Isaiah Thomas gets 53 points for the Boston Celtics in an all-time performance
And no moment in Celtics history made that clearer than Thomas putting up an absurd 53 points against the Washington Wizards in the 2017 NBA Playoffs after hours in a dentist chair to repair teeth broken in Game 1 of the series, and fresh on the heels of the loss of his sister Chyna in a tragic car accident.
The folks behind the "NBC Sports Boston" YouTube channel put together a clip of that flashbulb moment in Boston history. Check it out below, whether it is to reminisce, or see it for yourself for the first time. If the latter, we promise you it will be worth your time in particular.

Bucks trade proposal nets massive return for two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Milwaukee Bucks have publicly denied rumors of trading franchise cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo, but the possibility remains if their retooled roster doesn't pan out. In an attempt to stay competitive in a wide-open Eastern Conference, Milwaukee signed Myles Turner to a four-year, $108.9 million contract, waiving and stretching the remaining $113 million on Damian Lillard's contract over the next five seasons. The team also re-signed several key rotation players. However, if Milwaukee's offseason additions don't yield the desired results, it wouldn't be surprising to see Antetokounmpo request a trade. MORE: Bucks' offseason labeled 'desperate' by NBA writer after bold moves According to Alan Goldsher of the Boston Celtics could put together an impressive package for the two-time MVP — one that could help the Bucks stay competitive while building toward the future. Here's Goldsher's proposed trade: Bucks receive: Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard, Anfernee Simons, 2026 first-round pick, 2028 first-round pick, 2030 first-round pick Celtics receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo, A.J. Green While at least one additional team would be needed to make this deal financially viable, the Bucks would net a solid return. Brown, a four-time All-Star and prolific scorer, would step into a true No. 1 role in Milwaukee. Pritchard, the 2024-25 Sixth Man of the Year, would likely take on an expanded role, while Simons — on an expiring contract — would give the team added cap flexibility after the 2025-26 season. Milwaukee seems highly unlikely to trade Antetokounmpo at this time, but a lackluster start to the season could prompt the superstar to request a trade. Boston has the assets to make a deal happen, and the Bucks could remain competitive while planning for the future. Introducing: Timothée Chalamet for Cash App
DISTRIBUTED-WORK-MODEL/SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Cash App announced Timothée Chalamet as the platform's newest collaborator, marking the actor's first-ever partnership with a financial services platform. The integrated brand campaign includes a 2-minute commercial spot, out-of-home advertising across New York City and Los Angeles, limited edition Cash App Card stamps designed with Chalamet, and more. Previous Chalamet collaborators Aidan Zamiri and Elijah Bynum were enlisted to direct and write the advertisement. The spot offers a glimpse into differing intergenerational views around money, with Chalamet unwittingly bridging the divide between a father and son. Chalamet visits a produce store selling rare vegetables and learns something peculiar: the owner only accepts antiquated forms of payment including iron ingots, salts, and cowrie shells. The owner's teenage son, played by Izaac Wang ('Didi'), argues that these outdated currencies aren't best serving his father and offers banking through Cash App as a better, modern solution. As Chalamet looks on with his mangelwurzel in hand, the shopkeeper has a breakthrough moment and realizes that embracing easy-to-use financial tools doesn't change who he is or his values. The advertisement is currently in movie theaters across the United States airing before the blockbuster hit Superman, and will also appear ahead of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Today, the spot was published on Cash App's social media channels. Content related to the campaign was also posted on Chalamet's social media channels. Click here to watch the full video on YouTube. 'We wanted to give Timothée a platform to encourage open conversations around money across age groups in a way that felt fresh and authentic to who he is as an artist,' said Catherine Ferdon, Chief Marketing Officer at Cash App. 'We've always empowered our partners to use their own voice and creative lens when sharing Cash App with their audiences, and we're thrilled to continue that momentum with one of the most prominent and influential actors of his generation.' 'Financial literacy across all age groups is important and this spot seeks to emphasize that,' added Chalamet. In the coming months, Cash App will introduce limited edition Cash App Card stamps designed with Chalamet. Follow the Cash App Newsroom and social channels for more updates. Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball embark on exciting new project together
If there were any two radio icons we all wanted to join forces, Zoe Ball and Jo Whiley would be up there. Set to be their first official project together after over 30 years of parallel careers, the duo have teamed up for a fun, new venture. Launching their very own podcast called 'Dig It', it is now available to stream on all podcast platforms, or watch it in full on YouTube and Spotify from today (16 July). Sharing their news on the @digitpod Instagram page, the pair shared a video of them discussing the first episode and the topics they're set to cover. Produced by Persephonica, two episodes will be released every Monday and Wednesday every week, plus there'll be bonus content for subscribers. If you're wondering what the podcast will entail, the synopsis reads: "Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball lift the curtain on the messy, everyday reality of trying to live well. With over 30 years of friendship, Jo and Zoe invite listeners into their regular catch-ups. From family life and home improvements to health, ageing, and the things that make them laugh until they cry." While Jo still presents on BBC Radio 2 on weekday evenings, Zoe announced she was stepping down from the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show in December last year, after holding the role for six years and making history as its first female host. This time, they're both trying their hand at podcasting, and we certainly can't wait to listen to it!
