"Once in France, we were privileged to cycle through the Somme region and arriving in Paris on Day 4 was overwhelming.
"We want to thank everyone for all the support and donations. Our JustGiving page has now reached £11,000, making the £20,000 for this year and £200,000 overall within reach."

Love Island spoilers: Meg and Dejon clash AGAIN over chemistry with Yas and another couple are abruptly dumped
Friday's instalment of Love Island sees Meg and Dejon clash yet again over Yas while another couple is abruptly dumped from the villa. If one dumping wasn't enough, another couple will leave the villa after Thursday's episode of the ITV2 show saw Blu and Helena get the boot. It was shortly after eager fans spotted the boys filming in the village of Sant Llorenç in Mallorca - and Blu was nowhere to be seen. The boys all head out to get some bits from the shop ahead of their dates with the girls. They head off to the shops in high spirits to get a present for their other half. Despite the thoughtful gift, and cooking dinner for Meg, she argues with him about their co-star and his former fling Yas. The most recent episode of Love Island saw the couples take part in the Knowing Me, Knowing You Challenge. During one of the questions, Dejon picks Yas - who he had a flirt with at the start of the series. Meg is left feeling confused about the situation and decides to talk to Yas about it. She tells her: 'I've heard through the grapevine that you got the question wrong and D's name was written on the board. 'I wanted you to explain it because in challenges and stuff, everyone's always got a bad word to say about D. 'So, for you then to write him on the board, it was like "what's this about?" 'Am I missing something?' And although the boys have come back with thoughtful gifts and cooked dinner for their girls, Meg decides that it is the best time to bring the conversation up. But Dejon tells her: 'I can't believe these are our final days and we're arguing over Yas - change the topic.' 'You're still not getting where I'm coming from,' Meg tells him. And a confused Dejon asks: 'Where are you coming from? What is your point?' To make matters worse, one Islander gets a text that says: 'Islanders. The public have been voting for the most compatible couple. 'The couple with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from the island tonight is…' The next Islander to receive a text reads out who has been dumped from the show. Who do you think will be axed from the show next? Last night Love Island fans have claimed Dejon has ' shown his true colours' with a TV show comment and say he and Megan Moore 'won't last three months'. Viewers were left outraged after they witnessed Dejon be confronted by girlfriend Megan over his romantic confession for show favourite, Yasmin. On the show Dejon has come under fire for his behaviour towards Meg after keeping her around but continuously flirting with every bombshell that enters the villa. And while the couple have appeared to go from strength to strength as they are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend and confessed that they 'love' each other. But there seems to be trouble in paradise as Meg told Dejon he had not been completely honest once again about his antics around Yas. During a game of Knowing Me, Knowing You, the islanders were asked who they would couple up with if they were not with their current partners. Dejon confessed that he would couple up with Yas because he has previously explored that connection earlier in the season. The comment shocked Meg as she explained Dejon had never expressed that she would be his number two in the competition before. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Rebecca Loos reveals why she really signed up for Celebrity SAS as she fights back tears, is punched in the face and SHOT at in brutal first trailer for new series
Media personality Rebecca Loos has revealed the real reason she signed up for the ruthless Celebrity SAS - as she fights back tears, is punched in the face and shot at in a brutal first trailer. A new season of the knockout reality show will hit screens next month, and the Channel 4 favourite tracks 14 celebrities as they attempt to pass the gruelling SAS selection test. Among this year's recruits are Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Chloe Burrows, former footballers Adebayo Akinfenwa and Troy Denney, and The Traitors victor Harry Clark. The show is notoriously difficult, with contestants pushed to their physical and mental limits and often brought to tears or moved to flat-out defeat. This year, model-turned-yogi Rebecca Loos will embrace the challenge, and a gutting first trailer for the series shows the mother-of-two scrambling to drive away from a masked shooter. In another clip, the 46-year-old is seen fighting back tears as she says: 'I don't know if I can do this.' But the mother, who has become a well-known media personality over 20 years, was determined to best the challenge. 'I've had a lifetime of opinions around me and I have definitely become thick skinned,' she tells the camera defiantly. 'There's absolutely no way in hell I'm going to give up.' Rebecca's media career has included appearances on multiple high-profile shows, and she has also modelled for several magazines including Playboy, FHM and Nuts. However, behind the glamour, Rebecca's time in the spotlight has at times been trying. In 2009, while five months pregnant with her first child, she made a new life in Norway away from the spotlight, and qualified as a yoga teacher and A&E medical assistant. Rebecca's appearance on the tense show marks her gradual return to public life, and the television persona appears to have come back with fiery resolve. 