Pamela Anderson returns to OTT glam look with a heavily styled 'flippy bob'
Last week [17 July], Pamela was spotted out and about in New York City and although makeup-free, her hair has been heavily styled into a bob with barrel-shaped, flipped-out ends. The chin-length 'do is defined by bounce, volume and, just like Marilyn Monroe had, a side parting.
Oh, and to capitalise on the drama of this look, Pam even had an outfit change. First, she stepped out wearing a striking royal blue set consisting of a tie-neck blouse and pencil skirt, and then, she wore a boat-neck long sleeve top paired with a turquoise embellished skirt.
Perhaps my favourite shampoo to date, this formula not only smells divine but effortlessly adds body and volume to super fine strands, without feeling heavy or clunky.
Top with the co-ordinating FABLE & MANE Volumizing Conditioner for voluminous yet silky strands like no other.
On damp hair, add your volumising mousse of choice. This one is super affordable and adds bounce and texture sans-the crunch.
One of the most integral steps for achieving a bouffant bob: the blowdry brush. This one from Drybar is a firm Cosmo fave; it's super easy to use and adds the perfect amount of curve to strands.
Finish with a dry hold spray for a long-lasting style. This one is perfect for fine hair and is often used by Khloé Kardashian!
While not essential, a backcombing brush as such is great for fluffing up any limp locks. From the ends to the root, comb backwards and smooth over once happy with the volume.
As Pam shows, there's more to glamour than just makeup. Time to take a hairstyling 101 crash course...Follow Lia on Instagram.

Dog Spends 2 Weeks Away From Grandparents, Owner Captures Adorable Reunion
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A dog owner shared his pup's reaction to seeing his grandparents after two weeks apart, and internet users can't cope with the heartwarming footage. In a viral Instagram video shared on Tuesday under the username @hollythebluestaffy, the pup, a blue Staffordshire bull terrier named Holly from Melbourne, Australia, can be seen wagging her tail, as she patiently waits for her grandparents to open the door for her. As they buzz her in, the Staffy springs toward them on the couch, jumping on top of them and kissing them all over, as if she hasn't seen them in ages. "Visiting the grandpawrents after two weeks away," reads layover text in the clip. The caption says: "Two weeks away from the Grandparents is a lifetime apparently. I see a lot of comments on other videos about how your dog is one thing at home & a completely different dog when visiting family … Well if it makes you feel any better, Holly is the most placid dog on earth at home … So I hope this video makes you feel seen. "Ps. My folks are fine & absolutely love this. They wouldn't have it any other way. If I walk Holly into their house with her leashed they get upset at me, so if they are happy, and Holly is happy, I'm happy," the caption adds. Screenshots of the viral video show Holly greeting her grandparents after two weeks away. Screenshots of the viral video show Holly greeting her grandparents after two weeks away. @hollythebluestaffy The poster, who asked to remain anonymous, told Newsweek that Holly has loved her "grandpawrents" from the very beginning, and the feeling is very mutual. "My parents are dog lovers, and our family dog used to be exactly like this with them. I do get some comments about how Holly shouldn't be jumping all over them, but the truth is, my parents wouldn't have it any other way," Holly's owner said. "In fact, if I walk Holly into their house on a leash, they would tell me off. I love that they love Holly and as you can see she feels the exact same way! Holly does this with them because she knows she's allowed to and also because she knows they want her, too." At her grandparents' house, Holly can get away with anything, even with extra snacks that her owner pretends not to know about. Most dogs have a favorite human, and, for Holly, it is clearly both are grandparents. This is not at all unusual among canines; in fact, a dog's favorite does not have to be their owner, and it often isn't. But what makes canines pick one human over another? If you want to know whether you are indeed your pup's favorite human, then pay attention to the way they behave around you. Signs that may indicate you are include: keeping eye contact with a soft, loving gaze; physical contact, including licking, leaning, and sleeping in tour bed; bringing you gifts; and just being generally excited to see you. If canines behave this way with multiple people, then it is probably because they have multiple favorites. Georgia-based veterinarian Jess Kirk says in a Vet Explains Pets article that dogs can have multiple favorites, each for a different reason, and they are able to form a unique and special bond with every one of them. The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received over 24,000 likes on the platform. One user, Dmyers0102, commented: "Little buddy just couldn't stand it! I need to get in there and see my peeps!" Kristinaheath44 posted: "Awwww she loves them soooo much!!! Such joy!!!" Mizzzmarley added: "From someone whose mom is afraid of staffys, it warms my heart to see this Grammy love on her furgrand." Mom of Taylor Swift's ex Matty Healy is 'glad' she 'lost' role of mother-in-law
