PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN boss Luis Enrique faces a TOTAL coaching ban for his Club World Cup Final slap attack on Chelsea star Joao Pedro.
Spaniard Enrique lost control after his side crashed 3-0 to Chelsea in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.

After squaring up to the Brazilian striker, the PSG chief slapped him once to the side of the head, before players rushed in to separate the duo.
The incident sparked a major melee involving 20-plus players and staff from both sides.
Fifa is now poised to open a formal disciplinary probe into Enrique's behaviour.
But world chiefs are UNABLE to impose a specific match sanction because PSG and Enrique will not play any games under their jurisdiction until the Champions League winners represent Europe in the InterContinental Cup in December.
And that leaves a TIME penalty - a period in which the Catalan would be prevented from doing ANY training ground or match day work - as the most likely punishment if Enrique is charged with misconduct.
But midfielder Joao Neves will probably NOT be banned for his hair-tug red card on Marc Cucarella in the final moments of the match, under tournament-specific rules published by Fifa before a ball was kicked.
The likely punishment for Enrique was predicted by senior Spanish referee Eduardo Gonzalez, who said: 'Of course, you can be sanctioned.
'There's a difference, the red and yellow cards in the tournament will expire. But FIFA can sanction him with time.
'So, if Luis Enrique is given a one-month ban, he would miss any games in that month. What's more, he wouldn't even be able to train the team.'
He added: 'You can't touch an opponent's face. That's already a humiliating issue, that you have to go over and punch a player in the face when the game is over.
Luis Enrique explains why he slapped Joao Pedro in shocking bust-up after Chelsea's Club World Cup win over PSG
'I don't look at names, I look at the action, and if we look at the action, it's punishable.
'Fifa is above Uefa. If Fifa tells you there are three matches it's in their competition, but since in this tournament the yellow and red cards ended, FIFA can, on the other hand, sanction players based on time.'
The time-based penalty was handed out to former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez when he bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini in Uruguay's World Cup group game at the 2014 finals.
Suarez was initially banned from 'all football-related activities' for four months and banned for nine international matches, although an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport was partially successful allowing the striker to train with new club Barcelona.
Fifa have yet to confirm whether disciplinary procedures have been opened against Enrique or anybody else involved.
The PSG boss - who could now be banned for PSG's Super Cup meeting with Spurs in Udine on August 14 - attempted to downplay the incident in the aftermath of the defeat.
He said: "At the end of the match, there was a situation that was completely avoidable for everyone.
"My intention, as always, was to try to separate the players so that it didn't escalate.
'It was definitely avoidable; there was a lot of pressure. There were some problematic things coming from a lot of people. It's not the best way to attract attention."
Enrique appeared to be trying to pin the blame on Blues chief Enzo Maresca as he added: 'I have seen Maresca.
'I saw he had pushed others and we had to separate all the players and I do not know where that pressure came from.
"I have no problem expressing my feeling at the end of the game in a high level of pressure. It's very stressful for all of us. It is going to be impossible to avoid that.
"Everybody was involved. It was not what was best and the end result of the pressure of the match.
"But this is a situation we must all avoid. That goes without saying. My intention is that I wanted to separate the footballers, so the situations didn't become worse."
Joao Pedro, who scored the third goal of Chelsea's first half blitz, suggested the flare-up had been sparked by PSG players making a bee-line for Brazilian youngster Andrey Santos.
He said: 'I went to protect Andrey. I saw their players were crowding Andrey. Like a good Brazilian, I went to protect my friend.
'A lot of people were arriving and in that mess, I ended up getting shoved. It's part of it.
"I don't need to say anything more about them because it's normal. Everyone wants to win the game and, in the end, I think they lost their heads.
"But this is football, this has happened and now we need to enjoy it because we won the tournament, that's it. I don't want to talk too much about them because you know how it works. Football is this."
Neves' red card, though, will not bring a ban unless Fifa rule it deserves an extra punishment.
The regulations for the tournament state: 'Without prejudice to any other sanction that might result, any match suspension resulting from a player or official being sent off - as a result of a direct or an indirect red card - will not be carried over to another competition.'