'I said yes to this because I felt that it was a really good time in my life to do this,' she explained. 'I'd had a break from reality TV for a few years, become a mother, moved to Norway, changed quite a bit and when I was younger I loved doing extreme things. 'I was a finalist in Spanish Survivor where I was surviving on an island for three months in Honduras, and I've done quite a few extreme things and adventurous shows.' The hardy yogi felt the challenge would be 'interesting,' but revealed she did not prepare at all before undertaking the on-screen task. 'I really wish I had,' she lamented. 'I really wish I had spoken to somebody who had done it before.' Because of her home being outside of the UK, Rebecca felt she was out of touch with the realities of the programme - save the few clips she saw online. 'I really wish I'd spoken to someone who'd been in there. I didn't prepare as well as I should have, physically,' she continued. 'I just came out of our winter season. I live in a ski resort in Norway, so we have skiing here until May, and I left to do the show a week later.' Rebecca told how the Norwegian hiking season was just beginning as filming began, meaning her opportunities to hike and run were limited. But the experience was rewarding, nonetheless, and reflected Rebecca's journey from television star to spiritual guru. Although Rebecca is only in her mid-40s, she felt she was 'the oldest and least fit in the group,' which led her to struggle with the physical side more than with mustering mental strength 'I mean, obviously I had to overcome some fears,' she admitted. 'But I think for me it was more about seeing who I am today, compared to who I used to be 16 years ago when I was in shows and on television. 'It was about seeing who I've become and how I've changed, and being pushed and seeing how I handle that. 'It was more a personal decision for me to take part in this and be pushed to my limit.' On the whole, brave Rebecca insisted the show 'definitely lived up to her expectations'. 'It was amazing,' she said. 'It's a once in a lifetime experience, really, to be with these sorts of soldiers in these conditions. I would sum it up as a tough, raw experience.' Although Rebecca is only in her mid-40s, she felt she was 'the oldest and least fit in the group,' which led her to struggle with the physical side more than with mustering mental strength. 'That was quite hard,' she said. 'Which is why I guess that really ignited in me a mission to get into shape or at least get into a better shape. 'There was a boat challenge, when we had to blow up the boat and carry it for miles, that broke me.' Bonding over the daunting tasks that lie ahead, Celebrity SAS often sees close relationships formed between contestants. 'I very much liked everyone,' Rebecca said. 'I bonded a lot with Michaella [McCollum]. 'She's a mum and a single mum to two boys, so I bow down to her, wow.' Madrid-born Rebecca said she and boxer Conor Benn connected over his ability to speak Spanish, having spent many summers in Marbella. 'I was really impressed he spoke Spanish,' she added. 'They were all really nice. Adam [Collard] is a super nice, really nice down-to-earth guy, very open.' Of the military team leading the contestants, Rebecca said: 'They really inspired me.' 'I very much like how they instill in you that even though you want to give up, you don't. 'And it's easier to take the easy way out, but you've got to fight and push through, and push hard.'

‘Nobody wants this!' scream Love Island fans as controversial challenge returns and viewers threaten to ‘switch off'
THE iconic baby challenge is making a comeback to Love Island tonight but fans are feeling far from ready. In the coming episodes, viewers will witness the Love Islanders coupled up and doing their best to take care of a screaming baby doll. 4 4 The Love Island challenge is supposed to truly test all of the sets of couples to see if they can keep their cool and successfully look after a little one. For some, the challenge will bring them closer. But others may leave thinking twice about whether they wish to have children in the future. Fans of the show are far from happy to hear the news though, taking to social media to express their disappointment in seeing the challenge return. 'We wanted the tweet challenge back!! No one cares about some f*** ass baby dolls,' said one user. A second shared: 'I actually hate the baby doll challenge. Lol this is when I stop watching'. A third agrees: 'There is nothing I hate more than the baby challenge, actively skip it everytime.' The ITV2 show made the decision to axe the baby challenge after nine seasons back in 2023 to allow space to welcome new tasks and challenges to the show. A sports day event was instead switched in place that year, and saw the Islanders competed in various athletic and silly games. At the time, fans were sad to see the baby challenge go, deeming the replacement as 'boring and dull'. One Twitter user shared: 'All I wanted was Tyrella in the baby challenge. Was that too much to ask for???'. But this year it seems that viewers feel the opposite way. Lasting love has been found in the villa for ex-Islanders, including Molly-Mae Hague, 26, and Tommy Fury, 26, who made it through the baby challenge in 2019. The couple, who briefly split in August last year, welcomed their first child, daughter Bambi, back in 2023. With tensions already high between many of the duos in this year's lineup, including Dejon and Meg, it's going to be interesting seeing what unfolds. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2. 4 4
