Oasis star Liam Gallagher puts bad boy days behind him as he's joined by surprise guest on reunion tour

LIAM GALLAGHER was regarded as the bad boy of rock 'n' roll in his Nineties heyday.
But things have clearly changed as I can reveal that mum Peggy is keeping a beady eye on him during his Oasis Live '25 Tour with brother Noel.

She has been staying with her son during their sold-out gigs — with the pair spending quality time together in between dates.
And I have been told that she will be the proudest mum in Britain next week when she heads to London's Wembley Stadium to see her sons Noel and Liam on stage next Saturday.
It will be the first time in 16 years that she has seen the brothers perform together.
Plus Peggy will also get to watch her other son Paul Gallagher do a DJ set before Noel and Liam take to the stage.
A source said: 'Liam is incredibly close to Peggy and has loved spending time with her during the tour.
'She is really looking forward to seeing all three of her boys on stage at Wembley.
'Peggy has always stayed out of their disagreements and just wants the best for her sons.'
And it seems that Peggy is a good influence on Liam, who has not posted on X since the tour kicked off at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4.
A source added: 'Liam has been keeping his head down and concentrating on the tour. His main priority is staying in the best mindset possible.'
Liam Gallagher's heartwarming tribute during Oasis gig revealed - but did you spot it?
Biz on Sunday revealed last year that Peggy wasn't fussed that Noel and Liam had reconciled for an Oasis tour.
HEAD TO LONDON
Of their reunion, Noel said: 'My mum couldn't give a s**t. My mum never gave a s**t — never. You know what Irish mums are like?
'When we told her we were getting back together, she said, 'Sure that will be nice'. That was it.'
Noel and Liam are set to perform their fifth show at Manchester's Heaton Park tonight.
The Manchester-born brothers will head to London next Friday, where they will perform five nights — with an additional two in the capital in September.
London is about to get a Northern makeover.
Meghan shore is smitten

MEGAN THEE STALLION brightens up our day by modelling a plunging bikini on the beach.
The rapper, who posted the hot pictures on Instagram, was glowing again this week as she made her red carpet debut with US basketball star Klay Thompson, in New York.
The pair looked every inch the happy couple as they arrived holding hands at her Pete & Thomas Foundation fundraiser at Gotham Hall.
Gushing about her relationship to Page Six, Megan said: 'This is my first relationship where I have ever been with somebody who's genuinely a nice person, and he makes me happy.'
Frown and out

