Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engaged?
On 24 July 2025, Travis Kelce took to Instagram to post a collection of photos featuring himself, Taylor Swift, and their loved ones. One particular photo caught fans' attention and sparked speculation about the couple's relationship status. The picture in question? Travis' lock screen: a photo of himself and Taylor with her hand raised, seemingly showcasing a ring. Could the fans be right? Are Tayvis engaged? The Story of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance kicked off in the summer (our winter) of 2023 after Travis made his affections for Taylor known following her Eras Tour performance in Kansas City. Their relationship became official in September 2023 when Taylor was spotted at a Chiefs game. Since then, the couple has been seen together at various events and romantic rendezvous. Fans, particularly the Swifties, noticed a photo of Travis and Taylor where her hand appears to be displaying a ring on Travis' lock screen. This lead to speculation that the couple might be engaged. This suspicion isn't entirely unfounded given the nature of the photo. In addition to that, it's been just over two years since their memorable moment at the Eras Tour in Kansas City. With only a few months left until the two-year mark of their official relationship, excitement among the fans is warranted. According to E! News , the ring that Taylor was seen wearing is not an engagement ring (sorry Swifties). Rather, it is Travis' Super Bowl ring, which is arguably just as cute. Nonetheless, the photos Travis Kelce shared mark a significant milestone for the couple as they are now Instagram official. The couple appears to be happy and taking things slowly which is all a true Swiftie could ask for. Who knows, an actual engagement may be just around the corner. Pictures: Instagram Legendary singer Simphiwe Dana has taken to her social media platforms to blast actress Nomzamo Mbatha. The Ndiredi hitmaker, popularly known for embracing Afrocentric hairstyles, is accusing Mbatha of appropriating her hairstyle without acknowledging her as the inspiration. Mbatha, who stars in the Mzansi Magic historical drama Shaka iLembe, has been showcasing various traditional hairstyles both on-screen and during promotional appearances for the show. Dana said Mbatha, along with the Shaka iLembe team, should have 'at least acknowledged' her as the inspiration. 'Together with the Shaka iLembe crew. I'm so disappointed. Because I love you,' she said in a now-deleted post on Instagram. She added on X: 'I don't know if it's a lack of creative thinking or what. I don't mind being appreciated.
