Hi Dubai11-07-2025
Dubai is putting its top-tier waterparks in the spotlight this summer as part of the #DubaiDestinations campaign, highlighting the city's reputation as a global hub for family-friendly entertainment and leisure.
Launched by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, the campaign promotes a wide range of water-themed attractions that cater to thrill-seekers, families, and young children alike. From record-breaking slides to floating obstacle courses and safe splash zones, Dubai's waterparks blend cutting-edge design with high standards of safety and comfort.
Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis The Palm continues to draw crowds with its high-speed slides and surf simulators, while Wild Wadi near the Burj Al Arab remains a long-time favourite with over 30 rides and views of Dubai's skyline.
For something unique, AquaFun Waterpark at JBR offers a sea-based inflatable playground, and LEGOLAND Water Park provides an interactive experience tailored to kids aged 2 to 12. Other family-friendly options include Splash 'n' Party, Jungle Bay Waterpark, and the tranquil Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark.
Nature-focused experiences are also available at Al Barari Playground, while OliOli – Water Gallery in Al Quoz combines play with education through hands-on water exhibits.
Running through 31 July 2025, the #DubaiDestinations campaign encourages residents and tourists to explore the city's dynamic summer attractions — reinforcing Dubai's standing as a premier destination for leisure and adventure.

Watch: Kids arriving at DXB get souvenir 'passports' to help them explore city

As the summer heat intensifies in Dubai, crafting an engaging itinerary can be challenging for visitors, with most outdoor attractions becoming virtually inaccessible. To help those coming to the emirate make the best of their stay, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has announced that children arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) will receive souvenir 'passports' to help them navigate the vibrant city that thrives all year round. In a video shared by Dubai Media Office on X, kids arriving at Children's Passport Control are shown as they receive their passport from officers, shake hands with airport officials before getting their real travel documents stamped. By using a QR code in the passport, kids will be directed to Dubai Destinations website for guidance on where to go and what to do in Dubai this summer. The initiative is the fruit of collaboration between Brand Dubai and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). Special immigration counters dedicated for children were set up at DXB Terminals 1, 2 and 3 in 2023 to make the arrival process 'more enjoyable and interactive' for children aged between 4 and 12. More than 550,000 children have passed through these counters since they were first opened, GDRFA announced last year.
