Gamers warned their passwords could be STOLEN after installing brand new title – simple mistake could cost you thousands

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN URGENT warning has gone out to gamers after a alleged scam to rob players of thousands of pounds was uncovered. Malware has reportedly been uploaded to a popular game on Steam, which could give hackers full access to your personal information. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 An urgent warning has gone out to gamers after Malware was uploaded to a Steam game Credit: Supplied 2 The malware allows hackers to access your device at any time Credit: Getty A hacker - known as EncryptHub - has eportedly compromised a game on the online platform Steam, which now installs info-stealing malware on devices - when downloaded. The sinister scammer - also known as Larva-208 - allegedly launched his plot on July 22 when he uploaded the HijackLoader malware ( onto the game. According to Bleeping Computer, this dodgy software was uploaded to the popular game Chemia, originally developed by Aether Forge Studios. The software establishes 'persistence' - meaning it gives a hacker unlimited access - on your device. Then, it downloads the Vidar infostealer ( while receiving a command-and-control address from a Telegram channel. A second piece of malware allegedly added to Chemia harvests your data from web browsers - including your account details, auto-fill information, cookies and cryptocurrency data. With all of that data and access to your computer, the hacker is then able to rob users of their hard-earned cash. A report shared with BleepingComputer revealed that the scheme relies on players trusting online platforms, instead of using 'traditional deception techniques'. It is unknown how EncryptHub allegedly managed to upload the files onto the game and Chemia's developer has not commented on the issue. The game remains on Steam and it is unclear if the latest version is safe to download. Watch trailer for RoboCop-Rogue City game that's FREE to claim on PlayStation The Sun has contacted Steam's operator, Valve, for comment. EncryptHub was behind a cyberattack campaign last year which affected 600 companies worldwide. The news comes after the beloved supermarket M&S recovers from a major cyberattack this year. Marks and Spencer was forced to shut down their online website while it grappled with the crisis, while £700 million was wiped off its stock market value. Eventually, the retailer was able to return to normal after being unable to make deliveries for some time. After the attack, the company offered users of its Sparks loyalty scheme the chance to choose between two of M&S' best selling products. These included: Percy Pigs or a Swiss Truffle Assortment Box Bouquet of Flowers or bottle of Prosecco A punnet of Grapes or a packet of Outrageously Chocolatey Round Biscuits. Sharry Cramond, director of loyalty, fashion, home & beauty marketing and masterbrand, said: 'Over the last three months, our colleagues have demonstrated real commitment and teamwork. At the same time, our customers have shown us fantastic support and loyalty. "These extra Sparks rewards are a small gesture to say thank you.'

Inside is a bedroom and living space, kitchenette and bathroom. The blended bedroom and living space has been fitted with bright pink carpets and curtains, the panelled ceiling is white and blue and there are Victorian style lights and wallpaper. Guests can sleep on the double bed, and in the daytime there are two bright blue bucket chairs to sit on. The kitchenette is kitted out with a toaster, kettle, teapot, mini fridge and there's a radio for a singalong too. There's air conditioning for the hot summers, and when it reaches the chilly months, there's a working log burner. For entertainment there's a television and plenty of board games. The carriage has been open to guests for just under a year according to the Airbnb website. It has 53 sparkling reviews so far and is a 'guest favourite' in the top five per cent of eligible listings. One visitor even wrote on their review: 'We regularly stay in five-star locations and this surpassed five-star easily! We highly recommend a stay here.' I stayed in London's coolest hotel room - with racing simulators, cocktail bar AND you can take the dressing gowns home 5 There's a dinky kitchenette but it's close to local restaurants and pubs Credit: Airbnb 5 Guests have compared it to a five-star hotel Credit: Airbnb Another added: "Outstanding and quirky. Exactly the peaceful break we hoped for - the detail invested in restoring the carriage is remarkable." The Airbnb host, Nigel Brooke, renovated the carriage himself and lives in the adjoining railway station. He revealed plans to extend his Airbnb and create a space for guests in the station's former waiting room. Near to the Airbnb is the world record-holding pub called Old Bell Inn which has the most amount of gin available to customers - over 1,100. The carriage is close to the Diggle Canal so it's a great place for a leisurely stroll before grabbing a pint (or gin), and heading back for the night. It's also a 10-minute drive to Peak District National Park. For anyone who wants to stay, you can book from £200 per night (including the Airbnb service fee). Plus, the new train journey with private booths, free cocktails & sea views to launch in world's cheapest holiday destination. And here are Tripadvisor's best UK hotels revealed – including a huge ship, old train station, safari park and a prison.

Love Island star Emma responds after Helena says she wishes she could apologise to her after brutal Harry split

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT'S been an intense week of drama on this series of Love Island, with the Grafties awards revealing Harry Cooksley's antics behind his partner Helena Ford's back. As well as his flirting with ex Shakira Khan and new bombshell Angel Swift, the footballer was also seen telling his ex Emma Munro that he still loves her, prior to her being dumped from the island. However, after seeing the clip for herself, Helena had said on Friday's episode that she wished she could apologise to her former love rival. Now Emma, who received a pre-villa glow up, has broken her silence and responded to Helena's comment. Taking to TikTok, the brunette beauty expressed: 'Hey guys, I'm just jumping on here to address tonight's episode where Helena said she owes me an apology. 'I just wanted to say that she absolutely doesn't, there is no need to apologise to me for how she spoke to me. We both could have handled things better and I'm no angel.' Proving there was no issue between them, she concluded: 'So no need to apologise, all good, no bad blood.' Harry was left stunned when he realised Emma was one of the Casa Amor bombshells as he was seen saying: 'Oh my god, it's my ex.' Despite his flirty tactics, Emma was adamant that she didn't want to get back with him and opted to get know Conor Phillips. Conor brought Emma back to the main villa after Casa, while Harry decided to stay coupled up with Helena. But just days after returning, Harry and Emma enjoyed multiple flirty conversations, much to the dismay of an unamused Helena. Love Island star Harry FINALLY admits to how he really feels about Helena after explosive love triangle It all came to a head on Friday night as Helena was forced to watch Harry crack on with multiple women behind her back and decided to end things with him for good. In one of the clips, Harry was seen discussing going on a date with Emma as they joked about coupling up and taking home the cash prize. Helena retorted: 'You're a f*****g joke Harry,' as he asked: 'Why am I a joke?' She hit back: 'Every single time you get up on the screen, you just embarrass me every time, I feel stupid. 'After every single conversation I have to watch you have with people,' as he responded: 'We've been doing that for six and a half weeks.' Helena fumed: 'I didn't expect you to be sitting with your ex-girlfriend and saying you'll get back into bed with one another on the outside. 'You just don't shut things down, you entertain everything and everyone.' Harry revealed he still had feelings for Shakira as Helena told him that Shakira wouldn't get back with him and she didn't want him either, before storming off. The rest of the villa decided to stay clear of him, including his best pal Dejon Noel-Williams, leading to Harry deciding to sleep on the day beds outside on his own.
