's sudden demise at the age of 54 has left the industry in shock. Among those struggling to come to terms with the news is actor Rizwann Sikander, who shared a close bond with him since their time together on Fear Factor India in 2006.
Rizwann recalls, 'Mukul bhai always had a soft corner for me during Fear Factor India. I think he saw the youngest, most adrenaline-filled, mentally strong version of me — and gave me a special place in his heart. He constantly encouraged me to push forward and never give up. I'll never forget that he was the first to announce my victory, proud and beaming with joy. Sharing that historic win with him was the start of my career, and a memory I'll cherish forever.
He truly was a gem of a person. His presence will be missed, but his belief in me will always stay in my heart.'
The two last met on the sets of R... Rajkumar (2013), which starred Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. Rizwann shares, 'We met through our common fitness coach. He was genuinely happy to see me, and all our Fear Factor memories came rushing back — we were laughing about all the goof-ups. I told him about my acting journey since then — working in Balaji TV shows, living in London, shooting a commercial, hosting a French reality show, even working at a restaurant near Victoria Bus Station, while continuing to pursue acting.
He appreciated my journey, boosted my morale, and encouraged me to never give up on my dream. He gave me his blessings.'
Rizwann remembers Mukul as someone who was warm, supportive, and grounded — traits that made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Vvan: Panchayat Director Deepak Kumar Mishra Joins Forces With Balaji & TVF For Sidharth Malhotra's Next

Last Updated: Panchayat's Deepak Mishra teams up with Balaji & TVF for Vvan, starring Sidharth Malhotra & Tamannaah. Film prep begins after first schedule wrap. After the tremendous success of Panchayat Season 4, director Deepak Kumar Mishra has already shifted gears, diving headfirst into his next big venture—Vvan, a much-anticipated collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures (a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd) and The Viral Fever (TVF). The film, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles, has generated significant buzz since its announcement and is poised to be a landmark cinematic event. What makes Vvan especially noteworthy is that it marks TVF's maiden foray into feature films. Known for their razor-sharp web content and series that have become cultural staples, TVF now teams up with Balaji Telefilms, one of India's most established production houses, to craft a unique theatrical experience. This alliance between two creative giants promises to bring a fresh narrative voice to the big screen—one that blends cinematic spectacle with the kind of intimate storytelling TVF is known for. According to industry insiders, director Deepak Kumar Mishra, fresh off the success of Panchayat, is already deep into preparations for Vvan. The film's first shooting schedule was wrapped up in June, and the second is slated to begin in August. With the production gaining momentum, expectations are riding high, especially among fans eager to see Sidharth Malhotra in what's expected to be an intense and layered performance. The promotional material, including posters and cast announcements, has only added to the anticipation. With excitement reaching a fever pitch, Vvan is quickly emerging as one of the most eagerly awaited releases on the horizon. Given its scale, cast, and the pedigree of its collaborators, it holds the promise of being more than just another release—it could very well be a cultural moment. As preparations intensify and the film moves closer to completion, all eyes are now on what this Balaji-TVF partnership will bring to the silver screen. If the buzz is anything to go by, Vvan is all set to redefine the language of contemporary Indian cinema. First Published:

Reformed OTT Release Date: When and where to watch Elsa Guedj & Éric Elmosnino's French dramedy

Reformed OTT Release Date: If you're in the mood for something meaningful but also a little quirky, Reformed might just be your next binge. This French dramedy, which has quietly made waves in Europe, is finally coming to Indian screens. It drops on JioHotstar from July 9, and honestly, it's a breath of fresh air compared to most of the overdone dramas we see on OTT these days. What is Reformed all about? At the centre of Reformed is Léa, a young woman in her late 20s who's just become a rabbi, yes, a female rabbi in modern-day France. That's already a big deal, but the show doesn't turn her into some perfect, polished saint. She's awkward, unsure, sometimes funny without trying to be, and constantly juggling her duties at the synagogue with her own personal mess- like living with her grumpy atheist dad, or helping people with birth, death, grief, love, and everything in between. The actress playing Léa, Elsa Guedj, is outstanding. In fact, her performance was so good, she won Best Actress at this year's Séries Mania Festival, one of Europe's top TV festivals. The show is loosely based on the life and book of Delphine Horvilleur, who's actually one of the few female rabbis in France. So there's a real-life connection here, which adds to how grounded everything feels. More about Reformed The creators, Noé Debré and Benjamin Charbit, didn't go the preachy route. They've told a very human story that just happens to take place in a Jewish community. Each episode is about 30 minutes, and it gives you real, everyday dilemmas. There's one episode about a boy's circumcision that stirs debate in the community. Another about a terminally ill woman who wants to be cremated, which isn't exactly accepted in Jewish tradition. Reformed's supporting cast includes Éric Elmosnino, Manu Payet, Noémie Lvovsky, Solal Bouloudnine, Anouk Grinberg, Suzy Bemba and Lionel Dray among others.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to fight trial about the French winery for 2 weeks; the ex-couple agrees with the timing

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie , the Mr. & Mrs. Smith actors, have been at each other's throats for a long time. The infamous rivalry will now transform into a courtroom drama, as the fight for the French winery is going to continue. Pitt vs Jolie trial to begin... According to US Weekly, Brad Pitt revealed in the court documents that the expected time for the jury trial will last for a fortnight, regarding the lawsuit he has against his ex-wife. The court documents also reveal that Jolie has agreed to the given time period. However, the date of the trial is yet to be determined, as several of the motions are yet to be decided. The 'F1' star has anointed this case as 'complicated' as many foreign parties are involved in the matter, and the defence has filed many cross claims in the case. What is the mess around the Miraval winery? The Chateau Miraval winery was bought by Pitt and Jolie when they were still head over heels for each other in 2008. When the disastrous and allegedly abusive private jet incident occurred, the couple decided to part ways but keep the winery to pass it down to their 6 children. However, in 2022, Pitt filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, claiming that she did not keep her promise of not selling their shares of the winery without informing the other person. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Secure Your Child's Future with Strong English Fluency Planet Spark Learn More Undo He told the court that he had spent a ton of money and effort on turning Miraval into a successful winery. In 2021, Jolie had approached Pitt to tell him that she wanted out of the Miraval shares through a private email, which the 'Fight Club' actor submitted to the court as one of the documents. 'In the past four years I have seen lots of inconsiderate behavior, money spent in ways that I would not have approved, and decisions made that I was not consulted on,' she wrote in the mail, before adding, 'I've been hurt by decisions that have been made that show no interest in sharing the business or changing it fundamentally into something that would be healthier for our children. ' While the ex-couple did work on buying her shares, Jolie claims that Pitt tried to make her sign an NDA, which would cover up years of abuse. Pitt denied the claim, and his lawyer argues that the accusations are a sham in the pretext of her selling the shares to a Russian billionaire, striking a deal with a third party.
