Over 100 designer handbags stolen in burglary in Alderley Edge, Cheshire
The victim is offering a £10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction, according to Cheshire Constabulary.
The stolen bags, which include bespoke ones made by the luxury brand Hermes, were taken from a property in Alderley Edge - a village home to several Premier League footballers and known for featuring in reality TV programme The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
Police were called to the property on Macclesfield Road on Monday - but detectives believe the incident took place a week earlier.
The force said rare and one-of-a-kind handbags were among the items taken.
"On Monday 17 February between 7pm and 11pm, unknown offenders gained access to the side of the property using a ladder and entered through a skylight," a police spokesperson said.
"The offenders are believed to have left the property along Macclesfield Road."
Jewellery and a gold watch were also taken, the force added.
The £10,000 reward is being offered through the unnamed victim's insurance company.
Police are also appealing for information and witnesses following the raid.
Detective Sergeant Laura Fox said in a statement: "Our enquiries are ongoing, and we would urge anyone who witnessed this incident or saw anything suspicious to get in touch with us.
"The same goes for anyone with dashcam footage or CCTV which might aid our investigation.
"We also want to hear from anyone who thinks they may have information regarding the whereabouts of the items that were stolen."

Harry Redknapp's Dorset mansion has been raided by masked robbers who stole his wife's jewellery. The former Premier League boss and wife Sandra, both 78, were out at the time of the break-in at their £5 million home in Sandbanks last Friday night. The hammer-wielding thieves are understood to have made off with jewellery belonging to Sandra and other luxury items after smashing through the front door. One theory detectives are said to be investigating is that the gang may have gone onto an online selling agents' to scope the house's floorplan before embarking on the raid. A source told The Sun: 'It was clearly organised. The raiders must have known the house was empty.' They added: 'The criminals would only have to keep watch on the property and break in once the coast was clear, knowing the full layout of the house in advance.' Redknapp was reportedly at a function that evening, while his wife was in London. A spokesman for the former Spurs, West Ham and Portsmouth manager said Harry doesn't 'want to make a fuss' and that it is 'a matter for the police'. Dorset Police confirmed they are investigating a report of a burglary at an address in Poole. No arrests have yet been made.
