Rapper MGK makes it to College football with ‘Don't Wait Run Fast' announced as ESPN's 2025-26 anthem
The song is set to feature on his upcoming album Lost Americana, slated for release on August 8. This marks the 12th season ESPN has partnered with an artist for its college football soundtrack, following last year's collaboration with Jelly Roll's 'Get By' and past contributions from acts like Post Malone and Fall Out Boy.

The song's selection aligns with ESPN's tradition of using music to ignite the season's excitement, with Curtis Friends, ESPN VP of marketing, touting it as the 'first spark' for fans.
'Music and college football have been intertwined for years, and our ESPN College Football anthem ushers in that first spark of the season. This 12th iteration, MGK brings a passionate, high-voltage sound that mirrors the raw emotion and untamed spirit of college football," Friends said in a statement.

This is not the first time MGK has featured on the college football scene. The 35-year-old performed on West Virginia University's campus last season. He sang a mashup of 'Lonely Road/ Take Me Home, Country Road'.
College football coverage kicks off on August 23 this season. All games will be covered on all of ESPN's platforms and ABC.

Epstein's townhouse was outfitted with surveillance cameras, including several installed in bedrooms. The report noted that photos of prominent world figures lined the house, including Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, Pope John Paul II, Elon Musk and Bill Gates. A letter from filmmaker Woody Allen was also found, describing Epstein's dinner parties as reminiscent of Dracula's castle, which had 'three young female vampires who service the place.' Other elements found inside included eerie taxidermy animals, a sculpture of a woman in a bridal gown hanging from a rope and a painting of former President Bill Clinton in a blue dress and red heels. The ICC confirmed that David violated Article 2.8 of its Code of Conduct, which pertains to 'showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match.' The incident occurred in the fifth over of Australia's innings when a delivery from Alzarri Joseph down the leg side was not called a wide. David reacted by stretching out his arms in protest and walking toward the umpire with his arms still extended — an action deemed inappropriate under ICC regulations. Since this was his first offence within a 24-month period, David was handed one demerit point in addition to the fine. He admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Reon King, avoiding the need for a formal hearing. The charge was brought by on-field umpires Zahid Bassarath and Leslie Reifer, with third umpire Deighton Buttler and fourth umpire Gregory Brathwaite also involved. Under ICC rules, Level 1 breaches can result in an official reprimand, a fine of up to 50% of the match fee, and one or two demerit points. Two suspension points equate to a ban from one Test or two limited-overs matches, depending on which format comes first. Demerit points remain on a player's record for two years.