BROOKLYN BECKHAM and Nicola Peltz looked serious as they headed out in the South of France.
The couple, in the midst of a family feud, appeared to have a lot on their minds while they strolled holding hands in Saint-Tropez.
Nicola channelled the look of the season in some black capri trousers with a faux-fur stole over her shoulders.
And it seems that the pair are enjoying spending time by the sea, with Brooklyn recently describing his wife as 'my sexy little mermaid'.
I trust their trip went swimmingly.
Low's Avril high
ROCK band All Time Low have revealed that they have secret tracks in the locker with Avril Lavigne.
Guitarist Alex Gaskarth says that the Canadian singer is a huge fan of their new track Suckerpunch, and messaged the band to say how much she loved it.
He told Biz on Sunday: 'It's funny the amount of things that you work on that never see the light of day.'
Alex, who will kick off the Everyone's Talking! Tour with the band in October, said: 'I will say that Avril was very complimentary and very sweet about the song.'
The singer collaborated with All Time Low in 2023 on the track Fake As Hell.
Alex adds: 'Avril is a great friend. It's always nice when you get a text from Avril, like, 'New song slaps'.'
Tinie's up for saving clubs
9
FIFTEEN years since bursting on to the music scene, rapper Tinie Tempah has returned with new track Eat It Up – and he's joining the battle to keep our nightclubs open.
With the song having all the qualities of a club banger, Tinie's track will be a big help for venue bosses fighting to fill their dancefloors.
The London-born hitmaker has joined forces with the Night Time Industries Association on its The Last Night Out campaign, after it was announced three clubs are closing every week in the UK.
In an exclusive chat with Biz on Sunday, Tinie said: 'Without nightclubs, I would not be where I am today.
'If it wasn't for the 10,000 hours I put in at all the amazing music venues all across the country, I would definitely not be talking to you now.'
Meanwhile, dad-of-two Tinie said he still loves going out, and his favourite tipple is a tequila and ginger beer.
He said: 'Just because you have kids, it doesn't necessarily change who you are as a person. I'm a very proud father. I'm an artist as well.'
He added: 'It's a part of what I do, as someone who has a publishing company and is always looking at new talent, I want to be where I can hear the music first.'
Of his new track title, Tinie said: 'People say, you know, just lap it up, eat it up, soak it up.
'We come with the best energy, the best sonic. That is basically what Eat It Up is about.
'And also subtly encouraging people to be in a space where, you know, they're just having fun and letting loose.'
Sounds like my kind of night.
MESSY singer Lola Young seems open to meeting someone, as I can reveal she has signed up to celeb dating app Raya.
She has synced her page to the song Brick by Ben Folds Five.
A source said: 'She has been working hard on her album, but is also looking to dip her toe in the world of dating.'
Mae: Isle succeed
AFTER dropping her first EP as an independent artist on Friday, Mae Muller says the five-track My Island is her 'best writing yet'.
Speaking to Biz on Sunday, the singer revealed: 'My writing is the best it's ever been, partly because I've learnt to trust my own instincts.
"Not having a label has forced me to trust myself, which is a really powerful tool.'
Mae – who left Capitol Records UK last year – revealed that the single In My Head (I Hate It Here) was inspired by bands Wolf Alice and The Shins and the lyrics fell out of her like 'word vomit'.
She added: 'It's lonely wondering how you're perceived, but what I realised is that you care more than anyone else.'
I couldn't agree more, Mae.
Planners battle for Dua wedding
9
SHE finally confirmed her engagement in June after debuting a sparkling rock on her finger.
And now Dua Lipa – whose actor boyfriend Callum Turner popped the question last year – is becoming hot property in the world of posh weddings.
I have been told that luxury planners already have their eyes on the prize and would love to put together the couple's big day.
Elite events organiser Camilla Boniek has started following Dua on Instagram after arranging Millie Bobby Brown's wedding to Jake Bongiovi in a secret ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, last year.
Meanwhile, Josiah Carr and Justin McGregor, who recently organised the marriage of top fashion influencer Madeleine White and DJ Andrew Fedyk in Greece, are also following the pop star.
And GSP Events – known for working with high profile clients on their marriage celebrations, and who have their services listed in posh mag Tatler's Address Book as the creme de la creme of wedding planners – have also connected with Dua.
A source said: 'Dua and Callum's wedding will be THE nuptials of the year.
'Planners from across the globe will be vying for this job.'
Speaking to Vogue earlier this year about her ring, Dua said: 'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me.
'It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.'
Sounds like Dua and Callum are a match made in heaven.
A silent night Olly?
9
IT looks like Olly Murs fancies a quiet one as he hushes a band on a night out in London.
The Troublemaker singer – currently on his 15 Years Of Hits Tour – put a finger to his lips with a phone at his ear as he partied in Soho.
I have heard whispers that Olly was gathering content for a new music video after debuting single Save Me on his arena trek.
A source said: 'He wants to go back to his roots with the music video and show off his cheeky personality.
'Fans have gone wild for Save Me and Olly will no doubt put his all into making the best music video as well.'
Olly also played arcade machines on his night out.
Good to see he's still in the game . . .

