Kylie Page, a well-known face in the adult film industry and a Netflix reality show alum, died on June 25 at the age of 28 in Los Angeles. The actor, whose real name was Kylie Pylant, was found unresponsive at her Hollywood home. Emergency responders were alerted by a concerned friend who called 911, but by the time help arrived, she had already passed.
According to TMZ, law enforcement officials suspect a drug overdose. Fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia were reportedly found at the scene. While an official cause of death is still pending, foul play is not suspected.
Her death has sparked an outpouring of grief across the adult entertainment community. Production house Brazzers, which frequently collaborated with Kylie, said in a statement, 'Kylie will be remembered for her laughter, kindness and bringing light wherever she went. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and fans."
Kylie Page entered the adult film industry in 2016 and quickly rose to prominence, featuring in more than 200 scenes. She worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Brazzers, Vixen Media Group and Naughty America.
Her untimely death raises concerns regarding the growing number of overdose-related fatalities in the entertainment industry. Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid 50 times more potent than heroin, has been responsible for the deaths of several public figures in recent years.
Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that is used medically to treat severe pain, especially after surgery or in advanced cancer cases. It is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and about 100 times more potent than morphine. While pharmaceutical fentanyl is legally prescribed in controlled settings, illicitly manufactured fentanyl has become a leading cause of overdose deaths worldwide. Even a tiny amount, just two milligrams, can be fatal, especially when mixed with other drugs or unknowingly consumed in counterfeit pills.
