Tennessee baseball year-by-year home run totals under Tony Vitello
Tennessee (46-19, 16-14 SEC) ended its 2025 baseball season with a fifth consecutive appearance in a NCAA Tournament super regional. The Vols also appeared in its sixth consecutive regional under eighth-year head coach Tony Vitello.
Tennessee finished the 2025 season with 131 home runs to its opponent's 69 home runs. The Vols also hit 45 home runs in regular-season SEC competition, three more than their opponents (42).
Andrew Fischer led Tennessee in home runs with 25. Gavin Kilen (15), Dalton Bargo (14), Dean Curley (14), Reese Chapman (13), Cannon Peebles (11), Levi Clark (10) and Hunter Ensley (10) hit 10-plus home runs in 2025.
Stone Lawless (5), Chris Newstrom (5), Blake Grimmer (4), Manny Marin (3), Jay Abernathy (1) and Hunter High (1) also recorded home runs in 2025 for the Vols.

With Ward and his group of young receivers putting in the extra work, it is easy to see why they have been one of the more exciting units to watch early in training camp. The interview also highlights the increased leadership role Ridley is assuming this offseason, a trend that has been emerging more frequently during player interviews. That dedication bodes well for the Titans' offense, which is looking to surprise teams in 2025. Four LSU football players make Phil Steele's First-Team All-SEC squad
LSU football boasts one of the most talented rosters in college football, which is reflected in Phil Steele's All-SEC predictions. Steele, the author of Phil Steele's College Football 25 Preview, included four Tigers on his First-Team All-SEC roster. On offense, Garrett Nussmeier headlines the group with Steele giving Nussmeier the nod over Arch Manning and LaNorris Sellers. Nussmeier was joined by one of his top pass catchers -- dynamic slot wide receiver Aaron Anderson. Top LSU football recruiting target reveals decision date. Will LSU land the five-star?
One of LSU football's top recruiting targets revealed a decision date. Darius Gray, a five-star offensive lineman, will commit on August 22. Gray's five finalists are LSU, Tennessee, Ohio State, Clemson, and South Carolina. LSU and South Carolina are considered the front-runners for Gray's services. According to the Rivals' Prediction Machine, LSU is the favorite with a 51.1% chance to land Gray. South Carolina is No. 2 with a 32.5% shot at Gray. Per the Rivals' Industry Rankings, Gray is a five-star and the No. 1-ranked interior offensive lineman in the class of 2026. 247Sports is the highest on Gray, slotting the Virginia product as the No. 16 overall recruit. ESPN isn't quite as high on Gray, placing him No. 73 overall. LSU and offensive line coach Brad Davis have already secured four offensive line commitments in the class of 2026. Gray would be the fifth and the highest-ranked of the bunch. The top-ranked offensive lineman already in the fold is four-star tackle Brysten Martinez, the No. 9-ranked tackle in the class. LSU is contending for the No. 1-ranked recruiting class in 2026. The Tigers' class is loaded at the top, but Brian Kelly and staff are still looking to add volume. Landing Gray would keep LSU in the race for the top class.
