Viral: Netizens try out Lady Gaga's signature drink and it's not a fan favourite
Celebrities have this magical aura that you can't ever deny, if you like them and their work. They say among the most loyal people in the world are fans who will follow your advice on everything from makeup products to food preferences.
With the summer breeze flowing through the air, people are gravitating more and more towards vacations and drinks. In this scenario, many fans of Lady Gaga, one of the most popular singers across the globe, have been trying out her signature drink and the reviews were absolutely unexpected.
In a Vanity Fair YouTube video titled "Lady Gaga Takes a Lie Detector Test" the pop star shared that she drinks red wine in an unusual way.
When asked by the interviewer to explain, she said "with maraschino cherries and Diet Coke." While the interview was published in February, the influencers and followers have been trying out the drink during the summer.
The drink has an official name- kalimotxo or calimocho and comes from the Basque Country of Spain. In the more popular version, it consists of red wine mixed with cola, while some like to mix it with lime soda or orange pop.

Do the netizens like Lady Gaga's signature drink?

A TikToker recently tried the drink and shared that "you can't really tell" the different flavours of the red wine and coke when mixed together. 'The two together … kind of cancel each other out, both very subtle,' she said.
Another content creator described it as a "boozy cherry coke, but with rich tannins from the red wine." However, they added that they won't be having it again. "It's not completely foul, it is mayhem in a glass."
One influencer actually made the drink at home and actually liked it, saying, "This is getting a well yes from me. I'll definitely be drinking more of these."
'Gaga definitely stole that idea from 16-year-old me when I was trying to fool my dad that I don't drink,' one person joked.
"Been doing that for years! Red wine with diet squirt. It's good on hot summer days." wrote a person on X.
"If anyone's gonna stir up chaos with a cocktail, it's Gaga.
May not be for everyone, but that's kinda the point," added another.
The drink, however, is not a new concoction. Numerous Europeans confirmed that it's been a staple in bars for years, especially in the late 2000s. For those who love trying new drink flavours, Lady Gaga's signature drink might be worth a try.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain – Naya Season Promo: Is Rishabh's love for Bhagyashree a lie?
TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain – Naya Season managed to strike an emotional chord with audiences, thanks to its heartfelt storytelling and the refreshing chemistry between Harshad Chopda as Rishabh and Shivangi Joshi as Bhagyashree . The show's layered portrayal of love, vulnerability, and second chances had drawn viewers in deeply. In the developing narrative, Rishabh was still pretending to be Bhagyashree's husband in front of her family—a choice that was gradually bringing the two closer. Bhagyashree, disillusioned by love after a traumatic past, had slowly started opening up again. She had begun to see something sincere in Rishabh—something safe, something authentic. But just as she was beginning to trust him, a recently aired promo suggested that heartbreak might be waiting once again. The promo began on a gentle note, depicting Rishabh and Bhagyashree on a quiet street food date. As he handed her a plate of vada pav, the soft notes of the legendary title song played in the background, stirring a wave of nostalgia. Bhagyashree looked at him with a warmth that said it all—her eyes reflecting a bittersweet memory. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giá vàng đang tăng mạnh trong năm 2025 — Các nhà giao dịch thông minh đã tham gia IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo Rishabh, slightly confused by her gaze, was completely taken aback when she suddenly confessed that she loved him. The moment was raw, tender, and vulnerable. However, the tone of the promo soon took a jarring turn. In a shocking role reversal, Rishabh appeared in an entirely different avatar—wearing a sharp suit, his hair neatly tied back, exuding a cold and calculating aura. He walked into a room to meet an enigmatic, yet-to-be-revealed boss, who asked for an update on 'the plan.' The soft-spoken, gentle man Bhagyashree was falling for had vanished. In his place stood someone far more guarded—someone with an ulterior motive. With icy composure, Rishabh replied, 'Abhi tak toh mohabbat ka rang chadha hai, abhi badnaami ka daag lagna baaki hai.' His words hinted at a darker, more troubling reality—one that threatened to unravel everything.
