Telegram Outlets Linked To Iran-Backed Militias Publish Posters Asserting Iran's Nuclear Capability, Despite Recent U.S. Airstrikes
Telegram channels affiliated with Iran-backed Axis of the Islamic Resistance have published posters indicating that Iran's nuclear program retained significant strength despite recent U.S. airstrikes targeting its nuclear reactors.
These airstrikes, conducted on June 25, 2025, aimed to disrupt Iran's nuclear facilities amid escalating tensions in the region following Iran's continued enrichment of uranium.
The posters attempt to assert Iran's resilience and nuclear capability despite recent U.S. airstrikes, and to spread doubt among adversaries about the effectiveness of those strikes.
The "Mujaz" Telegram channel released a 15-second clip on June 27, showing a pair of hands reaching upward toward a glowing, ethereal light with mathematical equations and scientific symbols floating between them. The equations include Albert Einstein's energy formula "E = mc2," along with various constants and variables.
At the top, Arabic text reads: "The nuclear program is Iran's striking power in the future." [1]
On June 26, the channel also shared a second poster featuring three rockets against the backdrop of the Iranian flag, with Arabic text stating:
"It is possible that some of Iran's enriched uranium survived, and that a large part of Iran's missile arsenal still exists, and the Iranians, known for their prowess at playing chess, will try to use it."
The text references a columnist, Afi Peskharov, writing in an Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth.[2]
Additionally, "The Iranian Military Capacities," a channel linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), published, on June 26, a poster depicting armed, masked operatives gaurding scientists working in a lab and eying a clock while a pair of hands sign a document.[3]
The poster implies that Tehran is planning an operation that involves scientists in the near future.

Trump not going to stand for Netanyahu's continued prosecution
Washington – President Donald Trump said Saturday the United States was 'not going to stand' for the continued prosecution of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on corruption charges. 'The United States of America spends Billions of Dollar a year, far more than on any other Nation, protecting and supporting Israel. We are not going to stand for this,' Trump posted on his Truth Social platform. An Israeli court on Friday rejected Netanyahu's request to postpone giving testimony in his corruption trial, ruling that he had not provided adequate justification for his request. In one case, Netanyahu and his wife Sara are accused of accepting more than $260,000 worth of luxury goods such as cigars, jewelry and champagne from billionaires in exchange for political favors. In two other cases, Netanyahu is accused of attempting to negotiate more favorable coverage from two Israeli media outlets. Netanyahu has denied any wrongdoing and has thanked Trump for his support in Israel's war with Iran, which saw a ceasefire agreement earlier this week. His lawyer had asked the court to excuse the leader from hearings over the next two weeks, saying he needs to concentrate on 'security issues.' Trump on Wednesday sprung to Netanyahu's defense, describing the case against him as a 'witch hunt.' On Saturday, he described Netanyahu as a 'War Hero' and said the case would distract the prime minister from negotiations with Iran and with Hamas, the Gaza-based Palestinian armed group that Israel is at war with. 'This travesty of 'Justice' will interfere with both Iran and Hamas negotiations,' said Trump, although it was unclear what negotiations he was referring to with regards to Iran. Hamas took 251 hostages during its October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, with 49 still believed to be held in Gaza, including 27 the Israeli military says are dead. Negotiations are ongoing for the return of the remaining hostages and the bodies of those killed, while Israel's punishing war on Gaza continues unabated. The US leader also likened Netanyahu's legal troubles to his own before he took office for his second term. 'It is a POLITICAL WITCH HUNT, very similar to the Witch Hunt that I was forced to endure,' said Trump. The Republican was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records in May 2024 in a case related to hush money payments to a porn star. Trump also faced two federal cases, one related to his alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, which he lost to Democrat Joe Biden.

MEI: Iraq "tries to Assert State Authority during Crisis"
By Robert S. Ford for The Middle East Institute. Any opinions expressed here are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of Iraq Business News. Iraq tries to assert state authority during crisis The Iraqi government has long navigated a path between maintaining political ties with its Iranian neighbor and Tehran's allies inside Iraq on the one hand, and preserving its security relationship with the United States on the other. Unsurprisingly, it quickly welcomed US President Donald Trump's June 23 Israel-Iran cease-fire agreement. Click here to read the full article.

Israel says senior Hamas commander killed in Gaza strike
Shafaq News – Gaza The Israeli military announced on Friday that it had killed Mohammad Issa Al-Issa, a senior commander in Hamas's military wing, during an airstrike in Gaza City. In a joint statement, the Israel Army and the Shin Bet described Al-Issa as one of Hamas's founding members and a central figure in the group's military leadership. He was said to have served as the head of combat and logistical support operations within the organization. Israeli authorities stated that Al-Issa had previously led Hamas's force-building programs in Gaza, headed the group's military training command, and was a member of its General Military Council. He was also reportedly involved in planning and executing the October 7 attacks, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Israeli civilians and soldiers. According to the statement, Al-Issa continued to operate in a senior capacity during the current conflict, promoting what it described as 'terror plans from air and sea' targeting both Israeli civilians and troops. He was also said to be playing a role in reconstructing Hamas's damaged military infrastructure amid ongoing hostilities. The statement emphasized that Al-Issa was among the last remaining high-ranking Hamas commanders in Gaza who held a senior position before October 7. Israeli forces described him as a 'central hub of knowledge' within the group's military structure. There has been no immediate comment from Hamas on the reported killing.
