He was later seen explaining his decision to Helena - but couldn't resist a swipe at the other girl.
Commenting on Angel's red swimwear, he said she was 'dressing up as the angel last night, and the devil today'.
He added to Helena: 'I binned it off, babe. I said 'you're no good'. I've only got eyes for Hells Bells.'
The charmer then called out Helena for not having a stronger reaction to him 'binning off a 10/10' for her.
But fans think Harry made the decision to stick with Helena due to the final being just days away.
One wrote on social media: 'harry shutting things down with angel was like 'you came too late love and I want a chance to win this s***'.'
Someone else said: 'So you're trying to tell me Harrison decided to leave, Dejon decided to apologize to Yas, and Harry decided to bin Angel and go exclusive with Helena just because?'
And a third added: 'Harry & Dejon bringing out 'I'm loyal babes' 2 weeks to the final.'
During his conversation with Angel, Harry did confess that if she'd arrived earlier things would have been different.
He said: 'If it was week 3 I would have been in trouble.

'I just want to make Helena happy but I still want to spend time with you because I think that you're funny and we get on.'

AI used to aid Love Island casting process, ITV boss says

Speaking as ITV announced its half-year results, Dame Carolyn McCall said the broadcaster uses AI in many ways. 'We will use AI in any way we can to make what we do more efficient,' she told members of the media. 'And a great example of that for me from (ITV) Studios is they're using a tool where it's a smart editing assistance and it's about speed and quality. 'And they used it for Love Island and casting this year. 'So that productivity gain means that they can go and do other things, which is really, really good.' Love Island has been a huge ratings hit for ITV since its launch in 2015, with each series receiving around 100,000 applications from members of the public. A spokeswoman for ITV later explained that generative AI does not make any decisions during the Love Island casting process, but is used to edit hundreds of hours of footage into highlight reels for members of the team to then watch. 'It simply assists with the editing of audition tapes during the casting period,' she said. 'We get thousands and thousands of applications every year and we hold face to face auditions. 'When we get to the stage of narrowing it down to hundreds of prospective Islanders and we want to share audition highlights on a reel with the ITV commissioning team, to support the casting decision, we use the software (Quickture along with an Adobe editing programme) to edit the hundreds of hours of footage into highlight reels. 'It means that the casting team can then spend more time researching and finding more prospective Islanders.' Announcing its latest results on Thursday, ITV said it had stepped up cost-cutting plans again following a slump in half-year profits. The broadcaster said it was slashing costs by another £15 million, on top of £30 million previously announced, with spend on content being trimmed. The group flagged using technology among efforts to drive the latest round of cost-cutting.

I saw Prince Harry's rude side in Malawi – he was a patronising idiot and even his team were LIVID, expert slams

