Sporting KC acquire Mexican F Santiago Munoz
The deal with the 22-year-old U.S.-born Mexican international, announced Tuesday, runs through the end of the 2025 MLS season.
Sporting KC has a purchase option for Munoz, who has six goals and six assists in 81 games for Santos Laguna.
He previously spent time on a loan with the Premier League's Newcastle United from 2021-22.

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has received a surprise approach from Manchester United, according to reports. Liverpool have seen their £110 million bid for the 25-year-old rejected by Newcastle this week. The Premier League champions are now willing to end talks with Newcastle and are not planning to increase their offer for the Sweden international.