Rachel Zegler sparks fan fury with mysterious Evita exit halfway through London show

Rachel Zegler left fans furious as she abruptly left the stage midway through her Evita performance on Thursday. The 24-year-old star of the 'woke' Snow White remake fell ill during the show at London's Palladium theatre - with her departure announced at intermission, per People. Following a brief pause, her understudy Bella Brown, who played Perón's Mistress in the musical, took on the Evita role for act 2 - which begins with Don't Cry for Me Argentina. Zegler, who has won rave reviews for her Evita portrayal, will return to the stage tonight, Friday 25th July for the evening performance, her representative confirmed to One fan wrote on social media: 'Rachel zegler ruining everything she's a part of still.' Others penned: 'Give her a job at McDonalds. It's clear this woman isnt cut out for entertainment. Stop giving her charity. 'The understudy is better. No shock. I'd give her a standing ovation if she would just leave. Always one bus stop away from knocking it out of the park with this one. On Broadway they would be demanding their $ back. So apparently woke Snow White is creating box office disasters on two continents. Shame, despite her many missteps and foibles, she seemed to doing a good job by all accounts at this at least. Others sent well wishes for the star, writing: 'Hope she's okay.' Most probably a health issue. I have watched the show and her performance is excellent, both vocals and acting. Actually, she saves a show that lacks narrative coherence and direction generally fails to make the audience emotionally attached. Rachel is playing former First Lady of Argentina Eva Peron in the show, which debuted in 1978 and was written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Fans were left furious with the star over her abrupt exit The play follows her rise from a poor background to becoming a powerful political figure and cultural icon in Argentina. Following the announcement earlier this year, Rachel gushed: 'Evita has been such an important musical to me since I was a little girl, when my dad and I would sing Don't Cry for Me Argentina together on my back patio. 'The opportunity to bring Jamie Lloyd's singular, visionary ideas to life onstage is an honour unlike any other. The stage has always felt like home to me, and I can't wait to make my West End debut in such great company.' So far, Zegler is best known for the box office flop Snow White. Prior to its release, Snow White was mired in controversy due to comments from Zegler and the absence of the iconic song 'Someday My Prince Will Come.' In an effort to be more progressive, Disney also changed the dwarves to be called 'magical creatures.' Critics of the remake first jumped on Disney for the decision to cast Zegler in the role due to her Colombian ancestry. The original fairytale revealed that the princess is given her name because her skin is 'as white as snow.' At the time, Zegler said that the origin story had changed, and in Disney's new version the princess earns the name due to a snowstorm she survived as a child. She then came under fire for criticizing original animation when she called it 'dated' during a red carpet interview with Extra TV in 2022. She eventually walked back her comments and assured fans that the love story would be 'integral' to the remake's plot. Disney fans then expressed discontent at Zegler when she said she was 'scared' of the original version as a child and only watched it one time. Although the Disney remake has been widely considered a flop, Rachel has already lined up next role. She will be starring opposite Marisa Tomei, 60, of My Cousin Vinny fame, in her next movie role. In the upcoming comedy-drama She Gets It From Me, Zegler will play the daughter of the Tomei's wild, unruly and free-spirited character, according to the synopsis reported by Variety.

Gavin And Stacey legend to join Doctor Who star and huge other celeb guests on BBC Radio 2 next week

Gavin And Stacey's Alison Steadman is set to join a host of other star-studded guests for a special week on BBC Radio 2 next week. To kick off the summer holidays, listeners can expect to hear from plenty of famous voices across Radio 2 and Radio 6. Alison, 78, will join her Gavin And Stacey co-star Rob Brydon Wednesday morning to host Radio 2's flagship show. She'll begin her morning joining Scott Mills Breakfast Show with Here We Go co-star Jim Howick. Doctor Who star Billie Piper will be joining her co-star Joanna Lumley on Wednesday's Craig Charles' 6 Music show. Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, 22, will be appearing on the same show on Monday. The 22-year-old actor, who also performs in band The Aubreys, will appear in the final series of Netflix 's Stranger Things in November. Last month, Scott Mills was forced to issue a live apology after holding a full-blown 'funeral service' for Call The Midwife on his Radio 2 show. The Radio 2 presenter, 51, devoted an entire segment of his Breakfast Show to reports claiming the BBC series would come to an end after its fifteenth season next year. Treating the news with dramatic flair, Scott played sombre funeral-style music and even opened a phone line for devastated fans to call in and share their heartbreak. However things got awkward after he was told only moments later that the beloved drama hadn't been axed after all. Opening the segment, he declared: 'This morning, we woke up to the news that the show that never ends is indeed ending. I am sorry if this is how you are finding out.' As he confirmed the series in question was Call the Midwife, he added: 'It is ending, the fifteenth series will be the last one. 'We opened our phone lines to offer you support in these times because we've all laughed and cried and gasped at some of the births. Lots of you have been messaging in and using the helpline.' Listeners flooded the show with emotional voice notes, reminiscing about the programme's most memorable moments. One even expressed hope the series might return, to which Scott firmly replied: 'No it won't.' But just ten minutes later, Scott was forced to backtrack dramatically after being handed a statement from BBC bosses live on air. Sounding sheepish, he said: 'Good Morning, I may have done a bad thing here so I'm going to read this prepared statement from the BBC which I've just received.' He then read word-for-word a response from the BBC, which said: 'The BBC would like to reassure fans that Call The Midwife will remain at the heart of the BBC for years to come. 'As previously announced, there are two Christmas specials, a new series, a film and prequel series, before a sixteenth series in due course. Call the Midwife isn't going anywhere!'

