'The rain had been nonstop, which most people would find messy and chaotic, but I feel it brings out a cinematic quality in the city,' he says. 'The wet streets become shiny and reflective, and at night it looks a lot like a painting. I ended up walking down Broadway as evening fell. It's an area that's already a visual spectacle – there are all these amazing retro marquees, billboards and neon signs. I spotted this sign reflected in a puddle just off the sidewalk and set up my composition.'
Nynatten didn't have to wait long for a person to pass by. He didn't speak to to the stranger, nor does he remember what was written on the sign, but, he says: 'I like that. It makes it abstract, enigmatic; it keeps people guessing.'
He later made minor adjustments to the brightness, contrast and white balance. Nynatten hopes that his images make people feel as though they have watched a 'really great five-second movie teaser. I find the pop of colour on an otherwise bleak sidewalk intriguing. It's a hint that there might be something exciting to see just off camera.'

If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more A LEGO enthusiast's latest search for deals at Walmart turned up big savings on fan-favorite sets. Shopping expert Angel Madison spotted popular sets on sale for up to 62 percent off. Some, including a personal favorite of Madison's, were down to as little as $5. 'I've done the work of scouring the Walmart website for deals at all price ranges, so you can grab a birthday gift or treat yourself in a major way,' she wrote for Country Living. 'If you are a truly last-minute shopper (like me) and even two-day shipping is too long, you can order most of these online, and pick it up at a store near you without leaving the car.' In-store, Madison follows a simple rule of thumb for LEGO sales: Aim for over 20 percent off on small to mid-size sets under $100, and look for 10 percent or more off on larger sets. 'LEGO sets are typically priced based on how many bricks are in the set, and for me, this over $30 and under $100 range is the sweet spot,' she explained. 'They are easy enough to build in a night, while still making an impressive addition to any book shelf.' The 62 percent off star of Madison's list is the Botanicals Field Flowers. 'I love dandelions, and currently have four of these in a bouquet because I buy them whenever I see them under $10,' she revealed. Customers looking for a more adult botanical set may also be interested in the plum blossom, a popular pick available for $24. 'Right now they are $5, and can be assembled in just a few minutes. I've already added another set to my cart.' She also praised the Peppa Pig DUPLO set, the $24 item suitable for children ages two and up that can float. While Madison did not reveal if she owns the Peppa Pig product, she proudly showed off two other favorites: the Disney and Pixar Up House and the Moana 2 HeiHei, which start at $38 and $32 respectively. 'The Up house proudly sits by my desk, and looks so fun with the colorful balloons on top,' she wrote, adding that the Moana HeiHei was 'a blast to assemble.' LEGO fans who aren't interested in Disney films can also purchase the Wicked Elphaba and Glinda duo, which costs $44 now that it's 20 percent off. Walmart shopper Angel Madison spotted fan favorite LEGO toys on sale for up to 62 percent off Besides the simple products, Madison revealed the must-have products that are worth looking at. 'The hard-to-find Back to the Future DeLorean is on sale, and it is one that I've seen sell out before,' she revealed. She also praised the Harry Potter castle set, which costs $141 when its 17 percent discount is applied. Out of all the products Madison has mentioned, the $180 A-Frame Cabin is her dream come true set, with 'charming details' like trees and animals. If Walmart sells out, shoppers can still find these sets at LEGO stores and .

And Just Like That star worries if they're to blame for axed Sex And The City reboot

