The Indiana Dunes in northern Indiana tower almost 200 feet above the lake and have formed over thousands of years.
It's also a spot to enjoy miles of sandy beaches and nature preserves. Here's a look at what you should know if you're heading up to the lake this holiday weekend.

It's $15 per person; $20 for a motorcycle; or $25 for a private vehicle, and can be purchased on site or online. There's also an annual national park pass for $45 and a National Park Service pass for $80.
Find more information about fees and passes at nps.gov.
The state park includes more than 1,500 acres of nature preserves and landmarks. The daily entrance fee is $7 per vehicle for Indiana residents; and $12 for nonresidents.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Step Out for a Rare Public Date in Saint-Tropez

THE RUNDOWN Kylie Jenner's European vacation started in Venice and is continuing in Saint-Tropez with her partner of two years, Timothée Chalamet. The couple was photographed in the French Riviera city, holding hands as they walked along Shellona Beach. Jenner wore a cream and black striped dress, while Chalamet stood out in a green bandana, Nike baseball cap, and green jersey. You can see the photos here. This is the couple's first public sighting since their Knicks game date on May 31. Jenner sparked headlines last week when she followed Chalamet on Instagram—a move that drew attention since the actor doesn't follow anyone on the platform, and she is known for keeping her following list selective. Just weeks earlier, on May 21, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight about Jenner's hope for a serious, long-term future with Chalamet. 'Kylie thinks Timothée is so great with her kids, and she has told her closest friends that she would love to have another baby with him some day,' the insider said. They added that Jenner is 'so in love with Timothée. She loves learning about his world and supporting him whenever she can.' Jenner hasn't spoken about the relationship herself. In her ELLE cover story this past fall, Jenner explained that she prefers to keep her love life private. 'I think it's important to keep things to yourself,' she said. 'It's hard for me to make a decision by myself sometimes, so the opinion of the whole world…it can be tough.'

‘Red, White & Y'all': Patrick and Brittany Mahomes party on a yacht in Miami

No work, all play. The clock is ticking for when Patrick Mahomes has to suit up with the Kansas City Chiefs again, but until then, he's enjoying his down time. The quarterback was in Miami with some pals celebrating the July 4 holiday, with wife Brittany documenting the festivities on Instagram. On Sunday, the mom of three posted snaps from aboard a yacht with the Magic City's skyline in the background. 'Red, White & Y'all,' said the caption. Mahomes' friend Cassidy Greinert also shared a few pics from the day at sea. Everyone in the party — we counted seven couples in total — was color coordinated in red, white and blue. All the ladies in the group were also sporting hats that said the year '1995,' so it's safe to assume they were celebrating someone's 30th birthday. Teammate Travis Kelce — who had been renting a house in the off season in Boca Raton — and his girlfriend Taylor Swift were not seen on board. While some Swifties assumed the couple would be in Rhode Island at the pop star's retreat, where she threw a blowout party back in 2023, no such luck. It's unclear where the 35-year-old lovebirds rang in the holiday and watched fireworks. There's a possibility the tight end may have already left the Sunshine State, though. According to the Columbus Dispatch, he and Swift were last seen on a lunch date in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, outside Cleveland, the baller's hometown. The clock is ticking for Kelce, too. The Chiefs start training camp July 22 at Missouri Western State University, located in St. Joseph, Missouri, about an hour north of Arrowhead Stadium. First game is Aug. 9, against the Arizona Cardinals on their home turf at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

LPGA Legend Nelly Korda Calls out Delta Airlines for Losing Luggage

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. When you're the No. 1 golfer in the world, you expect your clubs to make it to the tee box with you. But for Nelly Korda, her latest trip began not with a practice round, but with a plea for help. On Sunday, the LPGA star called out Delta Airlines on Instagram after all of her luggage went missing en route to Europe. "And all of my bags are lost! @delta plz help 🥲," she wrote, overlaying a photo of her lone silver cabinet bag. (Photo by) More Getty Images Just hours earlier, Korda had posted a cheerful story showing four oversized suitcases and her golf travel bag lined up at the airport. "Packing light? Idk her! One month on the road. And yes, every bag is overweight," she joked. But the mood quickly shifted as she landed with nothing but her TUMI 19 Degree Aluminium Continental Carry-On, a approx. $1,600 bag she carried. Korda is currently headed to France for the Amundi Evian Championship taking place from July 10th to 13th, followed by the AIG Women's Open later this month. With no update yet on whether her clubs have been recovered, the timing couldn't be worse. Golf bags for elite players aren't just expensive, they're essential. A full pro-level setup can cost between $3,000 and $5,000, not including custom fittings, backup gear, or the emotional toll of losing the tools that define a career. This isn't Delta's first brush with a golf bag blunder. Nelly Korda's Delta Airlines complaint came after Billy Horschel In May 2025, Billy Horschel tweeted after his luggage too went missing for some time. "Would love it if they make it on the next flight to Denver out of Atlanta. Can send the bag tag # to see if we can make this happen." Well Delta had to respond quickly after the public call out. It did and Horschel later confirmed: "Looks like all the bags are on the next flight to Denver. Thanks @Delta." But for Korda, there's been radio silence. The incident also highlights a broader issue. From Jennifer Chang's destroyed clubs to Ingrid Lindblad's stolen suitcase, airline mishandling of golf gear is becoming a recurring nightmare. And while most airlines offer compensation, the real cost, missed prep, mental stress, and disrupted routines, is far harder to replace.
