Kevin Connolly has got engaged.
The Entourage actor has been dating Zulay Henao for seven years and on Friday (04.07.25), he popped the question in his hometown of Long Island, New York, in front of family members including their four-year-old daughter Kennedy.
Zulay, 46, told People magazine: "It was intimate, personal and so full of love. Having Kennedy there made it unforgettable."
Kevin got down on one knee to propose with a "timeless" and "elegant" diamond ring custom-designed by KC Sukamto. The jewellers created a "classic and modern" piece of jewellery featuring an emerald-cut solitaire with a hidden halo set in two-tone design with a gold band.
The happy couple then celebrated with fireworks and an intimate dinner with their close family.
Last month, the Modern Muze founder shared a touching tribute to Kevin on Father's Day.
Sharing a selection of family photos, she wrote on Instagram: "Happy Father's Day Papi! We love you babe, thank you for being our home! You are Daddying beautifully, just look at the smiles in these pictures… muah baby."
Kennedy was born amid the COVID-19 pandemic in June 2021, and the couple were in "awe" of their little girl.
Announcing the tot's birth, Zulay wrote on her Instagram Story at the time: "She's really sweet and patient so far, not too much crying, just really curious about her surroundings.
"I just watch in awe. She also has a huge appetite like her momma."
Just six weeks later, Kevin and Kennedy contracted COVID-19
Kevin told Victory the Podcast: "I like to think I'm a pretty responsible person, even now that I have a baby. But I don't know, man … whatever this new Delta variant is. F*** man, I got sick.
"It's been hard. Anyone that has a kid knows that it's hard when your kid is sick, you know? Because there's really nothing you can do for them."
Kevin explained that his symptoms were "brutal" - but he was trying his best to cope with the illness.
By contrast, he revealed that his daughter has been "doing great".
Kevin explained: "It's just the congestion part, but the fever is down and we're all back on the road to recovery. It's a close call."

Cierra Ortega Breaks Silence After ‘Love Island USA' Exit For Using Racial Slur Online

LOVE ISLAND USA — Episode 715 — Pictured: Cierra Ortega — (Photo by: Ben Symons/Peacock via Getty ... More Images) Cierra Ortega has issued an apology following her removal from Love Island USA Season 7. The former Islander spoke out for the first time on Wednesday, July 9, days after she was kicked off the show following the resurfacing of social media posts that showed her use of a racial slur. During Episode 30, narrator Iain Stirling announced Ortega's unexpected departure from the villa. 'Cierra has left the villa due to a personal situation,' he said. While the show did not offer further explanation at the time, her exit coincided with the resurfacing of Instagram posts in which the 25-year-old used a derogatory slur against Asians. After the posts came to light, fans called on the producers to remove Cierra from the villa — a response similar to the situation with Yulissa Escobar, who was kicked off the show weeks earlier for using racial slurs in multiple podcasts. Shortly before Cierra's removal, The Sun reported that Love Island USA execs were holding 'crisis meetings' to determine her fate amid the growing controversy. In an almost five-minute video posted to Instagram on July 9, the Los Angeles-based content creator explained that she had been back in the U.S. for two days and was now ready to address the situation without being 'highly emotional, because I'm not the victim in this situation.' "I want to first start by addressing, not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community," she began. "I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it. I had no ill intention when I was using it. But that's absolutely no excuse, because intent doesn't excuse ignorance." Ortega went on to explain that she had 'no idea that it was a slur' when she originally posted the Instagram Story in 2024. She said a follower later corrected her and informed her that the term was derogatory and 'incredibly hurtful.' "In that moment, I was embarrassed," she continued. "I, of course, immediately deleted the post. I was apologetic, and I educated not only myself on the true meaning and history of the word, but also anyone around me who was accidentally holding space for this slur." She added that she agreed with the show's decision to remove her from the villa, stating, 'I think that this is something that deserved punishment, and the punishment has absolutely been received.' Ortega acknowledged that the backlash has been 'extremely, extremely difficult,' particularly as people have begun targeting her family and loved ones. She claimed that someone even contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement about her family, who no longer 'feel safe in their own home.' LOVE ISLAND USA — Episode 722 — Pictured: (l-r) Cierra Ortega, Nicolas "Nic" Vansteenberghe — (Photo ... More by: Ben Symons/Peacock via Getty Images) "If you want to know that you are heard and that I'm sorry and that I will move differently, I promise you that's what will happen," she continued in her video. 'I know that no apology could ever be enough for the harm that I've caused and the offense that's taken place.' 'I know that moving forward, my actions and how I decide to live my life from here on out, is going to speak louder than any apology ever could. But I do need it to be known that I am sorry, and I did mean no harm,' she added. Ortega's apology comes after her parents shared a statement via her Instagram Story shortly after the July 6 episode, addressing the online hate they had been receiving. 'As Cierra's parents, this has been one of the most painful weeks of our lives. We've seen the posts, the headlines, the hurt and the hate. And while Cierra hasn't seen any of it yet, we have. And so have the people who love her,' they said. 'We're not here to justify or ignore what's surfaced. We understand why people upset and we know accountability matters. But what's happening online right now has gone far beyond that.' Her family promised that Cierra would "face this with honesty, growth, and grace" and "take responsibility" once she got her phone back. 'Until then, we're simply asking for compassion. For patience. For basic human decency. Not just for her, but for everyone caught in the middle of this.' At the time of her departure from Fiji, Cierra was coupled up with Nic Vansteenberghe. The pair had recently closed off their connection, but her exit left Nic single. That same night, he recoupled with Olandria Carthen for the second time. The July 10 episode will see another couple voted out of the villa, likely solidifying the final four couples heading into the finale. Love Island USA airs every day except for Wednesdays on Peacock. The Season 7 finale will air on Sunday, July 13 at 9 p.m. ET.

