Thunder Valley MX betting, predictions, odds, picks, lines: Lack of dominance impacts Jett Lawrence odds
That momentary bobble by Jett garnered the attention of the traders, and Jett's odds for the Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colorado, became slightly more attractive. This week, it will cost bettors approximately $250 (-253) to net a $100 return.

However, the relative difference between Lawrence and Tomac (+273) stretched slightly, with Tomac seeing 26 points added to his raw opening odds. The traders continue to treat the 2025 Pro Motocross season as a two-man show, even though Tomac's costly mistake when he tucked his front tire while battling for fifth shook their faith marginally.
Hunter Lawrence (+848) holds the third-lowest betting odds as the only other rider under 10/1, largely in response to his Round 1 podium after returning from a shoulder injury suffered during the Monster Energy Supercross championship. Hunter swept the top five in Hangtown, but was never in serious contention for a moto win after scoring a fifth-place finish in Race 1 and a fourth-place result in Moto 2.
Aaron Plessinger (+2504) is the rider with the most significant movement this week among top riders. Last week, he opened with odds of approximately 40/1. He came close to winning the first moto before misjudging the time on the clock. Losing pace in the closing laps, he surrendered the victory to Tomac. If that had not happened, Plessinger would have tied Jett in National points. He would have lost the overall on the tiebreaker, however.
Justin Cooper (+4445) scored his first podium of the season last week in Hangtown with results of fourth in Moto 1 and second in Moto 2. He was third overall after opening the week with a +151 to finish that well. Cooper's podium odds this week are practically even at +104.

Cooper Webb (+8233) got the attention of traders last week with a pair of seventh-place moto finishes and a sixth overall. Last week, he opened at more than 127/1, and the traders viewed that as a risky proposition should Jett and Tomac both experience trouble in Thunder Valley. It's difficult to count out a tough rider like Webb.
Jorge Prado (+14606) deserves some attention this week, not for the overall win, but for his potential of finally standing on the podium. He faded to 12th in the intense heat of Moto 1 before rebounding to finish fifth in the second race. If he can smooth out his effort and the favorites experience problems, he could be this week's most pleasant surprise.

Enzo Temmerman sweeps Loretta Lynn's 250 Pro Sport, secures title
Enzo Temmerman ended his 250 Pro Sport campaign with a third divisional moto win in the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, and walked away with the title. Entering the moto with back-to-back wins, Friday's race should have been stress-free, but for the second straight race, Temmerman suffered a poor start and was only sixth after Lap 1. Unlike his previous efforts, it took quite some time to get to the front, with Temmerman falling as far back as 10 seconds during the race. Dan Beaver, Temmerman moved into third on Lap 4, but was forced to settle there until the two laps remained in the moto. Temmerman passed teammate Landen Gordon at that point. One lap later, he took the lead in a thrilling, three-rider battle for the top spot. Kade Johnson led every lap except the final one. He succumbed to a charging Temmerman on Lap 13 and ultimately lost seven seconds to the new leader. Gordon lost an additional four seconds of pace, but easily outdistanced the fourth-place rider, Diesel Thomas. That position would prove to be important as he finished second in the title hunt with one point separating him from Landen Gibson. Gibson finished fifth in the moto to round out the top five. Finishing 10th, North Carolina's Ely Gross capped off progressive improvement during the week with his first top-10. He was 15th in Moto 1 and 11th in Moto 2. Lachlan Turner sweeps first two races in Women's Loretta Lynn's division with Moto 2 win
Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha's Lachlan Turner maintained her supremacy of the Women's division on Thursday with another convincing win over Kyleigh Stallings on Day 3 of the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. A strong start was the key to Turner's Moto 1 win on Wednesday, and she duplicated that feat on Thursday, leading from the drop of the gate until the checkered flag. Turner's dominance is underscored by her fastest lap of the moto of 2:00.135, which was set on the second lap. That was nearly four seconds faster than the next fastest lap of 2:04.010 by Jordon Jarvis. Dan Beaver, Turner's victory over Stallings was by 21.397 seconds with speed differentials of up to five seconds during the nine-lap race. The gap would have been much greater overall if not for a tip-over by Turner that cost 10 seconds as she remounted the Yamaha. Turner is also competing in the mostly-male 250 B Limited division, where she finished among the top 20. Turner was 16th in Moto 2 there and 29th in Moto 1. Jarvis finished third for the second consecutive moto. In fact, the top four duplicated Wednesday's race with Mayla Herrick coming home fourth in Moto 2. Lilly-Ann Pettus improved from sixth in Moto 1 to round out the top five. Despite winning the first two motos, Turner cannot relax. WMX leader Lachlan Turner wins first Women's moto at the Loretta Lynn's Nationals
Women's Pro Motocross (WMX) leader Lachlan Turner led the 10-lap Women's Moto 1 at the Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals to begin her quest for a first Women's divisional title. Despite failing to win the Women's division in the prestigious event, Turner is the reigning Girls champion. More impressively, she won last year's WMX title in the first year of the series' return. The only thing keeping the day from being perfect on Wednesday at the Loretta's was Turner's failure to get the holeshot. That honor went to Jaelyn Wishon, who retired with two laps remaining to finish 40th. Dan Beaver, Once in the lead, Turner was never challenged. She had a five-second advantage over the field at the end of the first lap and steadily increased it until she finished more than 30 seconds ahead of Kyleigh Stallings, who is currently fourth in WMX points. Stallings started the race third behind Turner and Jordan Jarvis, but moved into second on Lap 2. And while Jarvis could not get around Stallings, the two were in close contact throughout the middle of the moto, often separated by one second. Stallings won the contest and finished in second place. Jarvis rounded out the podium in third. Fourth-place Mayla Herrick and Mila Baltyk rounded out the top five. Moto 2 for Women is scheduled for Thursday.