New footage shows Donald Trump taking a Club World Cup winners' MEDAL as his gatecrashing escalates as it emerges he's keeping the original trophy in the Oval Office

New footage has shown US President Donald Trump receiving a winners' medal from FIFA president Gianni Infantino, before he joins Chelsea for their Club World Cup trophy lift. Trump was spotted among the Chelsea players as they lifted the new trophy, pictured alongside captain Reece James after the Blues had stunned Paris Saint-Germain with a 3-0 win in the final. Cole Palmer was the star of the show within the 90 minutes, with two goals and an assist for Joao Pedro to net the third in a rampant 45 minutes for the Blues. However, the celebrations were somewhat gatecrashed by the US President, who made a surprise appearance for the big moment. Trump was seen being handed a medal by Infantino, with pictures showing him holding onto the award during the ceremony. Yet Trump has now claimed that his involvement in the tournament has not ended with the trophy celebrations on Sunday, as he will now hold onto the real trophy, with Chelsea taking home a replica. Trump was seen still holding onto the prize later on in the victory ceremony on Sunday '[Fifa] is doing fantastically well for [football in America], it's a growing sport, it is a great sport,' President Trump told Dazn. 'They said: "Could you hold this trophy for a little while?". We put it in the Oval Office and then I said: "When are you going to pick up the trophy", and [Infantino] said: "We're never going to pick it up, you can have it forever in the Oval Office". 'And they actually made a new one [for Chelsea] but right now [the original] is in the Oval.' As such, Chelsea - who won the competition and pocketed a hefty prize purse - were given a replica version to take home. Clubs are usually given the legitimate trophy after winning silverware for their celebrations back home and open-top bus parades, with the cup later switched out. Mail Sport has approached FIFA for comment. Viewers of DAZN's coverage were also able to watch an unlikely exchange, as Infantino introduced Trump to Palmer, as the Chelsea and England star walked up to collect his player of the tournament prize. Lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman revealed Trump had words of admiration for Palmer, after watching his stunning performance in the final. ' Chelsea 's biggest fan. I'm a big fan of you. So well done you,' Trump said, according to Freeman. Palmer, who has be known to offer few words in post-match interviews, reportedly replied 'Thank you' before rejoining his team-mates. The 23-year-old's reaction to Trump's decision to remain on stage during Chelsea's trophy presentation, however, has garnered the biggest reaction from fans. The US President had been given the honour of presenting the trophy to Blues captain Reece James, with the expectation that he would then step aside, as it customary. Infantino was seen attempting to usher Trump away from Chelsea players, but the US president remained in place, standing either side of James and Sanchez. Trump's refusal to leave the stage left Chelsea players bewildered with Palmer appearing to say, 'What's he doing?'. Speaking post-match, Palmer admitted 'I knew he was going to be here but I didn't know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy so I was a bit confused, yeah.' Further light has been shed on Trump's presence in the trophy presentation, with his interactions with Chelsea captain James and goalkeeper Sanchez having been revealed. Palmer had appeared baffled by Trump's continued presence during the trophy presentation Palmer admitted at a press conference that he was 'a bit confused' by the situation While Palmer appeared confused in the background, Freeman revealed James had asked for Trump's permission to lift the trophy. As Palmer said 'No, no, just wait, wait…wait…wait', James was seen turning to the US President to seek his approval. James reportedly said 'I can lift?', with Trump responding 'Oh we can, good!' According to Freeman, Sanchez had been open to Trump remaining on the stage and being part of the celebrations. 'Please, sir,' the goalkeeper said to Trump, according to Freeman, before asking him 'Want us to lift the trophy next to you?' With Trump having signalled his approval, Sanchez was seen motioning for James to lift the trophy and kick-start the celebrations.