Savage First Trailer for Matilda Lutz's RED SONJA Movie — GeekTyrant

Millennium Media has finally released the first trailer for Matilda Lutz's live-action Red Sonja movie! A trailer was supposed to initially drop a couple of years ago at Comic-Con, but then never did. This movie is obviously going through some behind the scenes issues because it's taken so damn long just to get to the point of releasing a trailer. I've been very curious about this movie, and now we know what we're in for, and well… I guess it's what I should've expected. It looks like there will be some brutal and bloody action sequences, though! In the film, 'Enslaved by an evil tyrant who wishes to destroy her people, barbarian huntress Red Sonja must unite a group of unlikely warriors to face off against Dragan The Magnificent and his deadly bride, Dark Annisia.' The movie was developed by director M.J. Bassett ( Solomon Kane, Silent Hill: Revelation ). The movie also stars Wallis Day ( Sex/Life, Batwoman ) as Annisia and Robert Sheehan ( The Umbrella Academy, Misfits ) as Draygan. Additonal cast members include Michael Bisping ( xXx: Return of Xander Cage ) as Hawk, Martyn Ford as General Karlak ( F9: The Fast Saga, Final Score ), Eliza Matengu ( Thor: Love and Thunder ) as Amarak, Manal El Feitury ( Code Red ) as Ayala, and Katrina Durden ( Doctor Strange, Shadow and Bone ) as Saevus. The beloved She-Devil With a Sword's story began in comics in 1973, and now 50 years later she remains the greatest sword-and-sorcery female heroine of them all! She's hacked and slashed her way into the hearts of fantasy and comics fans all around the world. The movie will be released in theaters on August 15th and on digital platforms August 29th!

‘Love Island USA' Contestant Cierra Ortega Apologizes After Use Of Racial Slur Resurfaces

