AP Dhillon and Tara Sutaria may have turned up the heat with their sizzling chemistry in the song Thodi Si Daaru but the Internet has something else to say about its music. While the song has everything required to make it a hit – catchy beats, stunning visuals and undeniable chemistry, a section of social media has drawn unexpected parallels to the iconic theme song of Shinchan, the popular cartoon.
It all started when an Instagram user shared a side-by-side video of Thodi Si Daaru and the Hindi theme song of Shinchan, titled Mera Naam Bhi Shinchan Hai. The result? Instant chaos. The caption of the video read, 'Same same but different."

One user couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance and wrote, 'Bas 19-20 ka farak hai (There are just slight differences)." Another suggested a new name for the singer: 'AP Chan." Seemingly disappointed, a user added, 'Shameful." Another took a dig, saying, 'Even a legendary singer like Shreya Ghoshal can't save a bad song like that." Then came the classic roast as an account wrote, 'Every masterpiece has its own cheap copy."
AP Dhillon's fans defended him. 'They are calling every other song copied," said one follower. Another added, 'I don't care, I love the song's vibe." Someone else joined in, writing,'Haters hate. Art goes on."
Thodi Si Daaru features lyrics by Shinda Kahlon and music by AP Dhillon and Luca Mauti,. The music video was released just weeks after rumours of Tara Sutaria and AP Dhillon's real-life romance surfaced online following their casual outing in Mumbai together.
However, some reports suggest otherwise. According to ETimes, Tara is rumoured to be dating Sky Force actor Veer Pahariya. A source told the portal, 'The two began dating only a few months ago. And they're trying to figure things out. They frequently go out on dates."
On the work front, Tara earlier won hearts with her chemistry with Ishaan Khatter in the song Pyaar Aata Hai, which was sung by Shreya Ghoshal as well.