Hollywood star mysteriously pulls out of lead West End role halfway through performance

unexpectedly exited midway through Thursday night's performance of the hit West End musical Evita. The American actress, 24, who stars as Eva Perón in Jamie Lloyd's acclaimed production, finished the first act before leaving the stage for the remainder of the show. Bella Brown, who had been playing Mistress in the opening act, took over the lead role for the second half, delivering a powerful performance that impressed the audience. Although no official explanation was given for Rachel's sudden exit, fans were treated to a rare glimpse of two talented actresses sharing the spotlight in one night. Bella later celebrated the moment on Instagram, sharing fan praise and writing: 'What a lucky audience getting to see both myself and MY ANGEL REG ZEG!!' She also highlighted the vital importance of understudies in theatre, posting: 'Today really showed just how important swings and covers are within this industry!! They are the pillars of the show!! A proud day to be at @officialevita.' MailOnline reached out to Rachel's representatives for comment. Although they didn't disclose the reason for her abrupt exit, they confirmed she is scheduled to return for Friday night's (July 25) show. The play follows her rise from a poor background to becoming a powerful political figure and cultural icon in Argentina. Rachel, who has been engulfed in controversy since the release of Disney's 'woke' Snow White is hoping her fortunes could see a career turn with Evita. The stage has always felt like home to me, and I can't wait to make my West End debut in such great company.' Meanwhile Jamie said: 'I am so excited to be collaborating with the brilliant Rachel Zegler on Evita. She is a phenomenal talent, and I am delighted she will be making her West End debut as the iconic Eva Perón'. An official announcement for the show read: 'Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary Evita returns to the West End, reimagined by the visionary award-winning director Jamie Lloyd'. 'Featuring an iconic score including Don't Cry For Me Argentina, Oh What A Circus, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, and the Oscar-winning You Must Love Me'. 'Fuelled by ambition and passion, Eva Perón rose from poverty to become the most powerful woman in Latin America. A symbol of hope to many Argentines, her star shone brightly as she captured the nation's heart and divided its soul'. Rachel is no stranger to musical theatre and starred in Stephen Spielberg's Oscar winning adaption of West Side Story in 2021. Other famous faces to take on the iconic role Evita include Patti Lupone, Elaine Paige as well as mega Madonna in the 1996 movie version. Rachel was also recently spotted cosying up to her new boyfriend Nathan Fernand during a dog walk in Primrose Hill, London on Tuesday. The couple looked in good spirits as Nathan, who was previously a stripper on the London-based stage show, Magic Mike Live, wrapped his arm around the actress. The break dancer from Nottingham has appeared in shows such as Hamilton and the Lion King. The couple are believed to have met during Evita rehearsals which began in April for Jamie Lloyd's adaptation of the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Over the past year, Nathan has worked as a stripper on the Magic Mike Live show - a performance created by Channing Tatum based on the films he starred in by the same name. The 90-minute experience sees a cast of male dancers performing provocative routines, acrobatic acts and musical hits which 'celebrates female desires'.
