, in a recent interview, talked about her initial days in the film industry when she was not a popular face. Calling it a "difficult phase," the actress shared that she had to audition every single time to get a role.

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, the actress recalled facing remarks that hurt and made her lose confidence. Nimrat revealed that at times, she used to question if she was worthy enough. The 'Dasvi' actress said she gulped down comments like, "You don't look good enough. You're not tall enough. You're not fair enough.' All those 'not enoughs.' Your nose is too long."
She went on to say, "Many times, it hurt me. I used to feel like maybe I'm not good enough."
First job and struggle
During the conversation, Nimrat mentioned that after moving to Mumbai in 2004, she used to go door to door and office to office handing out her portfolio. However, she was rejected. The actress added that after 85 to 90 auditions and rejections, she got her first job.
However, Kaur didn't give up, as she knew her potential. She said, "Every time I felt like I didn't have the strength to step, something nice would happen.' That kept her going.
The actress expressed that a single "positive" thing was enough at that moment to prevent breaking her spirit.