An actor on And Just Like That is questioning if his character is to blame for the Sex And The City spinoff's recent cancellation. Following the bleak news, initially shared by Sarah Jessica Parker and creator Michael Patrick King, actor Jonathan Cake, 57, took to Instagram to reflect on his brief time on the show. He shared a photo of his character Duncan in bed with Sarah's main character, the divisive Carrie Bradshaw, and wrote in the caption, 'Wait, did i JUST KILL @justlikethatmax?' Adding a spoiler, he cheekily continued, 'Duncan finally has one night of passion with Carrie Bradshaw and the show's over…FOREVER??? Was it, judging by this picture, his surprisingly small head? Or something else a little underwhelming?' The playful note went on, 'Ah Duncan Donuts, I guess America won't run on Duncan, but it was exquisite pleasure while it lasted.' The actor also shared a behind-the-scenes snapshot of Sarah smiling while wearing eyeglasses. He shared a photo of his character Duncan in bed with Sarah's main character, the divisive Carrie Bradshaw, and wrote in the caption, 'Wait, did i JUST KILL @justlikethatmax?' In his message he named costars Sarah, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, creator Michael and producer John Melfi before writing, 'You gave the world SUCH joy for nearly thirty years. 'I don't think there's a higher calling for people in our business. You knocked it out of the park and it's still traveling, traveling, traveling. 'Thank you for having me on your team for a hot — a very hot — minute. You're all brilliant.' Cake joined the third and final season of the reboot as a writer who lived in the apartment underneath Carrie's. The two characters initially bumped heads before finding common ground in their writing careers. The most recent episode saw them take their relationship from professional to personal as they explored their romantic chemistry. Fans are now anxiously waiting to see how the final two episodes of the franchise will tie everything together. Sarah acknowledged the show's culmination with a heartfelt post shared on Instagram. Sharing a montage of photos from the history of the two series, she wrote a poem that read in part: 'She crossed streets, avenues, rubicons, so it seemed. 'She broke hearts, heels, habits. She loved, lost, won, tripped, leaped. Fell short and into puddles. 'Aged. Got wiser. She has made the hardest worst and best decisions. 'Traveled near and far. For the new. The vintage. Friends and love. 'Changed homes, time zones, boyfriends, her mind, her shoes, her hair, but never her love and devotion to New York City. 'She had dates, drinks, boyfriends. A husband and truly great loves and romances. 'She hailed cabs. She ran in heels. And danced with Stanford. She told the truth and she lied. 'She typed. Wondered. Wrote. Published. Grieved. Forgave. Got stood up. Stood strong. Stood out.'

Diddy to stay locked up in prison after being denied $50m bail ahead of sentencing for prostitution

SEAN "Diddy" Combs has been denied $50 million bail - for the second time - ahead of his October 3 sentencing on prostitution charges. Judge Arun Subramanian agreed with federal prosecutors' decision to keep the disgraced rapper locked up at MDC Brooklyn. 5 5 In a court order issued on Monday, the US district judge wrote there were no 'exceptional reasons' warranting Combs' release before his sentencing. The former music mogul reportedly filed a new motion for bail last week, offering a $50 million bail package in which he pledged to stay at his Miami home and restrict travel to Florida and New York. His legal team argued there is no binding precedent for keeping him in jail before sentencing - an argument Judge Subramanian rejected. They also claimed he is likely the only man in America jailed for hiring male sex workers to sleep with his girlfriend. But Subramanian dismissed this, stating that the case involved 'evidence of violence, coercion or subjugation in connection with the acts of prostitution'. When Combs' legal team raised concerns about his safety at MDC Brooklyn, Subramanian said staff protected Combs 'even during an incident of threatened violence from an inmate'. The judge added that the bail denial will not affect Combs' sentencing in 60 days' time. Combs faces a maximum 20-year prison sentence - 10 years for each count of transportation to engage in prostitution. However, federal prosecutors have said they would seek a three- to five-year sentence. On July 2, Combs was convicted on two prostitution-related counts, but was acquitted of the more serious charges he faced. Diddy is found GUILTY of prostitution but cleared of most serious charge He was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking in regard to his ex-girlfriends Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura and " Jane" (pseudonym). The music executive fell to his knees in prayer after the jury foreperson read the verdict. Combs' defence team delivered a post-verdict victory speech to reporters outside the US District Courthouse, calling the outcome a "great victory for the jury system". Agnifilo said the 12-person jury "got the situation right - or certainly, right enough". "We are not nearly done fighting. We're not going to stop until he walks out of prison a free man to his family," he added. Meanwhile, in their closing arguments, prosecutors described Combs as the "leader of a criminal enterprise", who used his expansive "wealth, power, violence, and fear to get what he wanted". The prosecution's case centred on disturbing and graphic testimony about drug-fuelled 'freak-offs' during which Combs allegedly coerced his ex-girlfriends into participate in sex acts with male escorts. Prosecutor Slavik told jurors that Combs forced Cassandra Ventura and 'Jane' into punishing sex marathons and - with the help of a close circle of 'loyal lieutenants' - concealed the alleged abuse. Ventura and "Jane" were sometimes required to engage in these acts - referred to as 'hotel nights' and 'wild king nights' - even while suffering from painful urinary tract infections (UTIs), according to prosecutors. Combs was first denied bail in November 2024 - shortly after his arrest in late September of that year. The time Combs has already served in jail - which will be over a year by the time he is sentenced - will be credited towards the final sentence imposed by the judge. 5 5
