way to adapt her style for fighting game purposes. For the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fans, playing as Lucy in competitive or the story mode looks to feature some callbacks to the show. She's the first guest character to grace Guilty Gear Strive (and the series overall, looks like) and funnily enough, its second consecutive anime addition. Before her, Arc System Works added Unika from the game's anime series Dual Riders to the roster this past May. Lucy enters Guilty Gear Strive on August 21, and we'll wait to see if she graces Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II with her presence when that series hits Netflix in the near future. Want more io9 news? No Season 3 for 'FUBAR' on Netflix

Deadline, and The Hollywood Reporter reported the news Friday. True Lies and Terminator icon Schwarzenegger played CIA operative Luke Brunner on the show. Season 2, which premiered in June, saw Luke facing his past and trying to catch the super-villain Greta Nelso (Carrie-Anne Moss). The cast also included Fabiana Udenio, Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Andy Buckley and Jay Baruchel.