Trump says he spoke to FBI boss amid Epstein uproar

Donald Trump said he tried to talk Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino down from quitting over the Justice Department's handling of the Epstein files. The president told reporters on Sunday that he spoke to Bongino amid rising reports that he would resign his post. As a popular pro-MAGA right-wing podcaster before joining the FBI, Bongino touted conspiracies that convicted sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in jail to prevent the list of his high-profile clientele from reaching the light of day. Bongino was irate when the DOJ, which he works under as No. 2 at the FBI, concluded in its review of the files that the initial findings that Epstein killed himself in prison were true. A DOJ insider told the Daily Mail on Friday that if Attorney General Pam Bondi keeps her job, Bongino will leave his. But after a weekend to cool off and a conversation with Trump, Bongino appears to be backing off those threats to vacate his post at the FBI. Asked on Sunday if Bongino remained in his position, Trump said: 'Oh I think so.' 'I spoke to him today,' he added. 'Dan Bongino, very good guy. I've known him a long time. I've done his show many, many times. He sounded terrific, actually.' A White House insider tells the Daily Mail that Vice President JD Vance was part of the conversations over the weekend urging Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel to stick around despite their disappointment with the handling of Bondi's review of the Epstein investigation. Trump's conversation with Bongino is part of a continued effort to quell the rising chorus of MAGA voices furious over the DOJ memo last weekend that agreed with initial findings that Epstein killed himself. The unsigned memo leaked to Axios asserted there was no 'client list,' even though Bondi has said the materials were on her desk ready for review and release. She now says that all of the 'files' were child pornography that will 'never see the light of day.' Multiple outlets reported that Bongino got into a heated exchange with Bondi on Wednesday over the issue of the Epstein files. This led to other reports, including from the Daily Mail, confirming the deputy FBI director was considering stepping down. Many Republican, conservative and pro-Trump voices have joined Democrats who are not pleased with how the DOJ review has gone. 'Where's the press conference? Why drop an unsigned memo on a Sunday night to Axios? Why not stand and take all the Qs?' political commentator and right-leaning journalist Megyn Kelly lamented in a post to X on Sunday. Far-right media personality Laura Loomer warned Republicans that the lack of revelations in the Epstein case will cost them elections in the future. 'People make their own choices and decisions, but mark my word, the lack of actual results at the DOJ and lack of transparency that translates into incompetence will cost the GOP House and Senate seats.' 'Don't say I didn't warn you,' she added. And even Billionaire Elon Musk took a side when he unfollowed Bondi on X. Trump is sticking by his AG, calling his base 'selfish' for 'going after' her. 'We're on one Team, MAGA, and I don't like what's happening,' the president lamented on his Truth Social on Saturday. 'We have a perfect Administration… and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein.' He then said that the files were written by Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan. He said it was up to them to release the files. 'They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier that they used on me, and now my so-called 'friends' are playing right into their hands,' Trump wrote in his lengthy social media post. 'No matter how much success we have had… it's never enough for some people.' The president claims that Bondi has more important work to do then spending more months on looking at the Epstein files. 'Let's keep it that way, and not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about,' he concluded. But as much as Trump tries to stop the hate from flowing Bondi's way and the more he tries to downplay the importance of the Epstein files, the more his base leans into demanding that everything he DOJ has be brought to light. Loomer helped lead the demands for Bondi to exit her post last week over the 'failure.' 'Please join me in calling for Blondi to RESIGN!' Loomer posted to X last Monday, using her nickname for the blonde-haired AG. 'How many more times is this woman going to get away with Fing (sic) everything up before she is FIRED?' she added. On his podcast, conservative luminary Tucker Carlson theorized that Bondi is orchestrating a cover-up in order to protect members of the intelligence community who were ensnared in Epstein's conduct. 'The current DOJ under Pam Bondi is covering up crimes, very serious crimes by their own description,' Carlson said. 'Intel services are at the very center of this story, U.S. and Israeli and they're being protected.'
