The company reaffirmed its full-year 2025 adjusted earnings outlook of at least $29.60 per share, slightly below analyst projections of $29.69. Evernorth Health Services, which includes pharmacy benefit management and specialty pharmacy services, was the primary growth driver with adjusted revenues increasing 17% to $57.8 billion compared to the same period last year. The segment's pre-tax adjusted income rose 5% to $1.7 billion. The company's medical care ratio rose to 83.2% from 82.3% in the year-ago quarter, reflecting expected higher stop loss medical costs. Total pharmacy customers increased 3% from December 31, 2024, to 121.9 million, while total medical customers decreased 6% to 18 million, primarily due to the HCSC transaction.