The mom of Taylor Swift's ex Matty Healy is apparently grateful that she's no longer in the pop superstar's orbit. On a July 24 episode of "Watch What Happens Live" with host Andy Cohen, British TV panelist Denise Welch took a swipe at the ex-girlfriend of The 1975 frontman. "Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost," the "Loose Women" presenter said after Cohen asked her about Swift's latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," rumored by some fans to be about Healy. 🚨Swifties🚨notes on The Tortured Poets Department from Matty Healy's mother Denise Welch #WWHL Travis Kelce finally posts Taylor Swift photos on Instagram: See the couple's date nights But Welch quickly clarified that she doesn't "have anything against her at all," adding that "it was just ... it was tricky." Welch added, "You're not allowed to say anything and then she writes a whole album about it?" Welch was appearing on the show opposite "Real Housewives of Orange County" cast member Shannon Storms Beador. The actress then said her son was very happy with his "amazing" and "gorgeous" fianceé Gabbriette Bechtel, whom Welch first called "Gabriella" before correcting herself, telling Cohen they have "moved on." The musician and model announced their engagement in June last year. Swift has moved on, too, with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, widely considered one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history. In a twist of fate, Swift's boyfriend hard-launched their relationship on Instagram on July 24 – the same day Welch appeared on "WWHL.". Two years after they first began dating during the summer of 2023, Kelce posted his first photos with Swift: the NFL star player wrote that he "had some adventures this offseason," which included ice skating with Swift and rare glimpses into the couple's date nights. Swift has frequented Kansas City Chiefs games with Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, a beloved TV personality in her own right. Contributing: Bryan West

Malcolm-Jamal Warner's death: Police clarify his daughter's whereabouts at time of actor's drowning
Officials are setting the record straight about Malcolm-Jamal Warner's death. Despite earlier reports, Costa Rica's Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) told People on Friday that the 'Cosby Show' alum's daughter was actually not in the water at the time of his drowning. 'Mr. Warner was playing with his daughter at the seashore at one point. He then left her out of the water, and he and a friend of his entered the sea,' the statement, which was translated from Spanish to English, stated. Advertisement 9 Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Danny Moloshok/Invision/AP 'It was at that moment that they were swept away by the current, and the friend managed to get out,' the statement continued. 'However, Mr. Warner was unable to get out and was pulled out by several people on the beach. He received care from Red Cross officials, but was pronounced dead at the scene.' On Monday, Costa Rican National Police confirmed to The Post that bystanders had pulled Warner from the water and taken him to shore. Playa Grande lifeguards confirmed they were 'not present' on the beach at the time of the accident due to a lack of 'resources.' Warner's body was transported to the morgue at San Joaquin de Flores for an autopsy. His cause of death is listed as asphyxiation by 'submersion.' His wife was allegedly not in the country and learned about the tragedy through a phone call. Now, a doctor, who was one of the bystanders who pulled Warner out of the water, is revealing what happened. Advertisement 'I was about 200 meters from the incident, at Playa Grande, spending the day on vacation with my partner,' the doctor, who asked to remain anonymous, told Us Weekly. 'There were very few people on the beach, and the sea was rough.' 9 Malcolm-Jamal Warner and his daughter. The physician said he heard several cries and rushed over. 'I ran to the area and entered the sea with my surfboard, heading into the rip current toward the person being pointed at by some beachgoers,' he explained. 'After a few minutes, I saw a shadow, dove down and pulled the person out.' Once the doctor got to shore, he saw the second bystander, who had helped rescue Warner, struggling to breathe while lying on the sand. 9 Malcolm-Jamal Warner celebrates the holidays with his daughter. malcolmjamalwar/Instagram '[He was] just someone who tried to help during the emergency, without any rescue equipment.' Lifeguards explained on Monday that while Playa Grande is well known by 'local surfers,' it is one of their 'most challenging beaches.' He was swept away by a strong rip current and died by drowning,' Costa Rica's volunteer lifeguard association, Caribbean Guard, wrote on Facebook Monday. 9 Malcolm-Jamal Warner and his daughter wash his car. malcolmjamalwar/Instagram 'It all happened very quickly, and although there were people on the beach who entered the water to rescue him, they did not arrive in time,' the statement noted. 'He was pulled from underwater without vital signs, and despite CPR maneuvers being performed on the beach, resuscitation was unsuccessful.' They added that there are signs placed along the beach in both Spanish and English 'warning of the danger of death due to drowning.' 'But I think … there's a generation of young people who have pursued higher education or have started loving families because of the influence of that show.' Advertisement 'So it's kind of like, you can't discount its impact on television culture and American culture,' he expressed. After news of the tragedy broke, Cosby, 88, addressed Warner's death, revealing that it felt like losing his own son, who was murdered in 1997. He told The Post through his rep: 'While I was their TV dad, I never stopped being a father to them.'
