Gregg Wallace claims he has been cleared of misconduct allegations
The 60-year-old stepped away from hosting the BBC cooking competition, after a number of historical complaints came to light last year, which led to the external investigation by the show's production company, Banijay UK.

A BBC News investigation reported that 13 people alleged Wallace had made inappropriate sexual comments across a range of shows over a 17-year period.
The production firm previously said Wallace is 'committed to fully co-operating' with the external review while his lawyers have previously strongly denied 'he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature', according to BBC News.

In a statement posted on his Instagram account on Tuesday, he said: 'I have taken the decision to speak out ahead of the publication of the Silkins (sic) report – a decision I do not take lightly.
'After 21 years of loyal service to the BBC, I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others.

'I have now been cleared by the Silkins (sic) report of the most serious and sensational accusations made against me.
'The most damaging claims (including allegations from public figures which have not been upheld) were found to be baseless after a full and forensic six-month investigation.'
BBC spokesperson said: 'Banijay UK instructed the law firm Lewis Silkin to run an investigation into allegations against Gregg Wallace. We are not going to comment until the investigation is complete and the findings are published.'
Banijay UK declined to comment on Wallace's comments.

Superman film age classification card designed by Eastbourne girl
An East Sussex teenager has designed the age classification card that UK cinemas will show before screenings of the new Superman from Eastbourne, submitted artwork to a competition seeking a replacement for the traditional black card displaying the film's 12A age winning the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) contest, she met the film's stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult. It was quite a big thing, which I didn't even realise until I found out I won, she told the BBC. The mega-fan, who said she had "probably" seen Superman films at least 50 times, also attended a fan preview of the new movie, which hits UK cinemas on Friday. Elsie's mum Liz said the family was "really proud" that her daughter's work had received recognition."I've only seen pictures but I can't wait to see the actual film and see it in real life," she said."I think I might possibly start crying."

Injured kittens found abandoned in four areas in Douglas
Four kittens have been found injured and abandoned in four separate locations across the Manx capital. The animals were found by a bank on Athol Street, near Tesco on Lake Road, on Kensington Road and at Shaws Brow Car Park in Douglas last month, police said. Issuing an "urgent appeal" the Isle of Man Constabulary said "the circumstances surrounding how they came to be injured remain unclear".It appealed to any residents who "may have seen anything unusual or concerning" at the different locations between 12:30 and 15:00 BST on 16 June to come forward. A spokesman said: "Even the smallest piece of information or footage from a dashcam could assist with our enquiries."As "no specific cause has been confirmed" they would be "keeping an open mind as to what may have happened", he added.
