Samsung may unveil tri-fold smartphone with Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 in July event
The upcoming tri-fold phone, rumoured to be called the Galaxy G Fold, would follow the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, which was the first tri-fold smartphone released commercially last year, according to a post on the Chinese platform Weibo. This new device could mark Samsung's entry into a more complex foldable phone design, which will expand its current lineup of dual-fold models.

Although Samsung has not officially confirmed the existence of the tri-fold device, it has previously displayed several related foldable prototypes, including concepts such as Flex Slidable, Flex S, and Flex G. These past models have showcased the company's research into flexible display technology and multi-fold designs.
Industry reports suggest that the Galaxy G Fold might carry a price tag of $3,000 (roughly Rs. 2.56 lakh). One notable feature could be its silicon-carbon battery, which aims to improve performance and battery life compared to earlier models.

The 'Interactive Number' watch face introduces a more dynamic and playful visual, while both 'Info Board' variants seem geared towards those who prioritise data visibility, with one featuring a gradient layout and the other a circular format. Late last month, we got a good look at the upcoming Samsung foldables in a series of leaked renders. One of the standout colours was a deep, rich blue — which looks to be the hero colour this year. And now, in a new leak, that same blue shade seems to be confirmed, as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has appeared in live images online. These photos, shared by tipster @Jukanlosreve and reported by Android Headlines, give us a proper glimpse of the actual hardware — not just renders — and there's quite a bit to take in. The blue variant, likely to be officially called Blue Shadow, looks every bit as striking in real-life photos as it did in the earlier renders. It's subtle but classy, and similar to the blue shade Samsung used for its Galaxy S24 series in 2024. The second major takeaway from the leak is the design. The Galaxy Fold 7 is clearly slimmer and sleeker than before. While we don't have precise measurements from the live images, earlier reports have pegged the phone's thickness at just 3.9mm to 4.5mm when unfolded — easily making it Samsung's thinnest foldable yet.
