American Muslims For Palestine (AMP) Chair Hatem Bazian At 2023 Muslim American Society (MAS) Conference: Atheists Like 'Islamophobic Bully' And 'Coward' Bill Maher And Author Sam Harris Mock Oppresse
"It is not satire, it is not comedy, it is not funny when you pile on those who are being beaten down," Bazian said. He emphasized that "satire, comedy, and funny is to punch up to those in power," not "pile down on those who are being beaten down, stepped upon, and bombed." Bazian concluded: "Bill Maher, you are a coward" and "an Islamophobic bully."
Hatem Bazian: "Some parts of the political left, or what we call the interventionist left, or the atheist movement, that is represented by Bill Maher, as one of the figures that never misses an opportunity to be an Islamophobe. He brings with him often on his HBO show that is beamed to people... He brings Sam Harris. They think that they are two white men engaging in 'sophisticated' racist talk about Muslims.
"We need to say that there is no way for you to have a comedy [show] on the back of the dispossessed, on the back of those who are being afflicted with Islamophobia. Now let me be very clear. It is not satire, it is not comedy, it is not funny when you pile on those who are being beaten down.
"You are not actually funny or satirical if you are punching down on those who are being stepped upon and bombed. It is not funny nor satirical to go after individuals who are marginalized in society. Satire, comedy, and funny is to punch up to those in power. Bill Maher, you are a coward, because you are piling on those who are being oppressed. There is nothing funny in amplifying Islamophobia.
"There is nothing funny about thinking that you make satire of those who have faced 60,000 tons of bombing in Gaza. You think [you're] funny? Look at yourself in the mirror. I challenge you to punch up and speak truth to power, if you are satirical, rather than punching down to those who are being dispossessed and marginalized. This is what we call: Bill Maher, you are an Islamophobic bully. Bill Maher, you are an Islamophobic bully. We need to understand that."

Atlanta Imam Dawud Mahdi: America Is 'Not the Big Dog Anymore,' the Judeo-Christian Ideology Just Doesn't Work – Islam Will Prevail and Achieve Dominance; Zionists Control Everything in the World but
Atlanta imam Dawud Mahdi said in a lecture at Masjid Al‑Mu'minun in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 11, 2025, that Muslims do not 'turn the other cheek,' that the Quran teaches them to fight, and that they must stand up to oppression. He said that Islam does not seek dominance, but rather it is a perfect lifestyle that will prevail and achieve dominance, as shown by the rapid growth of Islam in the world. Mahdi also said that America is 'not the big dog anymore,' that it is being recognized as the bully that it is, and that its Judeo‑Christian ideologies do not work. In addition, he said that the Islamic nation has 'failed miserably' by having allowed the Zionists, whose numbers are small, to control 'everything in the world,' but added that it is 'not too late.'

Colorado Imam Karim Abu Zaid In Illinois: The West Invented The Notion Of 'Abrahamic' Faiths To Legitimize Israel In The Region; If Jews Want To Follow Moses, They Should Also Follow Jesus And Muhamma
Colorado‑based imam Dr. Karim Abu Zaid said in a Friday, July 4, 2025 sermon at the Islamic Community Center of Des Plaines, Illinois that the Western world has realized the Middle East revolves around faith and religion, and that the Zionist State of Israel has been planted in a region of Muslims and Christians. This led them, he said, to "blend" Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and "spices" from other faiths to create what he called the "Abrahamic faith." Abu Zaid stated that Muslims are not like the Western world and that tolerance does not mean compromising their belief system in order to appear tolerant. He added that Muslims are the true followers of Moses, not the Jews, and that if the Jews want to be among the true followers of Moses, they should follow Jesus and then the Prophet Muhammad. Karim Abu Zaid: "The Western world realized that the conflict in the Middle East is based on religion. They realized that faith is the shaker of this part of the world. People believe in something there. Now, we inserted a body called the Zionist State of Israel within that environment. You've got Christians and Muslims... These are Zionists. [...] "[They said:] 'Let us come up with something that can be put together.' Like let's put Islam, Christianity, Judaism in a mixture and blend them together, and maybe add some spices here and there, some Buddhism, some Hinduism, and produce something called the Abrahamic faith. [...] "We are not like you. [...] "Tolerance, being tolerant, is in the area of treating people, interacting with people justly and fairly. But I'm sorry, I cannot compromise my belief system in order to appear tolerant to you. [...] "And you've got Muslim countries who are engaged in this conspiracy. Brothers and sisters in Islam – the Abraham Accords, the normalization, you hear that going over and over again... It will not sell, brothers and sisters in Islam. [...] "We are the true followers of Moses, not them. If the [Jews] want to be amongst those followers of Moses, they should follow Jesus and then Muhammad."

Illinois Sermon By Professor Emeritus At Western Illinois University, Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi: Why Are The '185,000 Jews Who Were Killed In Germany By The Nazis' Still Remembered, While Anyone In
Dr. Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi, Professor Emeritus of Journalism and Public Relations at Western Illinois University (WIU) in Macomb, Illinois, delivered the Friday sermon as a guest speaker at the Al‑Aqsa Community Center on July 11, 2025. In his sermon, Siddiqi claimed that anyone in America who raises their voice about what he alleged to be more than 186,000 Palestinians killed by Israel is subject to arrest and deportation. Siddiqi further asserted that while "the 185,000 Jews who were killed in Germany by the Nazis" are still remembered, this was over the course of seven years, whereas, he claimed, 186,000 Muslim Palestinians were killed in seven months. Dr. Siddiqi is an interfaith leader and a founding member of the World Council for Muslim Interfaith Relations (WCMIR), and he is the founder and former president of the Islamic Center of Macomb. Dr. Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi: "Why did it happen that the 185,000 Jews who were killed in Germany by the Nazis – they are still remembered, and 186,000 Muslims... Those 185,000 Jews were killed in seven years, and in seven months Israel has killed more than 186,000 Palestinians. In this country, you cannot raise your voice. [If you do], you are being deported, you are being arrested."