Sky News royal editor Rhiannon Mills made the comments while appearing on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show. Harry had invited the media as he visited a health clinic in a remote village in Malawi as part of the Sussexes' African tour. He talked to health officials and children suffering from malaria and Aids before being ushered to a waiting vehicle by palace officials. But Harry appeared annoyed when he was asked an unscheduled question about the visit as he was whisked away. Rhiannon told The Sun's Matt Wilkinson that she'd had a good working relationship with the prince previously, but this time "he got very grumpy". She said: "New Zealand was classic Harry. "I did this interview with him, he said 'I'd love to have kids right now'. "We had this really good rapport. It wasn't a friendship, it was friendliness, but he was always really helpful." So when she asked him a question in Malawi, she was shocked at his response. "Fast forward to the South Africa trip, which was sort of seen as quite make or break for them, because they'd had some negative headlines over the holidays. And actually that trip was going really well. "We were flying around in these little planes with him. "We were in Malawi and I was a bit under the cosh because I had to do kind of a special to end off the week. "So as he was about to walk past me, I thought, right, I'll do what I've done over the years. I'll just ask him a quick question. We've all done it, the dreaded doorstep. "It was a terrible question. It was a rubbish question. I just sort of said, 'oh, why is it so important for you to come here?' "And he looked at me and said 'oh, well just go and ask those people over there'. And I probably inside thought, hang on a minute, I'm not gonna leave this one. "I said, well, is that why it's so important for you to come here? And then he turned around and just said, 'Rhiannon, don't behave like that'. "And then got in his car and drove off. I felt like I'd looked like an idiot. "He looked really patronising. Nobody came out of it looking good." She added: "Anyway, it all blew up with his team. They were livid. "And then it was when we got back to Johannesburg and it was in that evening that that letter dropped, the 10 paragraph letter, accusing the Royal Press Pack of everything under the sun and saying that 'we're gonna sue the Mail on Sunday'. "So immediately I just realised, I frankly kicked the bear and I just didn't realise it at the time." The Duke of Sussex released the unprecedented statement on his personal website, complaining of 'relentless propaganda' against his wife Meghan Markle. He went on to announce the couple are launching legal action against the Mail on Sunday newspaper, which published extracts of a letter written by Meghan to her father Thomas Markle. 5 The Duke of Sussex takes part in a discussion with young people during a visit to the Mauwa Health Centre in Blantyre, Malawi, on day nine of the Royal tour of Africa Credit: PA:Press Association

Harry and Meghan Markle 'leaving Palace fearing next move' after Netflix blow

Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams has claimed the Sussexes could release a new bombshell memoir to boost their financial situation (Image: Anadolu via Getty Images) The Royal Family should be "concerned" over a potential new project of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, an expert has claimed. With their lucrative Netflix deal reportedly coming to an end in September, many have speculated what the Sussexes will turn to next to subsidise their finances. While both Harry and Meghan have a host of other projects that generate a hefty revenue, such as Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever, they have hefty bills to pay for the likes of their Montecito mansion and full-time security. Now, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes the Firm could be starting to fear that another explosive memoir could be on the way from Harry. A royal expert has claimed that Harry and Meghan could release a new memoir after their Netflix deal was cut (Image: Getty Images) In addition he says the royal family could also be concerned about Meghan releasing her own tell-all autobiography, given her critical views on her short time as a working royal. Mr Fitzwilliams told the Express: 'What would sell is another memoir. Harry told us when Spare was released that he cut 400 pages as they would be toxic for the Royal Family. The royals will be concerned that the Sussexes could publish another memoir and this time it could be Meghan, or Harry could write a memoir about his early life.' He continued: 'When you have unhappy exiles you either have reconciliation or you have trouble. I can't see Meghan and Harry wanting to change their lifestyle. This devastating blow from Netflix raises the question of how they fund it without dishing more dirt.' When asked about the Firm's potential concerns over Harry and Meghan's possible project, Fitzwilliams said: 'If you behave as outrageously as the Sussexes have, you are not trusted. 'Unless the Royal Family knows something we don't, they will be very worried. The Royal Family have not forgotten the devastating interview on Oprah and must be hoping they (Harry and Meghan) find a source of revenue very quickly.' The comments from Mr Fitzwilliam come after another royal expert claimed that Prince Harry could have an ulterior motive in pursuing the alleged royal reconciliation with King Charles, and could instead be asking for a 'handout'. Jobson said: 'Well, the deal was always set at about $100 million, wasn't it? And the talk of that figure sort of blew a lot of people's minds, but I think that was for productions and things that they're supposed to have done. 'Where does it leave them? Probably with a bit of a bowl out, looking for some handouts. Maybe that's why they were over with their staff, were over here having discussions with the King. I don't know. 'The reality is in the past they got support from the King and the late Queen, and they said they were going to go and make their way. They've lost Spotify, they've lost Netflix. They can't rely on the spare money forever, can they?' Earlier this month, it was reported that Netflix has decided not to renew the contract it holds with the Sussexes once it runs out in a few months time. The Sussexes are believed to have signed a five-year deal worth around $100million in September 2020.
