The 35-year-old club great tucked into the fast food after he'd been subbed off at three-quarter time of the win, which kept his side in the top four heading into the finals campaign.
North were completely outplayed by the Cats and some fans thought Dangerfield's display unnecessarily rubbed salt into the struggling club's wounds.
'This is bloody embarrassing and a little bit of arrogance from Dangerflog!' one wrote on X.
'That is disgusting and unbelievably disrespectful,' another added.
'Pull your head in Danger. That's s**t,' wrote a third.
'You had Dangerfield eating a souva [souvlaki] for God's sake. It was a pathetic performance [by North],' another fan said on TikTok.
Even Dangerfield's teammate Max Holmes had a good-natured dig at him after fulltime.
'That's so unprofessional,' Holmes joked.
'He told me as he was walking in just then that he considered driving home.'
Dangerfield's teammate Jeremy Cameron kicked a career-high 11 goals as Geelong recorded the greatest winning margin by any team this season in the demolition at Marvel Stadium.
The Coleman Medal leader and star midfielder Bailey Smith (43 possessions, 13 clearances) ran riot in the Cats' merciless 22.18 (150) to 7.7 (49) thumping.
The result came close to eclipsing Geelong's greatest winning margin against the Kangaroos, 114 points back in 1981.
Geelong took a whopping 106-point lead into three-quarter time, but North at least added four goals to win the final term after only kicking three before that.
In pole position to add to the Coleman Medal he won in 2019, Cameron slotted through his 10th goal early in the final quarter.
The 32-year-old had previously kicked nine goals in a game twice.
Naturally his Cats teammates looked for him when going inside-50 as the prospect of the rare feat became possible.
Cameron did as he pleased for most of the night, with many of his goals coming because he was given so much space by North's defenders.
Cameron's bag took him to 69 goals this season, 22 ahead of Gold Coast spearhead Ben King.
He joins the legendary Lance Franklin, Richmond premiership hero Jack Riewoldt and former West Coast champion Josh Kennedy as players to kicked 11 or more goals in a game in the 18-team era that began in 2012.
'Right from the start, he looked sharp and took his chances early,' Cats coach Chris Scott said.
'He was dangerous all night, but part of that was the others who are in there too.
'It wasn't as if he was our only way of scoring.'
While the left-footed wizard ran riot up forward, star recruit Smith was electric in the midfield.
The Brownlow Medal fancy had 25 possessions at halftime, finishing with an equal career-best 43.
The finals-bound Cats were doing it so easy they decided to tactically sub out captain Patrick Dangerfield in the third quarter.
So relaxed was Dangerfield, he ate a souvlaki on the bench in the final term.
Former Sydney star Luke Parker was easily North's best player, having 31 disposals and a team-high seven clearances.
The result left Geelong in fourth place on the ladder, with a favourable run in their four games before finals.
North appear headed for a sixth straight season stranded in the bottom two.
The Kangaroos are 4-1-14, with coach Alastair Clarkson left to do some soul-searching before he starts his fourth season in charge of North in 2026.
'The difference is only about (17) disposals between the two sides,' Clarkson said.
'Obviously the difference is the quality with which they use their ball compared to what we did ours.
'Some of that was due to due to good pressure from Geelong, and some of it, we just had some blatant turnovers that we need to be better at.'

AFL great Nicky Winmar has been accused of two assaults and of intentionally choking a person, court documents reveal. The former St Kilda star, 59, had been listed for an application to revoke bail at Melbourne magistrates court on Tuesday, which could have seen him thrown in jail. However, a prosecutor asked for this to be struck out. 'The court made the decision to bail Mr Winmar on the 19th of July based on that application,' she said, as the magistrate agreed to strike it out. Theocharous said Winmar was undergoing a court integrated services program (CISP) as a condition of his bail, which had been granted on 18 July. She asked for his matter to be adjourned so he can have time to engage with the program. Theocharous said Winmar had attended an initial appointment at the court for CISP and had another scheduled for later on Tuesday. Magistrate Vincenzo Caltabiano agreed to adjourn his case for a month. Winmar will next face the court on 28 August. The AFL legend became the first Aboriginal footballer to play 200 games in the league, finishing his career with 230 games at St Kilda and 21 for the Western Bulldogs. He fought back against a number of acts of racism throughout his football career, including standing in front of a Collingwood crowd in 1993 where he was abused. 'I'm black and I'm proud to be black,' he told the crowd, lifting his guernsey and pointing at his skin. Garry Ringrose ruled out of third Test but injured Lions trio back in the mix
Garry Ringrose will miss the third British and Irish Lions Test against Australia as the centre continues to manage the impacts of the concussion that ruled him out of the first two games against the Wallabies. Ringrose suffered a head injury during the win over the Brumbies, ruling him out of the first Test in Brisbane, but had been in line to return for last Saturday's clash at the Melbourne Cricket Ground having been named in the side internally. However, the 30-year-old reported lingering impacts of the concussion while training last Thursday and was stood down from the side, with Huw Jones starting - and scoring - in his stead at outside centre. Ringrose will now have to again progress through the return-to-play protocols and observe the minimum 12-day stand down period, rendering him unable to feature at Accor Stadium this weekend. It means that a Test cap will elude the Leinster and Ireland stalwart, a bitter blow for a player that has had to bide his time for this opportunity. 'He's disappointed, as you can imagine,' assistant coach Andrew Goodman said, confirming Ringrose had been ruled out. 'Garry was playing some amazing rugby through this tour and someone you know who it's been a dream of his for so long to represent the Lions and he's managed to do that. 'But he wanted to be a Test-match Lion so it's been devastating for him. To his credit he's been good around the group. It is a balance and I'm sure we'll have some good discussions as we always have around selecting the best 23 for the group."
