And the Scots star looked every bit delighted, as he gave a thumbs up in the group shot during the trip. Lewis was spotted hanging out with Dubliners Fontaine D.C - who took to the stage at Glasgow's TRNSMT festival earlier this month. Sam Fender, 31, also joined them in the photo as he cosied up to his actress girlfriend Rosa Collier, draping his arm round her shoulder. The tour guide company Killary Fjord Boat Tours posted the photo to Facebook, along with the caption: 'After all the excitement of having Lewis Capaldi and Fontaine DC aboard this weekend, here's the money shot, as captured by crew member Sinead, of the whole gang posing with the true star of Killary Fjord... our beautiful Connemara Lady!' Selfies featuring crew members with Lewis and Fontaine D.C's frontman Grian Chatten, 30, were also shared. One fan commented on the post: "Great photo, hope they enjoyed your great cruise." Another added: "Brilliant experience for them all." Praising the cruise, another said: "It's certainly spectacular." The firm gave an insight of what the famous party would have experienced as they sailed through the water, soaking in the stunning mountainous landscapes and unspoiled wilderness - including trying to catch a glimpse of seals, dolphins and seabirds in their natural habitat. "Our beautiful Connemara Lady offers the perfect vantage point to soak in every moment of this spectacular scenery. "Whether you're seeking relaxation or exploration, a Killary Fjord cruise creates memories to treasure." The much-earned Irish break with friends came after Lewis revealed in a podcast how he ballooned to 20 stone after his 2023 Glastonbury breakdown - but is battling back to health thanks to his fitness trainer brother and anti-psychotic pills. He spoke candidly on This Past Weekend with Theo Von, about the run up to the ordeal which lead to him taking a two-year break to focus on his mental health, Tourette's diagnosis and crippling anxiety. The talented star made a huge comeback to Glastonbury 's Pyramid Stage last month to play a surprise set - and has since confirmed he is hitting the road on a brand new tour in September. 4 Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender and the Irish band Fontaine D.C pose with their pals with the boat behind them Credit: Killary Fjord Boat Tours 4 Sam Fender took his girlfriend Rosa Collier along on the trip Credit: Alamy

Liam Payne leaves Building The Band viewers sobbing as he belts out One Direction hit before charging into Netflix audience to dance with fans in bittersweet moment
Liam Payne left Building The Band viewers sobbing as he belted out a One Direction hit before charging into the Netflix audience to dance with fans in a bittersweet moment from the show. The singer, who passed away on October 16 2024, appeared as a guest judge in the series alongside Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland - which concluded on Wendesday (23 July 2025). Liam filmed the show, which premiered on July 9, just months before his death - and followed 'gifted singers vieing for a chance to form the next great music group sight unseen, leaving looks out of the equation.' Now, a touching moment of the popstar singing along to One Direction's 2011 song What Makes You Beautiful has left fans very emotional. The start of the tune plays out to the audience and Liam instantly has a smile on his face as he taps his hand along to the beat. As the song gets to the chorus, Liam stands up and busts some moves on stage and the crowd go wild. They can't believe they eyes as he moves down to the live audience and sings along with them. Meanwhile Nicole and Kelly are bopping along to the beat in their chairs and clapping their hands. As he sits back down, co-star Nicole tells him: 'Let's go Liam! That was awesome.' With a grin on his face, Liam says: 'That was so fun.' Many rushed to the comments section on YouTube to share their love for the popstar. 'I was smiling from ear to ear. We miss you Liam.' 'We lost a true angel! It still doesn't feel real and probably never will! Rest in peace angel.' 'Just by hearing this song brings back nostalgia and the memories of my One Direction era, it's so sad that we lost Liam Payne, he was so joyful who loved all of his fans dearly and was amazing too, RIP to our wonderful icon, you shall be missed.' Liam filmed the show, which premiered on July 9, just months before his death - and followed 'gifted singers vie for a chance to form the next great music group sight unseen, leaving looks out of the equation' 'This just shows how wonderful of a man he is.' 'This made my heart smile and cry all at the same time.' 'Aww Liam. I hope he knew how beautiful he was. He should still be here enjoying the life he built. Miss you xx.' It comes after Liam' sister Nicola has paid tribute to the late singer on Instagram after watching him in Netflix 's Building The Band. Last week Nicola heartbreakingly admitted 'I hate that this happened' and feels she will 'never be able to process his passing', nine months after his tragic death. In the tear-jerking post, Nicola wrote: '9 months ago today, our lives changed forever. I still find it incredibly hard to process what happened. I'm not sure I ever fully will, or even want to. 'Liam, you are the most incredible person. For those of us lucky enough to know and love you, our lives were truly blessed. 'Today, the world gets to see just a glimpse of your passion and talent and wow, you are amazing in this show. 'You cared so deeply about the people around you. You wanted to make a difference, and you are lighting up that stage like you were born to do. 'You were made to be a judge, to guide, to encourage, and to let your voice be heard. Watching you in this show, I've never been more proud. 'I just wish you got to see it. It's everything we knew it would be when we were at filming. 'This show will forever hold a special place in my heart because it's one of the last times I saw you, and I got to witness you shine so bloody brightly, but it's also allowed me to still feel close to you. 'I love you so much, and I miss you even more. I hate that this happened.' Nicola and Ruth are Liam's two older sisters, making him the youngest of three siblings in the tight-knit family. Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean hosts the programme, with Nicole as the main mentor and judge, being joined by Liam and Kelly Rowland throughout the process. And reflecting on her time working with the late singer, the Pussycat Dolls star Nicole admitted: 'We got pretty close through this whole experience.' She told People: 'Liam is such a kind and beautiful heart, and selfishly I'm glad that I got to spend my time with him. I'm really happy that the world gets to see another one of his gifts, which is helping these blossoming artists, these bands. 'He was amazing. I was really impressed with him. He was just so giving and generous, even when the cameras weren't rolling, spending time with all the fans and singing to them. It was lovely to watch him in his element.' The star said it was 'beautiful' to be able to see Liam 'come full circle' after coming third on the X Factor in 2010 with One Direction. She said: 'I saw the joy it brought to Liam. I felt that this was his happy place. Like myself, AJ and Kelly, we've lived this. We've learned it.' Nicole continued: 'To be able to bestow any inspiration and knowledge and wisdom and experience on any of these contestants and these bands, it brought us all joy. Particularly Liam. 'I felt this really inspired him and this was his happy place. This was his happy place because Liam was such a beautiful heart, and he loved to give back. He loved to help.'