Cierra Ortega, one of the stars of Peacock's reality dating series 'Love Island USA,' addressed her controversial exit from the show and apologized for her past use of a derogatory term for Chinese people in a video posted Wednesday night, while urging viewers to stop sending her and her family threats. Cierra Ortega was removed from "Love Island USA" on Sunday. (Photo by: Ben Symons/Peacock via Getty ... More Images) Ben Symons/Peacock via Getty Images Ortega, who was removed from 'Love Island USA' on Sunday night's episode for a 'personal situation,' according to the show, confirmed posts that resurfaced in which she appeared to use a racial slur were authentic, though she had 'no idea' at the time the word was a slur. 'I am deeply, truly, honestly so sorry,' Ortega said, adding she had 'no ill intention' when using the word but acknowledged 'intent doesn't excuse ignorance.' During the nearly five-minute video, Ortega shared a screen recording of Instagram DMs shared between her and another user last year in which the user informed her the word was a slur, which prompted Ortega to apologize and remove the post. Ortega has faced a slew of backlash online since the posts resurfaced and said there is 'no need to fight hate with hate,' claiming viewers have sent her death threats and called Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities on her family. Ortega claimed some screenshots circulating social media that appear to show her doubling down on her usage of the word on Instagram are fabricated, and she said the word was 'removed from her vocabulary' after a user told her about its meaning in 2024. 'I completely agree with the network's decision to remove me from the villa,' Ortega said, stating the 'punishment has absolutely been received' but urged viewers to let her 'grow with grace.' Ortega was removed from 'Love Island USA' after screenshots depicting her using a racial slur referring to Chinese people in an Instagram post circulated social media. In the post, Ortega used the word to refer to her eyes while receiving a Botox brow lift procedure. While on the show, Ortega did not have access to social media, but her parents posted on her Instagram after Sunday's episode that the online response to her alleged old posts went 'far beyond' seeking accountability and had devolved into 'threats' and 'cruel messages.' Ortega was the second contestant to be removed from the show this season, following contestant Yulissa Escobar, who was removed in the second episode after videos resurfaced of her using the N-word on a podcast. Escobar apologized in social media posts after her exit, though she has also decried online bullying and said in an Instagram post some viewers have made it a 'mission to break people down, not just me, but everyone who stepped into that villa.' Why Did Some Fans Push For Cierra Ortega's Exit? The controversy over her alleged old posts went viral on social media, and the comment sections of many posts on the 'Love Island USA' Instagram account were flooded with fans demanding Ortega's removal. Some fans pointed to the earlier removal of Escobar as reason to remove Ortega. '[T]he hypocrisy of removing yulissa (who was rightfully removed) but not cierra….' one commenter said under a 'Love Island USA' Instagram post, receiving 10,000 likes. Some fans, however, expressed concern for Ortega's mental health and felt the criticism amounted to online bullying. A petition urging producers to 'acknowledge the racism against the Asian community and hold Cierra accountable for her blatant racism' garnered more than 17,000 signatures as of Monday morning. Ortega was in a relationship with Nicolas Vansteenberghe while on the show. After Ortega's exit was announced, the show cut to Vansteenberghe discussing Ortega with the rest of the men in the villa. 'Right before Cierra had left, my mind was clear. I knew what the future would look like, and now I'm lost,' he said. Later in the episode, the contestants were made to pick new partners in a 'recoupling.' Vansteenberghe was chosen by Olandria Carthen, with whom he had previously explored a relationship before becoming exclusive with Ortega. What Has The 'love Island' Cast And Crew Said About Ortega's Exit? Isabelle-Anne Walker, who went by the nickname 'Belle-A' on the show before she was eliminated after one week, posted a statement on her Instagram story criticizing Ortega's alleged use of the slur while objecting to the online hate directed her way. 'As a proud Asian American woman, I'm deeply appreciative of the 'Love Island USA' producers for taking a stand and making it clear that racism of any kind is not tolerated,' Walker said, while urging followers to 'think twice before leaving unkind comments to or about this person.' Ariana Madix, host of 'Love Island USA,' liked several comments on her TikTok account that suggested Madix was aware of Ortega's alleged resurfaced posts and had no responsibility over the show. 'How is Cierra saying a slur and the production not taking her off Ariana's fault?' one commenter said, which Madix liked. 'love Island's' Tragic History: 3 U.k. Deaths Two former contestants from the U.K. series, and former 'Love Island U.K.' host Caroline Flack, died by suicide after appearing on the show, and a U.K. Parliament committee launched an investigation into the ethics of the show in 2019. The U.K. version has since ramped up its mental health support for contestants, and Madix told NBC News the show offers mental health counseling for contestants both during and after the show. Key Background 'Love Island USA' previously issued a warning against online hate directed toward the contestants on June 24, telling viewers in an Instagram post: 'We appreciate the fans, the passion for the series, and the amazing group of Islanders who are sharing their summer with us. Please just remember they're real people - so let's be kind and spread the love!' The show did not specify which contestants had received online hate, but many fans speculated in the comments section the show was referring to contestant Huda Mustafa, whose contentious early relationship with Jeremiah Brown was a source of drama on the show. The show issued a similar warning to viewers last year before the season six reunion as contestants had received an onslaught of online criticism. The 'Love Island' franchise, particularly the original United Kingdom series, has faced scrutiny for its impact on contestants' mental health.
