"One mother told my mother, 'You ought to take Betsy to [the studio], they come there all the time looking for kids to be in Our Gang comedies.' So she took me over there and sure enough, a month later, a man came over... he took us in and we were in Our Gang movies."

Turns out it wasn't a scheduling conflict.
Bill Hader has revealed that his absence at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special was not due to a scheduling conflict, as claimed by his publicist at the time, but because of his long-running struggles with anxiety. 'Andy [Samberg] called me and was like, 'Hey, so we're doing this short about how, you know, everybody had anxiety...'' Hader recalled. 'And when he told me that, I was like, 'I don't know if I want to do that.'' Hader continued, 'He's like, 'Why?' And I'm like, 'Because I'm anxious. I don't want to do it.''

Hulk Hogan's Daughter Fuels Conspiracy Theories Over Wrestling Icon's Death
The death of wrestling legend has taken a shocking turn, with his daughter and longtime friend Bubba the Love Sponge igniting wild conspiracy theories about what really happened. Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24 at age 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest. The report also cited his history of leukemia and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm. But despite officials ruling his passing as natural, Hulk Hogan's inner circle isn't buying it. Bubba's Explosive Allegations About Hulk Hogan's Death Radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge, a controversial figure and close associate of Hogan, published a bombshell article questioning why it was decided that the wrestling icon would be cremated so quickly and why no autopsy was performed. Bubba alleged that Hogan could have been injected with something through his dialysis port while he slept, potentially inducing a fatal heart attack. He also pointed to Hogan's estimated $40–50 million estate and highlighted that his widow, Sky Daily, has alleged ties to Scientology. Even more startling, Bubba questioned why no one knew Hogan was about to begin dialysis, citing a Tampa Bay Times report that the wrestler collapsed at his Clearwater Beach home just after returning from surgery. According to that report, paramedics told Morton Plant Hospital staff that Hogan was waiting to start dialysis when he suddenly went into distress. Medics attempted to revive him with drugs to lower potassium, a sign of kidney failure, and even administered Narcan, typically used to reverse opioid overdoses. Authorities made clear there was no evidence of an overdose. Brooke Hogan Backs Him Up Fueling the fire, Hogan's daughter Brooke appeared to endorse Bubba's suspicions. When an Instagram post shared the headline 'Quick cremation without autopsy raises questions about Hulk Hogan's death,' Brooke responded simply, 'Exactly.' Her remark has only amplified speculation online, with fans torn between shock, suspicion, and disbelief. At the time of his passing, the Clearwater Police Department confirmed the emergency response in a statement. 'Clearwater Fire Department and Clearwater Police Department personnel responded to a medical call at 9:51 a.m. today in the 1000 block of Eldorado Avenue on Clearwater Beach," they said. "The nature of the call was for a cardiac arrest. A 71-year-old resident, Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, was treated by Clearwater Fire & Rescue crews before being taken by Sunstar to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.' Conflicting Reports Sparked Speculation Before His Death The conspiracy theories also came after weeks of confusing and conflicting updates about Hogan's health, leaving fans uncertain about what to believe. Just last month, reports surfaced claiming Hogan was 'on his deathbed' following complications from a recent neck surgery. His representatives quickly pushed back, telling E! News there was 'no reason to panic,' in an attempt to reassure the public. Hogan's wife, Sky Daily, also spoke out to shut down alarming rumors, publicly denying claims that the wrestling legend was in a coma and insisting that his heart was 'strong.' In a bittersweet twist, Hogan's longtime friend and former on-screen manager Jimmy Hart even posted an upbeat update just two days before his death, telling fans that the Hall of Famer was doing well and aiming to quiet speculation. Officials Say No Foul Play Despite the swirl of conspiracies, authorities insist Hogan's death was natural. The Pinellas County Medical Examiner said no autopsy was necessary because 'there were no signs of foul play or suspicious activity.' Clearwater Police Major Nate Burnside reiterated the same to reporters. At the time of his passing, a heartfelt message was posted on Hogan's official Instagram page, reading: 'It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend. Our beloved Terry Bollea, known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, passed away today surrounded by his loved ones. At this time of grief, we ask that everyone please respect the privacy of his family and friends. May we all take solace in the wonderful memories he left behind for the millions of fans worldwide whose lives he touched for more than four decades. He will be missed, but never forgotten.' Hulk Hogan Set To Be Cremated As Conspiracy Theories Over His Death Continue To Swirl According to his death certificate, Hogan will be cremated at Bay Area Crematory in Clearwater. A specific date has not yet been revealed, but the medical examiner's office confirmed they received a cremation request on July 31. As the wrestling world continues to mourn, questions about Hogan's sudden passing, and the theories swirling around it, show no signs of slowing down.
