England hoping to give fans more to shout about on final day, says Trescothick

Fourteen wickets fell on day four, the hosts cut down for 192 before fighting fire with fire to leave their opponents 58 for four.
Both sides are hopeful of taking a 2-1 series lead, with England hunting six more wickets and India needing 135 runs.
A magical final session of incredible theatre 😍

And there will not be a spare seat in the house, with £25 tickets flying out of the door as 30,000 fans secured a cut-price spot at the home of cricket.
The away support has been in good voice throughout this tour but it was the English contingent who roared the loudest late on. Joe Root took on Stuart Broad's old role as cheerleader, gesturing for a late show of support as Ben Stokes tore in to dismiss Akash Deep with the last ball of the day.
'If we can create an atmosphere like that (we will). The buzz around the ground gave the boys the lift they needed and a couple of late wickets gives us hope that we are bang on the money,' said assistant coach Marcus Trescothick.
'It might take another wicket to get it like that or for Joe to wind them up again, but the support has been brilliant throughout.
'That last hour, with the support and the energy around the ground was amazing. Everybody was invested. From an England point of view it's brilliant. We love those situations where the crowd is really behind the team. Hopefully we get more of that tomorrow and push on to win the game.'
After the two sides traded good-natured wins at Headingley and Edgbaston, tensions have risen over the past couple of days.
Things escalated when Zak Crawley and Shubman Gill clashed over a time-wasting row on Saturday evening and Mohammed Siraj may find himself out of pocket after his angry send-off of Ben Duckett concluded with a brush of shoulders.
Trescothick insisted England had no qualms about the rising emotions.
'Both teams are passionate about playing the game and it is understandable that at times it gets to a boiling point,' he said.
'There will be things that happen between the two teams but both teams know there's a line you can't cross but it's not really been troubled too much. It helps the atmosphere in the series.'

Spinner Washington Sundar echoed those sentiments, adding: 'Aggression is always inside of us, in both dressing rooms I'd say. There was an incident that happened and it came out last evening and it came out quite a bit today as well.
'This is sport, everyone is quite aggressive and quite intense in their own way. If you're an athlete it's a common factor.'
England's own off-spinner Shoaib Bashir batted at the end of the innings but did not take the field with his team-mates as he continues to protect an injury to the little finger of his left hand.
Trescothick confirmed that he had been cleared to bowl on day five but could continue to use a substitute fielder.

Rangers beat Italian club to signing as big things predicted

The Ibrox club are believed to have paid around £3.5million to sign the central defender from the English League One side as Russell Martin bolsters his defence. The 23-year-old is highly thought of at Peterborough after impressing last season having taken time to settle following his move from non-league Ramsgate. Fernandez had previously passed up on the opportunity to go to Norwich and MacAnthony has been asked why this deal was the right one for both player and club. Read more: He told the Up the Posh podcast: "Rangers is one of the biggest clubs in Britain. I'm not a Rangers fan, but at the end of the day it is a massive football club. "We knew Rangers were in for him. Russell had tipped off the manager that he was on their radar. "Barry had been working on it for five weeks. But here's the thing, there was an Italian club that just got promoted from Serie B or whatever it's called that were also at the table bidding, in the many bidders. "Here's what will blow your mind. A lot of recruitment now is data driven. If you look at the data sites and look at centre halves under 24 that have 68-plus percent aerial win rate, Manny is way up there. "Throw in the fact people would watch the Everton game in the cup, the Birmingham game at Wembley. You look at Manny in those games. "I think Manny will kill it in Scotland. I think Rangers have got a bargain and we'll make millions more." The three Italian sides promoted from Serie B were Sassuolo, Pisa and Cremonese.

Ex-Arsenal star admits he 'may get attacked' for verdict on Viktor Gyokeres deal

Arsenal are closing in on a £63.5m deal with Sporting Lisbon for primary target Viktor Gyokeres, but former Gunners star William Gallas has warned the striker he will have to make "two or three steps up" in the Premier League Former Arsenal star William Gallas has warned Viktor Gyokeres he may need to make "two or three steps up" when he arrives in the Premier League, insisting it will be hard for him to adapt to the rigours of the English top flight. The Gunners are closing in on the signing of £63.5m Gyokeres after reaching a breakthrough in talks with his club Sporting Lisbon, in what is a huge boost for Mikel Arteta amid his search for a top quality striker. Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 games for Sporting last season and is being tipped to help Arsenal end their trophy drought and compete regularly for the Premier League title. Last season Arsenal played much of the campaign without a recognised No.9 and fans are celebrating the impending arrival of Gyokeres, but former defender Gallas has warned excited supporters that the Swedish star may take time to get up to speed in England. Gallas conceded he "may get attacked" for his opinion that Gyokeres had a bigger advantage against defenders in the Portuguese league. "He's not just making one step up. It's more like two or three steps, from Sporting to Arsenal right now," Gallas told Genting Casino. "He'll be playing against defenders who are really strong, maybe the strongest. In the first season, he will need to adapt. He's tall, he's massive, so I may get attacked for saying this but in Portugal, he had a much bigger advantage on the defenders. He will need to adapt to the Premier League defenders quickly." Gallas, who played 142 times for Arsenal, said he hoped Gyokeres was an immediate success at the Emirates but told fans not to be surprised if he was better in his second season. "There's a chance that his second year is much stronger than his first year at Arsenal," he added. "But Arsenal will not be wanting to wait for a major trophy any longer. And the signing of a striker is seen as that last piece of the puzzle to do exactly that. "I hope that, if he comes in, he comes in and hits the ground running. We've all been waiting for Arsenal to sign a killer. Only time will tell if Gyokeres is an assassin in the Premier League." It's understood Gyokeres has already agreed personal terms on a five-year deal with Arsenal, who hope to have him in time for their pre-season tour in Asia. The deal has been far from straight forward, with Sporting initially playing hardball after Arsenal's bid of £60m was rejected, with Gyokeres going on strike to force a move.
